How to wear black during Summer

Some would say that wearing black during summer is a big no-no but to be for me there's no such rules. I like to wear black all year round, I think it's easy and chic, a good staple that cannot be missed in anyone's wardrobe. When it's hot outside it can be tricky but if you choose lighter fabrics you're going to be fine. If I'm wearing all black I like to add at least one lighter color accessory, here I chose a neutral bag but you can add color if you want and really spice things up with jewelry and shoes. Any other black lovers out there? Have a nice day ;)

Alcuni dicono che il nero in estate è da evitare, ma per me non esistono regole quando si parla di moda. Mi piace vestirimi di nero tutto l'anno, lo trovo un colore semplice da abbinare e molto chic, un classico che non può mancare nel nostro guardaroba. Quando fa caldo può essere impegnativo, ma se scegliete materiali leggeri vi prometto che starete comunque freschissimi. Se scelgo un look total black, mi piace aggiungere almeno un accessorio di colore più chiaro, come ho fatto qui con la borsa, o qualcosa di colorato e potete davvero sbizzarvi con gioielli e scarpe.Spero che il post vi sia piaciuto e fatemi sapere se anche voi portate il nero in estate!! Like Parisians do...

I feel like in Spring we all want to be more girly, we put away (almost) all of our winter sweater, spend more time outside and do some shopping of course! For me this is the best time to take out the closet my beloved stripy tops, pair them with skinny jeans, velvet slipper and put on a red a lip just like Parisians do...yes I know it's quite a cliché but I can't help it, I love this look!! Do you like it too? ;)

A Primavera ci sentiamo un po' più femminili, riponiamo (quasi) tutti i maglioni nell'armadio, passiamo più tempo all'aperto e ovviamente facciamo shopping per la nuova stagione! È il momento perfetto per indossare i miei adorati top a righe, magari con un paio di skinny jeans e slippers in velluto, labbra rosse et voilà mi sento una vera parigina...beh lo so, è proprio un cliché ma non posso farci niente, adoro questo genere di look!! E voi che ne dite? ;)

New in

During the past weeks I accumulated some new things that I wanted to share with you! I finally put my hands on the mini size of my favourite Stella by Stella McCarteney perfume, super cute and perfect for travelling! As a free gift I got a mascara it's called Big Look and it's from the brand Pür Cosmetics. It's an eco-friendly company that do not test on animals. They have quite an interesting rage of products and I'm excited to see if I like this mascara, which contains argan oil! I decided to get a new foundation because I only use BB creams and sometimes I could use some extra coverage. I got the new Infallible 24h-matte from L'Oreal which is really popular and of course I'll let you know how I like it. I also got a light reflecting pen from Mac in the shade Light boost. It's one of those that you apply to highlight your face and this particular one is yellow based so it's great to tone down redness and it's quite brighteningh as well. I already tried it and I'm liking it so far. For lipstick I decided to get out of my comfort zone and go for a darker, fuller-looking lip! I ended up getting Twig from Mac and the lip liner Absolutely it which is great if you want a Kylie Jenner-esque pout! Last I got a striped top from Zara...you know...I never seem to have enough of those XD

Nelle ultime settimane, ho accumulato alcune cosine nuove che voglio mostrarvi! Finalmente sono riuscita a trovare la versione mini del mio profumo preferito, Stella by Stella McCartney, la confezione è deliziosa ed è la misura perfetta da portare in viaggio. Insieme al profumo mi hanno regalato un mascara  della marca Pür Cosmetics, che è un brand eco-friendly che non testa sugli animali. Il mascara si chiama Big look e contiene olio di argan, promette bene e sono impaziente di provarlo. Ho deciso di prendere un fondotinta, di solito uso le BB cream, ma a volte non mi dispiacerebbe avere un po' più di coprenza, quindi ho scelto l'Infallible 24H di L'Oreal. Ne ho sentito parlare molto bene e ovviamente vi farò sapere come mi sono trovata. Ho preso anche una light reflecting pen della linea Prep and Prime di Mac, nel colore Light boost. 

È uno di quei prodotti che servono per illuminare alcune zone del viso e se applicati correttamente, aiutano a nascondere i segni della stanchezza. Quella che ho scelto ha una dominante gialla, quindi aiuta a minimizare i rossori, ma ci sono molti altri colori a seconda delle vostre esigenze, per ora devo dire che mi sta piacendo molto, è leggero e ha un'ottima tenuta. Per quanto riguarda il rossetto, mi sono spinta in una combinazione che non è da me! Ho scelto infatti un rossetto abbastanza opaco, Twig di Mac da abbinare con la matita Absolutely It per un look super definito à la Kylie Jenner! Per ultima non poteva mancare una maglia a righe, presa da Zara...eh sì...sembra proprio che non ne abbia mai abbastanza XD

Ciao a tutti! Ultimamente sono fissata con qualsiasi capo color cammello.  Adoro questo colore e trovo che sia chic e facile da abbinare. Mi piace indossare un top semplice, color cammello con la mia collana dorata preferita, un paio di skinny jeans, stivali e completo il look con accessori neri e un lip gloss colorato! Per me è uno dei modi più semplici di creare un look basico ma sofisticato in soli 5 minuti! A voi piace? Buona giornata ;)

I was planning on wearing this outfit when the wheater decided to get windy and cold...so I'll probably need to throw on a cardigan but I I wanted to show you anyway! The main focus in this look is definitely the pants. They're from Zara and they're the pajama kind but when you have them on they look very chic and flowy...so I decided I can pull them off XD For me the print itself is quite busy so I decied not to add other colours to this outfit, and pair them with a black top, black shoes and a black clutch. I think the gold necklace pulls everything together adding a sophisticaed touch! Do you like these kind of pants? I hope you liked the look and I wish you all a nice day!

Stavo pianificando di indossare questo look nel fine settimana, quando improvvisamente il clima si è fatto freddo e ventoso...quindi credo proprio che dovrò aggiungere un bel carigan, ma ci tenevo comunque a mostrarverlo! Il punto centrale di questo look sono i pantaloni, li ho presi da Zara e sono del tipo che ricorda un po' quelli del pigiama, ma in versione chic...almeno così mi sono detta, quando li ho provati in negozio XD Per i miei gusti la stampa dei pantaloni è abbastanza vistosa, quindi ho deciso di non aggiungere altri colori al look, scegliendo di abbinare un top, un paio di scarpe basse e una clutch tutti in nero. La collana dorata rifinisce il tutto, aggiungendo una nota di femminilità. A voi piace questo genere di pantaloni? Spero che il look vi sia piaciuto e vi auguro una buona giornata!

Summer haul

Yesterday before heading to the pool I went for a little shopping trip and I got a few nice pieces that I wanted to share with you guys :) The jewelry it's all from H&M and it was €4.95 for each piece. I got the earrings mainly because of I wanted the knotted ones but the others are kinda cute as well ^^ Then I went to Pull & Bear and found this very bright top on sale for just €7! I think it'll look adorable with shorts!!

Ieri prima di andare in piscina, ho fatto un piccolo giro di shopping e ho preso alcune cose carine che volevo mostrarvi :) Gli accessori sono tutti di H&M e li ho pagati €4,95 l'uno. Ho preso il set di orecchini principalmente per quelli fatti a nodo, ma alla fine anche gli altri non sono male ^^ Poi sono stata da Pull & Bear e ho trovato questo top, dai colori accesi per soli €7, carinissimo da portare con un paio di shorts!!

Ciao a tutti! Anche se vivo a Firenze è raro che ci passi il fine settimana, quindi lo scorso sabato sono stata felicissima di passare un pomeriggio in centro con il mio ragazzo. New York haul - fashion

Hi everyone! So this is my last New York haul post and it's about fashion! For what concerns clothing NYC has a lot to offer and there are so many nice shops that is really hard to choose!! My absolute favorite was definitely J-Crew! I liked every single item in the store from shoes to clothing to accessories; since it's kinda expensive I had to narrow my selection down to the pieces you see in this post (sorry if they are all wrinkly) but believe me it was hard XD I also went to Cosabella store in Soho because I was looking for their Dolce Vita bra, which I finally managed to find! Well Cosabella is an Italian brand but belive it or not I wasn't able to find that particular bra in any of the stores I visited both in Tuscany and Umbria so when I found it in Soho I got it even though it's kinda funny, isn't it? Do you like what I got?

Ciao a tutti! Eccoci all'ultimo post della serie New York Haul, quello dedicato ai vestiti! Per quanto riguarda l'abbigliamento NYC offre davvero un'ampia scelta, così ampia che scegliere diventa difficile!! Il mio negozio preferito in assoluto è stato J-Crew! Mi piace ogni singola cosa che vendono, dagli accessori, alle scarpe, ai vestiti ovviamente. Purtroppo è un po' caro, quindi ho dovuto contenere il mio entusiasmo e ridurre la scelta ai capi che vedete in questo post (scusate se sono tutti pieni di pieghe), ma credetemi, è stata dura XD Sono anche stata al negozio di Cosabella a Soho perchè cercavo il loro reggiseno Dolce Vita e finalmente l'ho trovato!! Beh Cosabella è un marchio italiano, ma anche se sembra assurdo, non sono riuscita a trovare questo modello in nessuno dei negozi dove sono stata in Toscana e Umbria, quindi quando l'ho visto a Soho l'ho preso anche se come cosa fa un po' ridere no? Voi l'avete mai visto in Italia? Vi piacciono le cose che ho preso?
