Hello everyone! Spring is really trying but I don't feel like it's there quite yet...and while I'm hoping to start wearing flowy tops and flats again it looks like I cannot part with my boots a sweater combo!

I like monochromatic looks, they're easy, effortless and you can't definitely go wrong with them and that's what inspired my look. Do you like monochromatic looks as well?

Nonostante i suoi sforzi, devo dire che la Primavera non è ancora arrivata del tutto e mentre io non vedo l'ora di ricominciare a indossare ballerine e top svolazzanti, mi ritrovo con la mia solita uniforme: stivali e maglione! Mi piacciono i look monocromatici, sono facili da portare, possono essere d'effetto e sicuramente non si rischia di sbagliare ed è stata questa l'ispirazione del mio look di oggi. 5 pairs of flats you need in your wardrobe

Don't get me wrong, I love a good pair of heels but flats are just my favourite kind of shoes! They're so comfortable and pretty stylish as well so today I decided to share with you 5 pair of flats that you need to have in your wardrobe! 

Boots - Boots are one the reasons I get excited for Fall and Winter! I wear them every single day and my favourites are those in the picture, super simple, soft leather boots (that is my third pair...). You can wear them with skinny jeans, skirt, dresses...basically with every single piece in your wardrobe. Find a pair that suits your leg and wear them with pants or thights of the same colour to elongate your legs!

Tennis shoes - They're on trend right now but I really enjoy to wear a nice pair of white tennis shoes. My favourites are Adidas Stan Smith but I also love Converse and Superga. So easy and effortless if paired with the right outfit they will give you a cool, edgy look.

Slip-on - These became very popular last year but they've been around for a very long time! Basically is like wearing trainers with no laces, so easy and comfortable. My pair of choice is Vans black leather slip on. The look really cool and the black leather gives them an edgier, dressier vibe.

Ballet flats - To me ballet flats are a true staple and I always get mine from Luca del Forte, they're handmade and you can see and feel the difference, plus they last so well throughout the years! I have them in many different colours and they're always a great choice if you want to look chic!

Loafers - They're similar to ballet flats but they're definitely not the same! The front part is longer and has a different shape. To me they look very chic. My favourites are Charlotty Olimpia kitty flats and Chatelles. I get so much use out of them and since they're not completely flat (they have a tiny, little heel) they're even more comfortable than ballet shoes.

Non fraintendetemi, adoro un bel paio di tacchi ma le scarpe bassse sono decisamente le mie preferite! Sono così comode, versatili e alla moda, così oggi voglio parlarvi di 5 paia di scarpe basse, che secondo me non dovrebbero mai mancare nel nostro guardaroba!

Stivali - Gli stivali sono uno dei motivi per cui non vedo l'ora che arrivi la stagione Autunno/Inverno! Li indosso praticamente ogni giorno e i miei preferiti, sono quelli che vedete in foto: semplicissimi, neri, in morbida pelle (quello è il terzo paio che compro...). Li potete indossare con i jeans, con le gonne, con un vestito...praticamente si abbinano perfettamente con ogni capo che abbiamo nell'armadio. Cercatene un paio che metta in risalto le vostre gambe e portateli con pantaloni o calze dello stesso colore, per far sembrare le gambe più lunghe!

Scarpe da tennis - Al momento sono di gran moda, ma mi è sempre piaicuto porate un bel paio di scarpe da tennis, possibilmente bianche. Le mie preferite sono le Stan Smith di Adidas, ma mi piacciono anche le Converse e le Superga. Sono così facili da indossare e se abbinate nel modo giusto, regalano al vostro look un aspetto cool e moderno.

Slip-on - Queso tipo di scarpa era popolarissimo già lo scorso anno, ma in realtà si vede in giro da un sacco di tempo! Praticamente p come indossare delle scarpe da ginnastica, senza lacci, non male eh?! La mia scelta ricade sulle classiche Vans, nere, in pelle traforata. Sono davvero carine e il fatto di essere nere e di pelle le rende più eleganti e alla moda.

Ballerine - Per me le ballerine sono un vero must, prendo le mie sempre nello stesso posto in Versilia da Luca del Forte. Sono fatte a mano e la differenza si vede, soprattutto nella durabilità, sono scarpe che durano un sacco di anni! Ne ho diversi colori e per sono sempre un'ottima scelta quando voglio indossare qualcosa di comodo e chic.

Mocassini - Sono simili alle ballerine, ma non uguali! La parte davanti è più lunga e di solito hanno un po' di tacco, cosa che li rende ancora più comodi. I miei preferiti sono le Kitty flats di Charlotte Olimpya e quelle di Chatelles. Li uso davvero moltissimo e li trovo super chic.

London shopping guide

 

So when it cames to shopping London can be quite overwhelming so I decided to share with you a mini shopping guide hoping it may came in handy for some of you :)

My main focus when I go shopping in a foreign country is to get products that I can't really get or try where I live. In order to avoid walking a thousand miles to get from one store to another I do my research online to find where I can get the things I'm mostly interested in and where the shops are located so that I can plan my little tour. Then I write down a list of all the things I want to try/buy and leave some space for unespected purchases.

When it comes to clothing my favourite store is definitely Top Shop!  They have an amazing selection of clothes and accessories and the prices are not too high. They also offers a personal shopper service which is completely free, so relax and get ready to experience some fun! & Other Stories is always on my list :) beautiful clothes, shoes, accessories, make-up and skin care in super pretty and sleek packagings. If you're more on a budget London offers you loads of nice stores where you can go crazy without spending a fortune. The king is definitely Primark! I noticed the prices has gone up since last time I went there but they're still pretty cheap. Usually it's very busy and trying on things is not always an option so try to get there quite early to be sure to have some space to look around. Another nice, affordable store is Monki, a swedish brand, where you can find lots of fun colorful pieces! Don't forget to check out New Look and Forever21 where you can find a endless amount of clothes and accessories inspired by the most popular brands but at an afforable price.

London offers you a wide selection of American brands that in the last few years opened their first stores in Europe. We're more on the expensive side here, but in my opinion they're worth it! I'm talking about Anthropology, J. Crew and Victoria's Secret! If you've been to the States you'll know what I'm talking about and let me tell you: they're awesome stores!

Talking about department stores I have to mention my absolute favourites. Harrods is a place you just don't wanna miss! My favourite part is actually they're food hall, just awesome. Liberty's is my mom's favourite and yes, mine as well. It's a gorgeous store and has the best beauty hall ever. There you can find brands such as Hourglass, Shu Uemura and Bobbi Brown. Last one I'm going to mention is Selfridges, I love they're yellow bags :D This department store is massive and the beauty section is incredible! They also have Charlotte Tilbury's products which are awesome!

Last but not least I'm going to mention a few make-up stores. Space Nk is a just heaven if you love make-up, they have an incredible selection of unique brands in sleek, elegant shelves. Boots and Superdrug are the most popular and there you can find very affordable brands such as BerryM (awesome nail polishes), Soap & Glory, Revlon, Rimmel, Sleek, Real Tecnique, N°7, together with a massive amount of body care, hair care, etc. From time to time they do discounts or give you coupons, which is always nice.

Quando si parla di shopping a Londra, diciamo che è facile venire sopraffatti dalla quantità di negozi che ci sono. Per questo ho deciso di mettere insieme una piccola guida allo shopping che magari potrà essere utile a qualcuno di voi, se avete in programma una gita fuori porta :)

Quando vado all'estero, generalmente concentro la mia attenzione sui prodotti che non trovo o non posso provare dove vivo. Per evitare di ritrovarmi a fare chilometri per andare da un posto all'altro alla ricerca di un particolare prodotto, prima di partire faccio una ricerca online per vedere dove sono i negozi che mi interessano e per poter pianificare il mio piccolo tour. A questo punto faccio una lista delle cose che voglio prendere, lasciando un po' di posto per cose che potrei non aver pianificato.

Parlando di abbigliamento, il negozio che preferisco è sicuramente Top Shop!  Hanno una selezione di abiti e accessori davvero pazzesca e i prezzi non sono malissimo. In alcuni negozi offrono anche un serivizio, completamente gratuito, di personal shopper quindi non ci rimane che rilassarci e goderci la nostra shopping experience! & Other Stories è un altro dei miei negozi preferiti :) vestiti carinissimi, accessori, scarpe, trucchi e prodotti viso/corpo in confezioni minimal, davvero deliziose. Se avete un budget limitato, Londra offre un numero infinito di negozi carinissimi, dove potete darvi alla pazza gioia senza spendere una fortuna. Il migliore è decisamente Primark! Rispetto all'ultima volta che ci ero stata, ho notato che i prezzi sono un po' aumentati, ma sono comunque economici. Di solito è un negozio molto frequentato e provarsi le cose non è sempre possibile a meno che non vogliate affrontare lunghissime code, il mio consiglio quindi è di andarci presto la mattina per poter avere una chance di non trovarci la classica ressa. Un'altro negozio carino e a prezzi accessibili è  Monki, catena svedese, dove troverete moltissimi capi di abbigliamento divertenti e colorati! Non dimenticate poi di passare da New Look e Forever21 dove si trova una quantità infinita di vestiti e accessori ispirati a quelli di marchi famosi, ma a prezzi contenuti.

Londra offre inoltre una vasta selezione di catene americane, che recentemente hanno aperto i loro primi punti vendita europei. Ovviamente qui si parla di negozi più costosi ma a mio avviso vale la pena farci un salto. Sto parlando di Anthropology, J. Crew e Victoria's Secret! Se siete stati in America saprete benissimo perchè li adoro e lasciate che ve lo dica sono fantastici!

Parlando invece di Grandi magazzini, visto che ce ne sono davvero moltissimi, mi limiterò a parlarvi dei miei preferiti. E il primo è Harrods, una meta davvero irrinunciabile! La mia sezione preferita è quella dedicata al cibo, un vero sogno. Liberty's è il preferito di mia mamma e sì, vi confesso che è anche il mio. E' un posto stupendo e la sua sezione beauty è davvero unica. Troverete tra i tanti marchi disponibili Hourglass, Shu Uemura e Bobbi Brown. L'ultimo che menzionerò è Selfridges. Come si fa a non adorare le loro buste gialle? E' un Grande magazzino davero enorme, dove si trova di tutto specialmente i marchi più costosti e anche qui la sezione beauty è molto fornita. Tra i marchi disponibili vi segnalo Charlotte Tilbury's, bellissime confezioni e prodotti di qualità!

Per finire vi segnalo alcune profumerie. Space Nk è il paradiso di ogni make-up lover, i suoi scaffali minimal e ordinatissimi, sono pieni di prodotti unici e alcuni di questi sono difficili da trovare altrove. Boots e Superdrug sono invece i negozi più diffusi, dove troverete un sacco di marche a basso costo come BerryM (famosa per gli smalti), Soap & Glory, Revlon, Rimmel, Sleek, Real Tecnique, N°7, oltre ad una quantità incredibile di prodotti per corpo, capelli, ecc. A volte fanno delle promozioni oppure vi danno dei coupon, che è sempre cosa gradita.

From London with love

Hello everyone! So the past week was insane...in a good way though! My bf surprised my with a mini trip to London :D It was intense but so much fun and eventhough we ended up being exausted we had a lovely time there! I have so many friends who lives in London and some family too and it was quite a challenge to arrange meetings to meet them all but we tried XD I've been to London sooo many times but every single one is a different experience. So much has changed since my last visit and it was really interesting to absorb all these new vibes. We tried to do and see as much as we could and of course I did some shopping (oh God!). Let me tell you, shopping in London is the ultimate experience!! Btw I'll be sharing more about my trip in the next posts so keep you're eyes peeled for that! Have a lovely day ;)

Ciao a tutti! La scorsa settimana è stata folle...ma in maniera decisamente positiva! Il mio ragazzo mi ha fatto una sorpresa, portandomi a Londra per un paio di giorni :D Diciamo che è stata un'esperienza intensa ma davvero bellissima e anche se siamo tornati esausti ci siamo divertiti un mondo! Ho un sacco di amici che vivono a Londra e anche qualche parente, quindi è stata davvero una sfida cercare di organizzare incontri con tutti, ma almeno ci abbiamo provato XD Sono stata a Londra davvero un sacco di volte, ma devo dire che ogni volta è un'esperienza diversa. Sono cambiate così tante cose dall'ultima volta che ci ero stata e assorbere tutte queste nuove vibrazioni è stato interessante e rigenerante. Durante la nostra permanenza, abbiamo cercato di fare e vedere il più possibile e ovviamente ho fatto anche un po' di shopping. Laciate che ve lo dica, fare shopping a Londra è un'esperienza unica!! Cut out boots

The other day I was in Zara giving a look to their new stuff when I spotted these boots. I decided to try them on just to see how I like them...and well long story short I brought them home with me! I like the chain on the front, the cut outs and the buckles on the side. To me they're still kinda classic Chelsea boots but with a twist. I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of them and they're comfortable too which is always something I look for in a shoe. You can find them here if you're interested ;) Do you like them?

L'altro giorno ero da Zara e stavo dando un'occhiata alle nuove collezioni quando ho visto questi stivali. Ho deciso di provarli, così tanto per vedere come mi stavano e insomma per farvela breve...li ho portati a casa come me! Mi piacciono molto le catene davanti, i tagli e le fibbie di lato. Sono un paio di classici Chelsea boots ma con un qualcosa in più e penso che li sfrutterò parecchio, inoltre sembrano piuttosto comodi e questo è sempre qualcosa che apprezzo in un paio di scarpe. It all started with Balenciaga and this A/W they're everywhere! I'm talking about cut out boots of course! At first I wasn't sure if they were my cup of tea but after a little research I came across these lovely booties from New Look. They are just perfect: quite girly but still edgy, they have a comfortable heel plus they're cheap (€ 29.99) and they goes with everything! I like them a lot :) Do you like these kind of boots?

Tutto è cominciato con Balenciaga e questa stagione A/I sono dappertutto! Ovviamente sto parlando dei cut out boots! All'inizio non ero sicura che si adattassero al mio stile, ma dopo alcune ricerche ho trovato questi deliziosi stivaletti di New Look. Sono perfetti per me: abbastanza femminili ma con un tocco stravagante, hanno un tacco comodissimo e in più costano poco (€ 29,99). Poi sono neri, quindi vanno con tutto! Li adoro :) A voi piace questo tipo di stivali?

Hello everyone! How was your day? I spent it at my boyfriend's studying...which kinda sucks XD but you know...things has to be done! Btw we went out to run some errands and this is what I decided to wear: my favourite owl shirt from Zara, my black boots...which I'm obssessed with...you know...and my lovely bag from Zara as well! It's so roomy I can fit my whole world in it and I did...just so you know XD

Ciao a tutti! Come avete passato la giornata? Io l'ho passata a casa del mio ragazzo a studiare...che non è il massimo XD ma lo sappiamo...certe cose non si possono evitare! Comunque nel tardo pomeriggio siamo usciti per delle comissioni e questo è quello che ho scelto di indossare: la mia camicia preferita di Zara con le civette, i miei stivali neri...per i quali probabilmente avrete notato, che ho una leggerissima ossessione...e la mia borsa, anche questa di Zara! E' davvero spaziosa, ci si può infilare dentro il mondo e io ovviamente l'ho fatto...giusto per farvi sapere che pesa giù una tonnellata XD
