How to wear black during Summer

Some would say that wearing black during summer is a big no-no but to be for me there's no such rules. I like to wear black all year round, I think it's easy and chic, a good staple that cannot be missed in anyone's wardrobe. When it's hot outside it can be tricky but if you choose lighter fabrics you're going to be fine. If I'm wearing all black I like to add at least one lighter color accessory, here I chose a neutral bag but you can add color if you want and really spice things up with jewelry and shoes. Any other black lovers out there? Have a nice day ;)

Alcuni dicono che il nero in estate è da evitare, ma per me non esistono regole quando si parla di moda. Mi piace vestirimi di nero tutto l'anno, lo trovo un colore semplice da abbinare e molto chic, un classico che non può mancare nel nostro guardaroba. Quando fa caldo può essere impegnativo, ma se scegliete materiali leggeri vi prometto che starete comunque freschissimi. Se scelgo un look total black, mi piace aggiungere almeno un accessorio di colore più chiaro, come ho fatto qui con la borsa, o qualcosa di colorato e potete davvero sbizzarvi con gioielli e scarpe.Spero che il post vi sia piaciuto e fatemi sapere se anche voi portate il nero in estate!! Hello everyone! Spring is really trying but I don't feel like it's there quite yet...and while I'm hoping to start wearing flowy tops and flats again it looks like I cannot part with my boots a sweater combo!

I like monochromatic looks, they're easy, effortless and you can't definitely go wrong with them and that's what inspired my look. Do you like monochromatic looks as well?

Mi piacciono i look monocromatici, sono facili da portare, possono essere d'effetto e sicuramente non si rischia di sbagliare ed è stata questa l'ispirazione del mio look di oggi. Oggi vi mostro cosa ho indossato nella giornata di domenica, che a differenza di sabato è stata piuttosto grigia e freddina. Mi piace indossare un total look nero e trovo che una collana importante, sia il modo perfetto di aggiungere un tocco originale e rendere il nostro oufit meno noioso! Spero vi piaccia! Looking for the perfect hat

Every Winter I feel the need to get a hat and no, I'm not talking about those wool hat to keep your head warm...I'm talking a full-on fancy hat that in my mind will look very chic and glamorous! Usually it doesn't take long to realize how hard it is to find a good quality hat that looks nice on me as well (duh?). Of course this year was no exception and I went crazy looking everywhere to find my perfect hat, I even got one online at Zara but I had to return it since it looked awful on... Then I remembered there is a little market stall in Florence San Lorenzo market where I use to get all my hats from. Eventually I managed to find it and surprise, surprise I came home with this which in my opinion is the perfect hat for me! Of course I'll show you how it looks on in an upcoming outfit post, so you can tell me what you think about it! Am I the only one with this hat-struggle experiences?

Ogni anno, quando arriva l'inverno, sento la necessità di comprare un cappello e no, non sto parlando di quelli di lana, utili per tenere la testa al caldo... parlo proprio di un bel cappello alla moda, che nella mia mente mi renderà chic e glamour! Di solito non ci metto molto a realizzare quanto sia complicato trovare il cappello giusto, che sia di buona qualità e che ovviamente mi stia bene. Quest'anno come avrete capito non ha fatto eccezione e la mia caccia al cappello perfetto mi ha portato a cercare davvero dovunque, ne avevo perfino preso uno da Zara online, che ovviamente ho dovuto restituire perché su di me stava proprio male... Poi mi sono ricordata che al mercato di San Lorenzo a Firenze, c'è un banco dove ho sempre trovato ottime occasioni! Alla fine l'ho ritrovato e sono tornata a casa con quello che penso sia il modello perfetto per me! Ovviamente vi mostrerò come mi sta in uno dei prossimi post, così mi direte se siete d'accordo con me! Voi che ne dite? Sono l'unica ad avere tutti questi problemi a scegliere un cappello?

Sweater weather

Every year during the cooler months I feel the urge to enlarge my clothing collection adding some warmer pieces and what's best than a nice sweater?! In Winter, sweaters are definitely my most worn pieces of clothing. You can find them in every different shape and colour, they can be casual or more dressy, fun and bold or dainty and feminine. So let's face it a sweater is definitely a good investment piece! Those you see in the photo I got from Brandy Melville and let me tell you, there's always an awesome choice of basic and super soft pieces there. I got a hoodie (it was on sale so...), a big, burgundy jumper and a black cropped sweater. Do you like them? What do you tend to wear the most during Winter?

Come ogni anno, quando arriva la stagione invernale, colgo l'occasione per aggiungere qualche nuovo capo al mio guardaroba e cosa c'è di meglio di un bel maglione?! Sono sicuramente i capi che indosso di più quando fa freddo e se ne trovano di tutte le forme e colori, modelli casual e più eleganti, con ricami divertenti o con filati pregiati. Insomma un maglione è sicuramente un acquisto di cui è difficile pentirsi! Quelli che vedete nella foto li ho presi da Brandy Melville, che offre sempre un'ottima scelta di capi basici e morbidissimi. Ho preso una delle loro felpine (era a sconto...), un bel maglione oversized color borgogna e un cropped swater nero. A voi piacciono? Quali sono i capi che indossate di più nel mesi freddi?

Geometric print top

A few weeks ago I saw this top on a very pretty girl but I was too shy to ask her where she got it from...so I started hunting for it and eventually I managed to spot it, on sale (oh yes!) at Zara. I really love it, I find that is one of those structured pieces that makes the most boring outfit looks cool :) The fabric is thick but not heavy and the print is very chic and versatile. I can see myself wearing this over a pair of black skinny jeans, as well as a mini skirt or a pair of shorts. Do you like it?

Qualche settimana fa, ho visto questo top indosso a una ragazza, ma mi sono vergognata a fermala per chiederle dove l'avesse preso...quindi ho iniziato la mia ricerca per ritrovarlo. Alla fine ce l'ho fatta e l'ho trovato in sconto (evvai!) da Zara. Mi piace moltissimo e lo trovo uno di quei capi strutturati, che rendono speciale anche il più semplice dei look :) Il materiale di cui è fatto è spesso, ma non pesante e la stampa è molto chic e versatile. Si abbina benissimo a un paio di skinny jeans neri, così come a una mini gonna o a un paio di shorts. A voi piace?

The perfect black belt

I like the look of belts but I've never been a belt person, even though I like to wear them from time to time and believe it or not I didn't own a black belt until I found this! I've been looking for one but I couldn't find anything I like. Then I went to COS and find this all black leather belt which is just right up my alley :) it's basic and the black buckle gives it a very chic look! I think it will look great on my beloved jeans or with some black pants. Do you like it? Do you wear belts?

Le cinture mi piacciono e anche se non le uso molto spesso, a volte mi piace portarle per rifinire i miei look ma vi confesso che prima di trovare questa, non possedevo una cintura nera! Era da un po' che ne cercavo una, ma non riuscivo a trovare niente che attirasse la mia attenzione. Poi sono stata da COS e ho trovato questa cintura completamente nera ed è stato amore a prima vista :) è molto semplice, ma la fibbia nera a mio avviso, aggiunge un tocco chic! Penso proprio che starà benissimo con i miei amati jeans o con un bel paio di pantaloni neri per un total look. Vi piace? Voi siete amanti delle cinture? Vi auguro una buona giornata!

It was a beautiful sunny day and we enjoyed strolling down the streets of this lovely place. Who doesn't like Chanel! I recently subscribed to PIUSTYLE a private sales website where you can find lots of nice brands for really awesome prices and yesterday I saw they are having a Chanel sale...OMG! I just had to share it with you guys, they have a great selection of vintage pieces and considering is Chanel the prices are very good so if you're interested go check it out because the sales ends in a couple days! Recentemente mi sono iscritta a PIUSTYLE un sito di vendite private online, dove si possono trovare un sacco di capi di marca a prezzi scontati e l'altro giorno ho visto che stavano facendo una vendita con pezzi vintage di Chanel...OMG! La selezione è davvero ampia e i prezzi (considerando che è Chanel ovviamente) non sono affatto male. Quindi se per caso siete interessati o volete anche solo dare un'occhiata vi consiglio di farci un salto, anche perchè la vendita Chanel finirà tra un paio di giorni! Suede booties

I love the infamous Isabelle Marant suede ankle booties but as we all know they're not cheap so I was looking for a more affordable alternative and I quite liked the Ash ones.  I started looking for them but they appeared to be sold out everywhere, not my size, or too expensive. On saturday I went out with my Mom to do some shopping and when I found them on sale and in my size I was really trilled!! I love this kind of shoes, I find the go with (almost) any look, plus they're comfortable! Do you like them?

Amo i famosi stivaletti scamosciati di Isabelle Marant, ma come sappiamo, non sono esattamente economoci, quindi ho trovato una valida alternativa in quelli di Ash. Li ho cercati per un sacco di tempo ma erano sempre sold out, non della mia misura o troppo cari. Quindi immaginatevi quando sabato, durante un giro di shopping con mia mamma, li ho trovati a sconto e nel mio numero...beh non c'è bisogno che aggiunga altro vero? Per me sono davvero scarpe versatili che si abbinano facilmente (quasi) ad ogni look e soprattutto sono comodi, che per me è fondamentale! Che ne dite vi piacciono?

Get the perfect festive look!

Hello everyone! Christmas is getting closer so I thought to share with you a festive outfit which I think will look super cute for the holidays! Ciao a tutti! Natale è davvero vicino ormai, quindi ho pensato di condividere con voi, un'idea per un look che secondo me è perfetto per le feste! Vi ricordate di Collant Shop, il marchio che vende calze con cui avevo collaborato alcuni mesi fa  (vedi qui, qui e qui)? Leather stripes

Hi guys! This is one of the outfit I wore while I was in Bruges that I forgot to show you. I found this little dress at Zara and as you can see it's a little black dress with leather stripes. The fabric is quite thick so it's perfect for cooler months and even though it's short sleeved you can wear it with a long sleeved top like I did. I like it because it's classic but edgy at the same time and you can easily dress it up or down depending on the occasion! Do you like it? Have a nice day!

Ciao ragazzi! Oggi vi mostro questo look di quando ero a Bruges, che avevo scordato di pubblicare. Ho trovato questo abitino da Zara e come potete vedere è un classico mini abito nero con delle strisce in pelle. Il tessuto è abbastanza spesso, quindi è perfetto da indossare in questi mesi freddi e anche se ha le maniche corte, potete fare come ho fatto io e indossare una maglia a maniche lunghe sotto. Mi piace molto perchè è un classico, ma le strisce in pelle aggiungono un tocco originale ed è un vestito che si può facilmente portare sia di giorno che di sera semplicemente cambiando scarpe e accessori! Che ne dite, vi piace? Buona giornata!!

Black-mode on!

I know, I know black is often considered boring and for some is not even a color...but I can't help it, I love it and even though I always say to myself I should buy more colorful clothes I always end up with a bunch of black ones XD So here are a few new addictions to my wardrobe...you kinda see the point don't you? 
I finally jumped on Crème de la Crème sweater wagon and I really like it! I got it a XS because I wanted it to have a slim fit and the other Zoe Karssen sweter I have it's kinda baggy on me...but now that I tried it on I'm not sure which look I prefer! Than I got a cami and a pair of skinny jeans from Top Shop. The jeans are so soft and comfy and the top is one of those staples super cute to wear on its own or under jackets! 

So guys tell me are you black lovers like me or do you prefer wearing colors?

Lo so, lo so, il nero è probabilmente uno dei colori più noiosi e c'è perfino chi non lo considera un colore...ma io non posso farci nulla, lo adoro! Anche se spesso mi riprometto di cercare di evitarlo e comprare più cose colorate, finisco sempre per prendere almeno un pezzo in nero XD Ed ecco qui alcuni nuovi acquisti che volevo mostrarvi...adesso capite dove volevo andare a parare eh? 

Alla fine ho ceduto al fascino della felpa di Zoe Karssen con la scritta Crème de la Crème! Ho preso una XS perchè volevo un effetto più slim, rispetto all'altra felpa di Zoe Karssen che ho, ma non so se ho fatto la scelta giusta...comunque vi farò vedere il risultato in qualche outfit :) Poi ho preso un top e una paio di skinny jeans da Top Shop. I jeans sono super comodi e il top mi piaceva perchè è uno di quei pezzi facilmente abbinabili, carini da soli o portati come sotto giacca!

Longchamp Planètes

Hello everyone! When I was in France I decided to get another bag from Longchamp since they are so much cheaper there. I remember a few years ago I didn't even like their totes and I didn't get why they were so popular. Well a few years later I got my first Longchamp Le Pliage tote and I was completely sold to the concept XD These totes are so light that all the weight you carry around is the actual amount of stuff you put in the bag. I'm usually carring with me quite a lot of stuff including my laptop, paper work and sometimes even a change of clothes and having a bag that can hold all of that without breaking and that doesn't weight a ton itself it's something that definitely worth the hype for me! It was a long intro I know but I just wanted to share it with you guys, that said I'm introducing you to my Planètes. It's another tote, same shape of Le Pliage but it's not foldable and the material is different. The fabric is thicker and gives the bag more structure and has a satin finish for a more sophisticated look. I got the smaller version with the long handles so I can easily wear it on my shoulder and altough is smaller compared to my Le Pliage it can still hold a lot of stuff. So if you're looking for a nice, durable tote you can use on holiday as well as in the city you should probably check them out :) Do you like this kind of bag? I hope you like the post! Ciao a tutti! Mentre ero in Francia, ho deciso di prendere un'altra borsa di Longchamp visto che li costano molto meno. Mi ricordo che un paio di anni fa le loro totes non mi piacevano e non riuscivo proprio a capire come mai fossero così popolari! Beh un paio di anni più tardi ho preso la mia Le Pliage e me ne sono innamorata XD Queste borse sono davvero leggerissime, quindi tutto il peso che vi portate dietro è "soltanto" quello delle cose che ci mettete dentro. Solitamente mi porto dietro un sacco di cose tra cui il portatile, documenti di lavoro e a volte anche un cambio d'abito, quindi per me avere una borsa che di per se non pesi una tonnellata è decisamente un concetto vincente! Scusate la lunga introduzione ma volevo condividere con voi questa cosa, comunque adesso vi parlo della mia nuova Planètes. E' un'altra tote che ha la stessa forma della Le Pliage ma non si può ripiegare e il materiale è diverso. Il tessuto è più spesso e questo conferisce alla borsa una maggiore struttura ed è satinato per un aspetto più sofisticato. Ho preso la versione piccola con i manici lunghi, che la rendono più pratica potendola portare facilmente sulla spalla. Nonostante sia più piccola rispetto alla mia Le Pliage è davvero capiente e contiente moltissime cose. Quindi se state cercando una borsa carina e resistente che vi accompagni in viaggio come in città, vi consiglio di dargli un'occhiata :) A voi questo tipo di borse piacciono? Hi guys! It's Friday, yay :D You know I love Pairs and anything French so how could I not alredy own a pair of Chatelles slippers?! They are the best really, so luxurious and well made, super comfortable and chic and if you're someone like me who don't really like to wear heels, they're pure perfection!! They came in a bunch of different colors but after a long debate I decided to go for black so that I can get the most use out of them!Do you like them?

Finalmente è venerdì, che bello :D Sapete tutti che amo Parigi e qualsiasi cosa sia francese, quindi mi sono chiesta come fosse possibile che non possedessi un paio di slippers di Chatelles! Sono le migliori secondo me, estremamente dettagliate e di ottima fattura, sono comodissime e chic. Per me che non amo portare i tacchi sono davvero l'ideale!! Esistono un sacco di colori carinissimi ma dopo averci pensato a lungo, ho deciso di optare per il nero, così da sfruttarle il più possibile e devo dire che sono soddisfattissima della mia scelta! A voi piacciono?
