Kerrie Hess for Ladurée

 

Who doesn't love Ladurée? Well I certainly do and I love to collect their little Ladurée boxes and keep them on display in my room. So when I heard the brand is coming out with a new design in collaboration with Kerrie Hess I was very excited! Kerrie Hess is an extremely talented (and well known) Australian illustrator, her works had been featured in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Talter to mention a few and she collaborated with brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Kate Spade. Basically I'm pretty sure you have seen her works somewhere. I adore the fresh, springy, pastel colors she used to illustrate these limited edition Ladurée boxes and I can't wait to grab them all!! The collection will be available in Ladurée stores by the end of April. Do you like it? Which one is your favourite?

Chi non adora le scatoline colorate di Ladurée? Un vero sogno per i golosi e per chi, come me, apprezza l'estetica e la cura dei dettagli. In camera mia ho una vera propria collezione di queste famose scatoline, specialmente le edizioni limitate che sono sempre bellissime. Potrete quindi immaginare la mia felicità quando ho saputo che Kerrie Hess avrebbe collaborato con il marchio. Per chi non lo sapesse, Kerrie Hess è una famosissima e talentuosa illustratrice Australiana le cui illustrazioni sono apparse su riviste come Vogue, Harper's Bazaar e Talter (per citarne alcuni) e ha collaborato con marchi prestigiosissimi, quali Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Kate Spade e via dicendo. Insomma sono sicura che avrete visto le sue illustrazioni da qualche parte! Adoro i colori pastello e lo stile fresco e primaverile che ha scelto per illustrate le scatoline di Ladurée! Saranno disponibili nei negozi Ladurée alla fine di Aprile! Nars Audacious Lipsticks

Nars came out with a new range of lipsticks and they reformulated them as well. I'm talking about their new Audacious lipsticks and I have to say I'm in love! You already heard me talk about them here and there on the blog but I thought they deserved their own spot! There are lots of different shades and everyone of them is named after a woman. The texture is very creamy but super pigmented and has an incredible lasting power. I got two shades, Vera which is a raspberry pink and Ingrid which is a dark burgundy colour. Ingrid is limited edition exclusive to  Barneys and Selfridges. The packaging is very luxurious as well, it's a sleek, black bullet with a magnetic cap. They're on the pricey side (around 30 euros) but to me they're totally worth the splurge and with Christmas just round the corner, they'll make the perfect gift for a make-up addict friend or for yorself of course! Not all the colour performs the same so if you have the chanche I'd recommend you to go to the store and swatch them! You can find them online or in selected Sephora stores! La Nars ha recentemente lanciato una nuova linea di rossetti che hanno una nuova formulazione rispetto al passato. Sto parlando degli Audacious Lipsticks e devo dire che li adoro! Probabilmente me ne avete già sentito parlare qui sul blog, ma mi piacciono talmente tanto, che ho pensato meritassero un post tutto per loro! Ci sono moltissimi colori diversi e ogniuno ha il nome di una donna. La texture è molto cremosa ed estremamente pigmentata, garantendo una durata degna di nota. Io ho due colori, Vera un bellissimo colore lampone e Ingrid un rosso borgona scuro. Ingrid è un colore in edizione limitata, in vendita in esclusiva da Barneys e Selfridges. Anche la confezione è lussuosa, nera, molto minimale e con la chiusura a calamita. Questi rossetti sono decisamente costosi (30 euro l'uno), ma secondo me vale la pena provarli e visto che Natale si avvicina, potete metterli nella vostra wish list o regalarli ad un'amica appassionata di make-up! Non tutti i colori sono validi, quindi se ne avete la possibilità, vi consiglio di passare in negozio e provarli, per trovare quello che fa per voi! Li trovate online o in selezionati negozi Sephora! As we all know I love my minis and when I received a coupon to get this set I was super excited! This is a mini set from L'Occitane in collaboration with Elle, the illustration are from Soledad. In the set you get four mini hand creams (almond, cherry blossom, shea butter and verbena), a nail file and the super cute poch! È un mini set che L'Occitane ha fatto in collaborazione con Elle e con le illustrazioni di Soledad. Al suo interno trovate, oltre alla deliziosa pochette, quattro mini creme per le mani (mandorle, fiori di ciliegio, burro di karité e verbena) e una lima per le unghie! Hello everyone! Last month I got this beautiful set from Nars for Guy Bourdin collection. I'm sure you all know him or heard his name before, Guy Bourdin was a very famous and talented French fashion photographer, his works were provocative, shocking, quite sexy yet surreal. I personally love his photos so I decided to get this set from Nars. I really like the make-up bag and inside you get 5 lip pencils in different colors and finishes. I like Nars lip pencils and this is a nice way to try them out :) This collection is limited edition and you can find it online or at your local Sephora and Nars counters! Do you like it? Ciao a tutti! Il mese scorso ho preso questo bellissimo set della collezione Nars per Guy Boudrin. Sono sicura che lo conoscete già o che quanto meno ne avrete sentito parlare. Guy Boudrin era un famoso e talentuoso fotografo di moda, francese. I suoi lavori erano provocatori, scioccanti, piuttosto sexy ma con un qualcosa di surreale. Personalmente adoro le sue fotografie, quindi quando ho visto la collezione non ho resistito e ho dovuto prendere qualcosa. Ho scelto questa trousse che contiene 5 matite-rossetto per labbra in 5 colori e finiture diverse. Trovo che le matite per labbra di Nars siano ottime e questo è un ottimo modo per provarle :) Questa collezione è un'edizione limitata, quindi se vi piace vi consiglio di non pensarci troppo!
