I'm sure you've noticed that backpacks are a thing...In the fashion world it happens all the time, something that was a big "no-no" a few years back, get a restyling and suddendly become every fashionista's dream (see espadrilles, dugarees, etc.) but well that's what I like about fashion, don't you?! I like this new turn on backpacks, they're really convenient and I'm definitely into these new, sleek shapes, very minimal but so chic! Today I decided to share with you a selection of my favourites! I haven't decided yet if I'm going to embrace this trend or not but let me tell you...I'm tempted! What about you?

Sono sicura che avrete notato che gli zaini sono una delle mode del momento...Nel mondo della moda succede spesso che qualcosa, considerato assolutamente da evitare qualche anno fa, subisca un restyling e diventi improvvisamente l'oggetto del desiderio di qualsiasi fashionista (vedi espadrillas, salopette, ecc.) ma è anche per questo che amo la moda, non siete d'accordo?! Questo ritorno degli zaini mi piace, sono un accessorio utile e adoro queste nuove forme lineari, molto minimali e decisamente chic! Oggi ho pensato di condividere con voi alcuni dei miei modelli preferiti. Non so ancora se seguirò questo trend o meno, ma lasciate che ve lo dica...sono tentata! Voi che ne pensate?

I really like the look of baseball hats, they're really fun and a super easy way to spice up your look! I'm not really into sports but I always loved the New York Yankees logo and New York is one of my favourites places in the whole world. So thanks to the baseball hats on Fanatics, I was able to create a flirty and edgy look!! They have an incredible selection of hats and I'm sure you'll find the right one for you either you're a baseball fan or not! As you know I like to keep my looks casual but girly so I choose a pair of ripped skinny jeans, paired with a stripy sweater and a leather jacket, a nice bag, a pair of flats and NY baseball hat adds just the right amount of edge! I cappellini da baseball mi piacciono molto, li trovo divertenti e un modo davvero semplice di rendere un look più interessante! Non sono una grande fan del baseball ma mi è sempre piaciuto molto il logo dei New York Yankees e New York è una delle mie città preferite. Quindi grazie a Fanatics ho trovato il cappellino da baseball perfetto e mi sono diverita a creare un look ad hoc! Sul sito ci sono davvero un sacco di modelli diversi ed è impossibile non trovare qualcosa che vi piaccia, che siate o meno appassionati di baseball! Come sapete, mi piace vestire casual così ho scelto un paio di skinny jeans, un maglioncino a righe, una giacca di pelle e li ho abbinati con una borsa e delle ballerine molto femminili. Per finire il cappellino dei New York Yankees che, secondo me, rende il look davvero moderno! Vi piace? Summer look #3

Hello everyone! How was your weekend? In Florence was boiling hot...but not it's pouring rain! I don't know what it is up with this weather! Anyways saturday was very sunny, so I decided to wear my printed dress from Zara that I got in the sales. I really like this dress, I think it's fun and I love the wide neck cut, I think it's very flattering! I paired it with a pair of tennis shoes just because I had to walk a lot that day and I couldn't be bothered wearing something that wasn't mega comfy.  It's a very versatile dress, perfect for summer and it will look super cute with heels, flats or sandals. I hope you liked the look and I wish you all an awesome day!

Ciao a tutti! Come è andato il fine settimana? A Firenze è stato caldissimo...e ovviamente da stamani non fa altro che piovere! Certo che il clima è davvero impazzito! Ma torniamo a noi, visto che sabato era una bella giornata di sole, ho deciso di indossare il mio abitino stampato, preso ai saldi da Zara. Mi piace un sacco, adoro la stampa e trovo delizioso il taglio ampio del collo! L'ho abbinato a un paio di scarpe da ginnastica solo perchè sapevo che avrei dovuto camminare un sacco, quindi volevo essere sicura di non avere problemi, ma il vestito è davvero versatile e si abbina facilmente ai tacchi, a un paio di ballerine o dei pratici sandali :) Spero che il look vi sia piacciuto e vi auguro buona giornata!

Black and white from day to night

I love black and white, I think it's effortlessly chic and it's definitely one of my favourite combos. Today I wanted to show you this look which is my go-to outfit perfect for transitioning from day to night! I love the Top Shop Leigh jeans, they're so comfortable but in the black version they look more put together and you can wear them to work as well as for a night out! For the day I like to wear flats or trainer because I'm always on the go and I want to be comfortable but after work I can put on a pair of heels and be ready to go out for drinks! Even though I love big bags when I'm out all day I like to carry something smaller. It's lighter, easier and will goes perfectly with my "night" look.

I add a statement necklace and if I have the time I'll fix my make-up and then I'm ready to go :) I hope you like the look and don't forget to share with me your little tricks for transitioning a look from day to night!!

Amo il bianco e nero, penso sia una combinazione davvero chic ed è senza dubbio la mia preferita. Oggi voglio mostrarvi questo look che è ciò che di solito indosso quando sono fuori tutto il giorno e la sera devo uscire, ma non ho tempo di passare da casa e quindi in poche mosse riesco a trasformarlo da "giorno" a "sera"! Adoro i Leigh jeans di Top Shop, sono comodissimi e in nero, nella versione cropped, sono perfetti per l'ufficio ma anche per una serata fuori. Visto che sono sempre in movimento, per il giorno preferisco indossare ballerine o scarpe da ginnastica. Finita la giornata posso facilmente sostituirle con un paio di tacchi e la trasformazione è completa! Sebbene adori le borse grandi, in questi casi scelgo sempre una borsa piccola, è più facile da portare in giro e si adatta meglio anche a un look da sera. Per finire aggiungo una collana importante e se ho tempo, ritocco il trucco e via, sono pronta per la mia serata :) Spero che il look vi sia piaciuto. Packing for the weekend

Hello everyone! Last weekend I went for a little trip with my boyfriend to visit his family. I got a new suitcase so I thought to share with you how I like to pack. I got my suitcase from Piustyle a private sale website that offers you awesome deals on so many different brands (remember the vintage Chanel sale?)! I was in need of a nicer suitcase since I'm always travelling and I saw this navy blue one from the brand Bric's which is just perfect for me: not too small, not too big and its awesome quality makes me feels like it'll last for a very long time! Btw back to packing...I like to travel light...mainly because I'm lazy and if I don't force myself to do so I end up packing so many things i don't need, which also mean I still have to wash them when I get home! So what I like to do is to plan a couple outfit in advance, choosing pieces I can mix and match. I put in an extra pair of nice shoes and everything else goes into small pouches: one for my toiletries, one for jewelry, one for my techy stuff and voilà I'm ready to go :D

This method works great for me and allows me to bring everything I need without overpacking. How do you like to pack? Have a nice day!!

Ciao a tutti! Lo scorso fine settimana ho fatto una piccola gita fuori porta per andare a trovare i parenti del mio ragazzo. Visto che ho appena preso una nuova valigia, ho deciso di mostrarvi il suo contenuto! La valigia l'ho presa su Piustyle, il sito di vendite private che offre articoli di marca a prezzi vantaggiosi (vi ricordate la vendita di Chanel vintage?)! Visto che viaggio spesso era alla ricerca di una valigia più carina e quando ho visto questa di Bric's in blu navy ho pensato che sarebbe stata perfetta per me: non troppo piccola, non troppo grande e di ottima qualità, cosa che mi fa pensare che durerà parecchio! Ma torniamo al contenuto...diciamo che mi piace viaggiare leggera (per quanto una donna possa mai farlo davvero), principalmente perchè sono pigra e non mi va di portarmi dietro un quintale di roba, per poi non metterla e finire per doverla comunque lavare e stirare quando torno a casa. Quindi di solito pianifico in anticipo un paio di outfit e scelgo capi che posso facilmente abbinare tra loro, in maniera da avere varie opzioni. Metto sempre in valigia un paio di scarpe in più e il resto lo divido in piccole pochette: una per le cose da bagno, una per i trucchi, una per i gioelli, ecc. et voilà sono pronta a partire :D

Questo per me è un sistema che funziona benissimo e mi permette di portare il necessario senza esagerare, voi invece? Come fate la valigia? Buona giornata!!

Ciao a tutti! Natale è davvero dietro l'angolo, quindi è arrivato il momento di condividere con voi alcune idee per i regali di Natale, proprio come ho fatto l'hanno scorso! Rainy Florence

A weekend in fairyland!

Hi everyone! Last weekend I went to Abruzzo with my boyfriend to visit his family and to attend his nephew baptism! It was freezing and on Saturday night it started snowing...a lot...It felt just like Christmas :D btw we found the time to snap some shots of the beautiful place we where staying and of my outfit of course!!
