July favourites

Hello everyone! Another month has gone by...I'm talking about July even though here it looks more like November! I really hope summer will decide to show up at some point but with no further ado let's jump right into my July favourites!

HAIR

I'm a big fan of Garnier Ultra Dolce line and when I see a new product I'm always tempted to try it out! That's what happened when I saw this conditioner. It has no parabens, contains honey, royal jelly and propolis and smells just delicious! It's rich butit doesn't weight down your hair! Highly recommended ;)

BODY

I'm obsessed with Liberty's rose and lemond rind body lotion! It smells like a dream, very fresh and zesty. The texture is light and absorbs so quickly leaving a lovely scent behind. Plus the bottle is huge and the pump is really convenient.

MAKE-UP

This month I started using a new mascara: Bobbi Brown smokey eye mascara. I love it, it has a nice brush that really separates your lashes. The final look is natural and very pretty! For my eyes I'd been loving Mac eye pencil in Coffee, a dark brown. It's nice to use instead of black and it blends quite easily creating a cool, smokey effect. For lips my favourite product was again from Mac, I'm talking about Peach Blossom! It's a cremesheen, so it's quite sheer but gives your lips a lovely peachy tint that I really like!

NAILS

As you can see I got my first Formula X nail polish. These are so rave about online and I was curious to see if they were really so amazing. I picked out a minty shade called Unmistakable and it's so pretty!! It's quite long lasting and even though I'm not blown away I like these nail polishes and I'm curious to try more from this range!

FRAGRANCE
After many years I've been reunited with my favourite perfume of all times! I'm talking about Stella by Stella McCartney. This launched in early 2000 but luckily for me it's still around! It's definitely a floral fragrance, with a hint of rose and amber. I found it very feminine and I'm so glad I have it in my collection again :)

RANDOM

This month I've been obsessed with midi rings! I think they're very cute and frame your hand really nicely. Those in the picture are from H&M and Brandy Melville. I also love pairing my midi rings with a rose gold beaded bracelet found in Bruges!

Ciao a tutti! Un altro mese è finito...e sì sto parlando di Luglio, anche se da quese parti sembra più Novembre! Spero davvero che l'estate decida di farsi viva prima o poi! Ma senza ulteriore indugio, andiamo a scoprire quali sono stati i miei prodotti preferti del mese!

CAPELLI

Adoro la linea Ultra Dolce di Garnier e quando esce un nuovo prodotto, sono sempre curiosa di provarlo! Infatti è andata proprio così con il balsamo Tesori di miele. Non contiene parabeni ed è a base di miele, pappa reale e propoli, quindi come potete immaginare ha un profumo delizioso! È nutriente senza appesantire i capelli, ve lo consiglio assolutamente ;)

CORPO

Sono fissata con la crema per il corpo rose and lemond rind di Liberty! Ha un profumo buonissimo, è fresca e sa di agrumi. La consistenza è leggerissima, infatti si assorbe davvero in fretta, lasciando sulla pelle il suo delizioso profumo. Inoltre la confezione è enorme e il dispensatore è comodissimo.

MAKE-UP

Questo mese ho iniziato ad usare un nuovo mascara, il Bobbi Brown smokey eye mascara. Lo adoro, l'applicatore separa le ciglia e le fa apparire più lunghe. Il risultato finale a mio avviso è carinissimo e molto naturale! Per gli occhi ho usato molto la matita di Mac nel colore Coffee, un marrone scuro. È un'ottima alternativa al nero e si sfuma benissimo, quindi è perfetta per creare un leggero effetto smokey. Per le labbra il mio rossetto preferito, è un altro prodotto Mac e si tratta di Peach Blossom! Appartiene alla linea cremesheen, quindi non è troppo intenso ma dona alle labbra una deliziosa tinta sul pesca!

NAILS

Come potete vedere ho preso il mio primo smalto della line Formula X, uscita di recente anche da Sephora in Italia (e online). Dopo averne sentito parlare benissimo sul web, ero davvero curiosa di provarli per vedere cosa avessero di così speciale questi smalti. Il colore che ho scelto si chiama Unmistakable, ed è un bellissimo verde menta. Il vero pregio di questi smalti (o almeno di questo che ho provato) è che durano molto, senza scheggiarsi. Niente di trascendentale, ma sono carini e ci sono moltissimi colori, quindi penso che prima poi allargherò la mia collezione! 

PROFUMO
Dopo parecchi anni, finalmente sono riuscita a rimettere le mani, sul mio profumo preferito! Sto parlando di Stella by Stella McCartney. Questo profumo è uscito nei primi anni del 2000, ma fotunamente per me è ancora in giro! La fragranza è decisamente floreale, con note di rosa e ambra. Lo trovo un profumo molto femminile e sono davvero felice di averlo di nuovo nella mia collezione :)

RANDOM

Questo mese la mia fissa sono stati i midi rings! Li trovo carinissimi e un ottimo modo di impreziosire le mani. Quelli nella foto sono di H&M e Brandy Melville. Li ho abbinati al mio bracciale preferito trovato a Bruges!

Eh sì l'Estate è arrivata e io non vedo l'ora di andare in vacanza! A dire il vero quest'anno non ho ancora prenotato niente (...ops-_-'') ma conto di rimediare prestissimo e nel frattempo sogno vestiti svolazzanti, espadrillas e grandi borse dove infilare tutto il necessario per un viaggio fantastico!!

Liberty London goodie bag

Hello there :) Today I want to quickly share with you this awesome goodie bag I got from Liberty London...yep I spent so much money to deserve a goodie bag XD but let's just ignore that and focus on what's inside!! I got a nice Liberty's make-up bag which is in a nice water resisten material and it's big enough to fit all of my mak-up. Inside the goodie bag there was a full size body lotion in rose and lemon rind and the matching soap. I also got a sample of Sisley black rose cream mask, which promise to smooth, plump and brighten your complexion, sounds nice, ah? I altready gave this a go and it's amazing the only problem with Sisley products is they're very expensive so I don't think I'll buy the full size. Moving on I got a Lipslique (yes it's spelled like this) from Surratt a brand exclusive to Liberty, in the colour Chu-Choter a gorgeous pink. Next I found a mini Hourglass mineral primer, which I can't wait to try and a Trish McEvoy eye base essentials. The last three products are all full size and they're Eve Lom Radiance perfected flawless primer, Nars blush in Orgasm and Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara in black. Looks like I have lots of testing to do and I'll report back on these products soon so stay tuned for that! I hope you enjoyed the post and I wish you all an awesome day!!

Ciao :) Oggi voglio mostrarvi la favolosa goodie bag che ho avuto da Liberty a Londra...sì ho speso talmente tanto da meritarmi la goodie bag XD ma ignoriamo questo dettaglio e vediamo cosa c'era al suo interno!! La prima cosa è una carinissima trousse del marchio Libery, fatta in materiale resistente all'acqua e quindi facile da tenere pulita, è grande abbastanza per contenere tutti i miei trucchi. Poi c'era un bottiglione gigante di crema per il corpo nella fragranza Rosa e buccia di limone e la saponetta abbinata. Mi hanno dato anche una maschera alla rosa nera di Sisley, che promette di rendere la pelle liscia, nutrita e illuminata...niente male eh? L'ho provata e posso dirvi che mantiene le promesse anche se purtroppo, il prezzo per la confezione grande è davvero proibitivo. Un altro prodotto all'interno della goodie bag è il rossetto Lipslique (sì, si scrive proprio così) di Surratt, un marchio che si trova in esclusiva da Libery, nel colore Chu-Choter, un bellissmo rosa. Poi ho trovato un primer minerale di Hourglass, che non vedo l'ora di provare e una base occhi d Trish McEvoy. Gli ultimi tre prodotti sono tutti full-size e sono il Radiance perfected flawless primer di Eve Lom, il blush di Nars Orgasm e il mascara Smokey Eye di Bobbi Brown. Una goodie bag niente male, non pensate anche voi? A quanto pare avrò un sacco di nuovi prodotti da testare e ovviamente vi faro sapere cosa nei penso nei futuri post, quindi tornate a trovarmi. London shopping guide

 

So when it cames to shopping London can be quite overwhelming so I decided to share with you a mini shopping guide hoping it may came in handy for some of you :)

My main focus when I go shopping in a foreign country is to get products that I can't really get or try where I live. In order to avoid walking a thousand miles to get from one store to another I do my research online to find where I can get the things I'm mostly interested in and where the shops are located so that I can plan my little tour. Then I write down a list of all the things I want to try/buy and leave some space for unespected purchases.

When it comes to clothing my favourite store is definitely Top Shop!  They have an amazing selection of clothes and accessories and the prices are not too high. They also offers a personal shopper service which is completely free, so relax and get ready to experience some fun! & Other Stories is always on my list :) beautiful clothes, shoes, accessories, make-up and skin care in super pretty and sleek packagings. If you're more on a budget London offers you loads of nice stores where you can go crazy without spending a fortune. The king is definitely Primark! I noticed the prices has gone up since last time I went there but they're still pretty cheap. Usually it's very busy and trying on things is not always an option so try to get there quite early to be sure to have some space to look around. Another nice, affordable store is Monki, a swedish brand, where you can find lots of fun colorful pieces! Don't forget to check out New Look and Forever21 where you can find a endless amount of clothes and accessories inspired by the most popular brands but at an afforable price.

London offers you a wide selection of American brands that in the last few years opened their first stores in Europe. We're more on the expensive side here, but in my opinion they're worth it! I'm talking about Anthropology, J. Crew and Victoria's Secret! If you've been to the States you'll know what I'm talking about and let me tell you: they're awesome stores!

Talking about department stores I have to mention my absolute favourites. Harrods is a place you just don't wanna miss! My favourite part is actually they're food hall, just awesome. Liberty's is my mom's favourite and yes, mine as well. It's a gorgeous store and has the best beauty hall ever. There you can find brands such as Hourglass, Shu Uemura and Bobbi Brown. Last one I'm going to mention is Selfridges, I love they're yellow bags :D This department store is massive and the beauty section is incredible! They also have Charlotte Tilbury's products which are awesome!

Last but not least I'm going to mention a few make-up stores. Space Nk is a just heaven if you love make-up, they have an incredible selection of unique brands in sleek, elegant shelves. Boots and Superdrug are the most popular and there you can find very affordable brands such as BerryM (awesome nail polishes), Soap & Glory, Revlon, Rimmel, Sleek, Real Tecnique, N°7, together with a massive amount of body care, hair care, etc. From time to time they do discounts or give you coupons, which is always nice.

Quando si parla di shopping a Londra, diciamo che è facile venire sopraffatti dalla quantità di negozi che ci sono. Per questo ho deciso di mettere insieme una piccola guida allo shopping che magari potrà essere utile a qualcuno di voi, se avete in programma una gita fuori porta :)

Quando vado all'estero, generalmente concentro la mia attenzione sui prodotti che non trovo o non posso provare dove vivo. Per evitare di ritrovarmi a fare chilometri per andare da un posto all'altro alla ricerca di un particolare prodotto, prima di partire faccio una ricerca online per vedere dove sono i negozi che mi interessano e per poter pianificare il mio piccolo tour. A questo punto faccio una lista delle cose che voglio prendere, lasciando un po' di posto per cose che potrei non aver pianificato.

Parlando di abbigliamento, il negozio che preferisco è sicuramente Top Shop!  Hanno una selezione di abiti e accessori davvero pazzesca e i prezzi non sono malissimo. In alcuni negozi offrono anche un serivizio, completamente gratuito, di personal shopper quindi non ci rimane che rilassarci e goderci la nostra shopping experience! & Other Stories è un altro dei miei negozi preferiti :) vestiti carinissimi, accessori, scarpe, trucchi e prodotti viso/corpo in confezioni minimal, davvero deliziose. Se avete un budget limitato, Londra offre un numero infinito di negozi carinissimi, dove potete darvi alla pazza gioia senza spendere una fortuna. Il migliore è decisamente Primark! Rispetto all'ultima volta che ci ero stata, ho notato che i prezzi sono un po' aumentati, ma sono comunque economici. Di solito è un negozio molto frequentato e provarsi le cose non è sempre possibile a meno che non vogliate affrontare lunghissime code, il mio consiglio quindi è di andarci presto la mattina per poter avere una chance di non trovarci la classica ressa. Un'altro negozio carino e a prezzi accessibili è  Monki, catena svedese, dove troverete moltissimi capi di abbigliamento divertenti e colorati! Non dimenticate poi di passare da New Look e Forever21 dove si trova una quantità infinita di vestiti e accessori ispirati a quelli di marchi famosi, ma a prezzi contenuti.

Londra offre inoltre una vasta selezione di catene americane, che recentemente hanno aperto i loro primi punti vendita europei. Ovviamente qui si parla di negozi più costosi ma a mio avviso vale la pena farci un salto. Sto parlando di Anthropology, J. Crew e Victoria's Secret! Se siete stati in America saprete benissimo perchè li adoro e lasciate che ve lo dica sono fantastici!

Parlando invece di Grandi magazzini, visto che ce ne sono davvero moltissimi, mi limiterò a parlarvi dei miei preferiti. E il primo è Harrods, una meta davvero irrinunciabile! La mia sezione preferita è quella dedicata al cibo, un vero sogno. Liberty's è il preferito di mia mamma e sì, vi confesso che è anche il mio. E' un posto stupendo e la sua sezione beauty è davvero unica. Troverete tra i tanti marchi disponibili Hourglass, Shu Uemura e Bobbi Brown. L'ultimo che menzionerò è Selfridges. Come si fa a non adorare le loro buste gialle? E' un Grande magazzino davero enorme, dove si trova di tutto specialmente i marchi più costosti e anche qui la sezione beauty è molto fornita. Tra i marchi disponibili vi segnalo Charlotte Tilbury's, bellissime confezioni e prodotti di qualità!

Per finire vi segnalo alcune profumerie. Space Nk è il paradiso di ogni make-up lover, i suoi scaffali minimal e ordinatissimi, sono pieni di prodotti unici e alcuni di questi sono difficili da trovare altrove. Boots e Superdrug sono invece i negozi più diffusi, dove troverete un sacco di marche a basso costo come BerryM (famosa per gli smalti), Soap & Glory, Revlon, Rimmel, Sleek, Real Tecnique, N°7, oltre ad una quantità incredibile di prodotti per corpo, capelli, ecc. A volte fanno delle promozioni oppure vi danno dei coupon, che è sempre cosa gradita.
