Boxer braids

Boxer braids are are the new thing if you want your hair to be on fleek! Born as a fashionable way to keep the hair out of your face while you're working out, it quickly became popular in the star system.  Kim Kardashian (and North) was among the first to sport them and well now you can see them anywhere! It's not the easiest look to achive but I love it and I'm definitely going to attempt to recreate this look. You can find a tutorial at the and of the post if you want to try this hairstyle yourself! Ovvimente Kim Kardashian (e North) non potevano mancare tra le dive che hanno resto questo look ancora più celebre. Lace up flats

Pointy, lace up shoes and hot this season! You can see them everywhere, flats, heels, sandals, in every possible material or color, high street or high fashion. At first I was reluctant, I wasn't sure if they would suit me but in the end I cave in and got this pair of flats. They are inspired by Acquazzura Christy flats and I love them to death! They are very simple but the lace up detail gives them the right amount of edge. You can easily dress them up or down and for someone like me, who doesn't really wear heels they're the perfect pair of shoes to make even the most boring pair of jeans more feminine. Do you like them? Would you add a pair to your shoes collection?

Vi sarete accorti che sono tornate di moda le scarpe a punta, ma quello che le rende vermanete "in" al momento, sono i lacci intrecciati! Si trovano dovunque da le catene low cost, all'alta moda, basse, con il tacco, sandali, in tutti i colori e i materiali che riuscite ad immaginare. All'inizio ero riluttante, non pensavo che facessero per me, ma poi ho ceduto e ho deciso di prendere queste ballerine intrecciate. Sono ispirate al modello Christy di Acquazzurra e le adoro! Sono molto semplici, ma il dettaglio dei lacci le rende davvero originali. Sono perfette per qualsiasi occasione e per chi, come me, non porta molto i tacchi, sono un'alternativa perfetta per rendere femminile anche il più noiso paio di jeans. A voi piacciono? Sono sicura che avrete notato che gli zaini sono una delle mode del momento...Nel mondo della moda succede spesso che qualcosa, considerato assolutamente da evitare qualche anno fa, subisca un restyling e diventi improvvisamente l'oggetto del desiderio di qualsiasi fashionista (vedi espadrillas, salopette, ecc.) ma è anche per questo che amo la moda, non siete d'accordo?! Questo ritorno degli zaini mi piace, sono un accessorio utile e adoro queste nuove forme lineari, molto minimali e decisamente chic! I came up with three different options, the first one very soft and chic, the second more dreamy and flowy and the last one which is a romantic pop of color!! Anche se dalle mie parti è ancora grigio e freddino, la Primavera è davvero alle porte e insieme a lei arriva la stagione dei matrimoni! Parlando di moda, all'estero, uno degli ultimi trend è quello di scegliere abiti spaiati per le damigelle. Da noi non si usa molto avere le damigelle, ma trovo che sia un'idea molto carina e su Weddington Way potrete scegliere tra una vastissima selezione, di abiti davvero belli! Ovviamente potete prendere ispirazione anche se state cercando un vestito da cerimonia. Avere a disposizione una scelta così ampia, può essere spiazzante all'inizio ma il mio consiglio è quello di partire dal tema del matrimonio e da li scegliere un paio tessuti diversi, colori e texture e cominciare a mixare. Per quanto riguarda lo stile dell'abito, avete a disposizione moltissimi modelli diversi, quindi non sarà difficile trovare quello che meglio si addice alla vostra figura. Ho creato tre set diversi per mostrarvi alcune opzioni e alcuni dei miei vestiti preferiti. Per il primo set ho scelto uno stile classico e chic, per il secondo uno stile sognante e per il terzo uno stile romantico e colorato!! Sul sito potete creare i vostri abbinamenti affiancando i vari abiti, per trovare la combinazione perfetta! Looking for the perfect hat

Every Winter I feel the need to get a hat and no, I'm not talking about those wool hat to keep your head warm...I'm talking a full-on fancy hat that in my mind will look very chic and glamorous! Usually it doesn't take long to realize how hard it is to find a good quality hat that looks nice on me as well (duh?). Of course this year was no exception and I went crazy looking everywhere to find my perfect hat, I even got one online at Zara but I had to return it since it looked awful on... Then I remembered there is a little market stall in Florence San Lorenzo market where I use to get all my hats from. Eventually I managed to find it and surprise, surprise I came home with this which in my opinion is the perfect hat for me! Of course I'll show you how it looks on in an upcoming outfit post, so you can tell me what you think about it! Am I the only one with this hat-struggle experiences?

Ogni anno, quando arriva l'inverno, sento la necessità di comprare un cappello e no, non sto parlando di quelli di lana, utili per tenere la testa al caldo... parlo proprio di un bel cappello alla moda, che nella mia mente mi renderà chic e glamour! Di solito non ci metto molto a realizzare quanto sia complicato trovare il cappello giusto, che sia di buona qualità e che ovviamente mi stia bene. Quest'anno come avrete capito non ha fatto eccezione e la mia caccia al cappello perfetto mi ha portato a cercare davvero dovunque, ne avevo perfino preso uno da Zara online, che ovviamente ho dovuto restituire perché su di me stava proprio male... Poi mi sono ricordata che al mercato di San Lorenzo a Firenze, c'è un banco dove ho sempre trovato ottime occasioni! Alla fine l'ho ritrovato e sono tornata a casa con quello che penso sia il modello perfetto per me! Ovviamente vi mostrerò come mi sta in uno dei prossimi post, così mi direte se siete d'accordo con me! Voi che ne dite? Sono l'unica ad avere tutti questi problemi a scegliere un cappello?

The shirt dress

Shirt dresses are really in at the moment so I'd been looking for one I like that wasn't too thin and suitable for every day wear. I stumbled across this lovely piece from Zara (surprise-surpirse!) and well now it's mine XD I like the fact that the fabric is thicker but still flattering, soft and cozy. I can't wait to wear it with some tights and boots! Do you like it? Will you embrace this trend too?

I vestiti camicia sono davvero in al momento, quindi era da un po' che ne cercavo uno che mi piacesse, che non fosse troppo leggero e che fosse adatto da portare tutti i giorni. Ho trovato questo modello da Zara (che sorpresa eh!) e adesso è mio XD Mi piace il fatto che il tessuto sia spesso e che torni bene una volta indossato, poi è morbidissimo e caldo, cosa si può chiedere di più? Non vedo l'ora di indossarlo con un paio di calze e gli stivali! A voi piace? Proverete anche voi a sperimentare con questo trend?

Trendy lipstick for Fall

It's no secret I'm a lipstick addict so I though I'd share with you some trends for Fall and some of my favourite options! Every year when the leaves start falling we suddendly feel the urge to put on a bold lip (at least I do) and this Fall is no exception, dark vampy lips are everywhere! My favourite at the moment is Ingrid by Nars. Nars recently released a new lipstick formula called Audacious Lipstick and every colour has a woman name. They're really amazing lipsticks and the pigmentation is awesome, the have a new fancy packaging too. Ingrid is part of a limited edition collection exclusive to Barneys and Selfridges, so If you like it I'd grab one real quick! Since this is a limited edition I wanted to include a couple alternatives, Chanel Rouge Coco in n. 29 Ballet Russe, Revlon lipstick in the shade 663 Va va violet and Revlon lip crayon in n. 005 Crush. Another trend for the season is matte lipstick and the more exciting release is definitely Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution. It's a new range of 10 beautiful shade, all matte but what's cool about them is the texture. In fact they're not drying at all, they're really creamy and comfortable on the lips so that we can rock our matte look all day! I have the colour Amzing Grace which is a tea-rose, gorgeous shade. If you want an alternative you can try Rimmel by Kate lipsticks. I have the color 05 or the lip crayon from Revlon in the color n. 205 Elusive. Nars do some amzing matte lipstick in crayon from as well and they came in plenty of different shades! Last but not least we have berry shades, my favourite is Revlon lip butter in Berry Smoothie because it's easy to apply and you can build up the colour! I also really love Mac Plumfull and Clinique chubby stick intense in 06 Roomiest Rose. I hope you enjoyed the post and if you have some lipstick you think I should try for Fall, leave me a comment!! Il fatto che ami i rossetti alla follia, non è certamente un segreto. Quindi ho pensato di condividere con voi alcuni dei trend autunnali e ovviamente mostrarvi i miei preferiti! Ogni anno quando iniziano a cadere le foglie, sentiamo improvvisamente il bisogno di mettere un rossetto scuro (o almeno succede a me) e questo autunno non fa eccezione, infatti gli scaffali delle profumerie si sono già riempiti di rossetti dai colori scuri! Il mio preferito al momento è di Nars nel colore Ingrid. La Nars ha recentemente lanciato una nuova linea di rossetti che si chiama Nars Audacious Lipstick e ogni colore ha un nome di donna. Sono davvero fantastici e il nuovo packaging è bellissimo. Ingrid fa parte di una collezione ad edizione limitata che si trova solo da Barneys e Selfridges, quindi se vi piace non ci penserei troppo. Tra quelli permanenti, ci sono un sacco di colori bellissimi e in Italia li trovate da Sephora! Visto che questa è un'edizione limitata ho voluto includere un altro paio di proposte come il Rouge Coco di Chanel nel colore n. 29 Ballet Russe, il rossetto di Revlon nel colore n. 663 Va va violet e il matitone, sempre di Revlon, nel colore n. 005 Crush. Un altro trend per questa stagione è quello dei rossetti matte e l'uscita più entusiasmante è senza dubbio quella di Charlotte Tilbury con i suoi Matte Revolution lipsticks. È una nuova linea di 10 rossetti tutti matte, ma la cosa più interessante è la texure. Infatti a differenza dei soliti rossetti opachi che seccano le labbra, questi hanno una formula molto più ricca e confortevole sulle labbra. Io ho il colore Amzing Grace che è un bellissimo rosa. Se volete un'alternativa vi consiglio di provare il rossetto di Rimmel by Kate nel colore 05 o il matitone di Revlon nel colore n. 205 Elusive. Ance la Nars fa dei fantastici matitoni opachi e si trovano davvero una serie infinita di colori diversi, da provare! Ultimo ma non meno importante il color Mirtillo. Il mio rossetto preferito in questo colore, è il lip butter di Revlon nel colore Berry Smoothie, è facile da applicare ed  è possibile renderlo più intenso con una seconda (o terza) passata! Mi piacciono tantissimo anche Plumful di Mac e il Chubby stick intense di Clinique nel colore 06 Roomiest Rose. The checked shirt

When Fall is coming around I always find a good excuse to get a new checked shirt! They're such a staple in my autumnal wardrobe and there are so many different models! I like to wear them with jeans, all buttoned up with rolled sleeves or completely unbuttoned, over a tank-top with a belt to define my waist. This time I'd been eyeing lots of monochrome ones and I find them such a chic, modern twist to your average checked shirt...and yes if you're trying to guess...this is my excuse for the season ;)

Quando arriva l'Autunno, trovo sempre una scusa per prendermi una nuova camicia a quadri! Sono un tale passepartout e se ne trovano un numero infinito di varianti! A me piace portarle con i jeans, abbottonate fino in cima e con le maniche arrotolate, ma anche completamente sbottonate, con sotto una canotta e magari una cintura a definire il punto vita. Questa stagione ho visto in giro un sacco di modelli monocromatici, la trovo una variante molto chic e moderna della classica camicia a quadri...e sì, se ve lo stavate domandando, questa sarà la mia scusa, questa volta ;)A voi piacciono le camicie a quadri? Qual'è il vostro modello preferito? Ah dimenticavo, quella nella foto è di Zara.

Sweatshirts

I fell for the slogan sweatshirt trend as you can see and looks like it'll be big next season so I thought I'd share with you my little collection :) I have two sweatshirts from Zoe Karssen which I love, they're very good quality and looks so pretty on! The only downside is the price tag but there are tons of alternatives out there includind this "black coffee please" one I got for Pull & Bear for just €19.99. I like to style them very casual but you can dress them up too and they're definitely super comfortable! Do you like them?Do you have any in wardrobe?

Come potete vedere sono caduta nella rete delle felpe con le scritte e sembra proprio che sarà uno dei trend della prossima stagione, quindi ho pensato di mostrarvi la mia piccola collezione :) Ho due felpe di Zoe Karssen che adoro! Sono di ottima qualità e indossate sono davvero carinissime, l'unico neo è il prezzo, ma in giro si trovano moltissime alternative a prezzi più contenuti, come ad esempio la felpa "black coffee please" che ho trovato da Pull & Bear a €19,90. A me piace portarle in versione casual, ma volendo si possono mettere per creare look più particolari. Voi cosa ne dite, vi piacciono? Ne avete qualcuna nell'armadio?

Black leather mini

One trend that never goes out of style is leather, may it be a classic leather jacket or just a leather panel inserted in a shirt. For this season looks like leather minis are the new thing! I saw lots of them in every store so I decided to give it a go :) This one is a pleather skirt from H&M and costs something like €19.99 so it's not too bad! What caught my attention was the high-low shape which is really flattering on and I also love the zippers on the sides. We'll see if I'll be able to adjust it to my style! What about you? Do you like it?

Un trend che non passa mai di moda è sicuramente quello della pelle, che sia il classico giubbotto o anche solo un piccolo insterto su una maglietta. Per questa stagione, sembra proprio che la mini gonna in pelle sia la nuova moda! Ne ho viste davvero di tutti i tipi e per tutte le tasche, quindi alla fine ho deciso di provarla :) Quella che ho scelto è una mini in finta pelle di H&M che costa €19,99 che a mio avviso non è male! Quello che mi ha colpita è stato il taglio, più corto davanti e più lungo dietro che torna molto bene addosso e mi piacciono moltissimo anche le zip sui lati. Vedremo se troverò un modo per adattarla la mio stile! Intanto ditemi, a voi piace?

Hi guys! Do you like chain bracelets? They seem to be everywhere lately! I'm obsessed with the beautiful Céline piece you see in the first pic but I'm afraid it's going to be expensive XD Other brands like Marc Jacobs and Dannijo came up with some really cute ones too and of course most affordable brands like Forever XXI and Asos created their own version of this trendy piece! So do or don't?

Ciao ragazzi! Vi piacciono i braccialetti a catena? Si vedono dovunque ultimamente! Io personalmente sono ossessionata dal bracciale di Céline che vedete nella prima foto, ma temo che sia estremamente costoso XD Anche Marc Jacobs e Dannijo hanno realizzato alcuni bracciali in questo stile davvero carini e marchi low cost come Forever XXI e Asos vendono a prezzi modici la loro versione di questo accessorio! Quindi che ne dite sì o no?

Hi guys! How are you? What are your plans for the weekend? I have some things to sort out and then just relax :) I already know my love for Zara so I decided to share with you my latest cravings from their collection! I'm really loving the shoes in the first pic, they're kinda different but in a good way...I guess XD I think I'll go to the shop to try them on and see what happens! Ciao ragazzi! Come state? Cosa avete in programma per il fine settimana? Io ho alcune cosette da sbrigare e poi relax :) Ormai conoscete la mia passione per Zara, così ho deciso di mostrarvi alcune cose della loro ultima collezione che mi piacciono! Adoro le scarpe nella prima foto, sono davvero strane ma in senso buono...almeno credo XD penso proprio che farò un salto al negozio per provarle e vedere cosa succede! Non so perchè ma ultimamente sono fissata con le gonne lunghe e questa arancione acceso mi piace proprio un sacco, che ne dite?
