5 tips for last minute Christmas shoppers

We've all been there...last minute Christmas shopping is a total nightmare but it happens so here are my five tips to survive

1. Avoid Malls and shopping centers

Basically they became a war field so unless you have no other choice, try to avoid going there. Instead go to your local shopping area, I'm sure you'll find lots of little shops, not as busy, where you can take your time to pick the right gift!

2. Get a gift card

If you don't know what to get to your friends and relatives, I'm sure you know where they like to shop. So get them a giftt card from their favourite store! I won't be an original gift but it will be appreciated for sure!

3. Candles and home scents

There are so many gorgeous candles and home scents out there, that you can't really go wrong and let's face it, who doesn't want their home to smell nice?! I personally love Diptyque (Jasmin, Figue and Baies are my favourites), Byredo (they released a Christmas collection which is insane) and Neom.

4. DIY

A handmade present is always nice to recive and even though it's ast minute you will get away with it! You can bake some cookiesvand wrap them nicely. Check out Pinterest, you'll find lots of ideas and different recipes. Depending on your crafting skills you can really get creative and make candles, soap, homemade drinks and create the cutest yet unique gift ever.

5. Books and magazine subscriptions

If you love reading I'm sure you already know what to get but if you're not so familiar with the prefrences of the person you're buying for you should opt for a illustrated book, a city guide, Louis Vuitton made some amazing one there are not too expensive or a magazine subscription. This is something I rearely get for myself but I would love to get!

Ci siamo passati tutti...lo shopping natalizio dell'ultimo minuto, può diventare un vero incubo! Per questo motivo ho deciso di condividere con voi 5 consigli, che non risolveranno il problema, ma renderanno le cose più semplici!!

1. Evitate i centri commerciali e i grandi magazzini

In questi ultimi giorni, diventano dei veri e propri campi di battaglia, quindi vi consiglio di evitarli se potete. Andate invece a fare un giro per i negozietti della vostra zona, sono sicura che rimarrete sorpresi da quante cose carine troverete e soprattutto eviterete le grandi folle!

2. Prendete una carta regalo

Se proprio non sapete cosa regalare a quell'amico o parente, sono sicura che almeno conoscerete un paio dei suoi negozi preferiti. Quindi prendetegli una carta regalo, non sarà il regalo più originale del mondo, ma sarà sicuramente apprezzato!

3. Candele e fragranze per ambienti

Ci sono tantissime opzioni in questa categoria e per tutte le tasche, inoltre a chi non piace avere una casa che profuma di buono?! Personalmente le mie marche preferite sono Diptyque (Jasmin, Figue e Baies sono le mie profumazioni preferite), Byredo (la collezione natalizia è stupenda) e Neom.

4. Fai da te

Un regalo fatto a mano è sempre apprezzato e d è un'ottima opzione se vi ritrovate all'ultimo minuto! Per esempio potete fare dei biscotti e dare sfogo alla creatività per creare una deliziosa confezione natalizia. Provate a dare un'occhiata su Pinterest, troverete mille idee e tantissime ricette per prendere spunto. A seconda delle vostre abilità potete davvero fare di tutto, candele, saponi, bevande fatte in case e creare un regalo davvero unico.

5. Libri e abbinamenti alle riviste

Se vi piace leggere, sono sicura che vi saranno già venute in mente mille opzioni, ma se non conoscete bene i gusti letterari della persona per la quale state comprando il regalo, la cosa migliore è di buttarsi su un libro illustrato o una guida, Louis Vuitton ne ha fatto una serie bellissima e nemmeno troppo costosa. Altrimenti optate per l'abbonamente ad una rivista, se conoscete i gusti della persona non sarà difficile ed è una di quelle cose che difficilmente ci si concede, ma secondo me è un regalo carinissimo.

Summer is the perfect time to get together with your friends and spend some quality time outside, so today I decided to share with you my inspiration board to throw the perfect pool party because...well, they're my favorites! When it's hot outside there's nothing more satisfying than being in a pool right?! Well you can add some Flamingo floats and it can't really get any cooler than that! You need some music of course and a little something like Sunny Life Beach Sounds is just great, it looks (and is) like a vintage radio from outside but when you flip it open you'll find a jack to hook up your portable music player or phone. As far as decor goes I recommend you hang a few paper lanterns, because they're inexpensive and so chic, plus when it starts to get dark you can lit them on for a very soft, chilled effect. To keep this vibe you can add some fun candles here and there, the more the better and you can really get creative, choosing some fun shapes or colors like those you see in my inspiration board shaped like pineapples and flamingos. To entertain your guests you should get one of those underwater disposable (or not) cameras, so that your friends can take photos in the pool and it'll be awesome to watch them together. Talking about food and drinks the possibilities are endless but if you need any just go on Pinterest, I'm sure you'll find what you need. Of course you got to have Popsicles and ice cream, as well as fresh fruit, lemonade, iced tea and maybe some cocktails for later. I personally love to take care of every single aspect of the organization of this kind of events and I think it's really cool to send your guests an invitation. A website like Paperless Post has such an amazing choice of invitations with unique, fun designs that you can customize to suit your taste. You should absolutely check their website and I'm sure you'll find something you like. Are you excited for my pool party? Well I definitely am!!

L'estate è il momento perfetto per riunirsi con gli amici all'aperto, così oggi voglio condividere con voi la mia inspiration board per organizzare un party in piscina! Quando è caldo non c'è niente di meglio che fare un bel bagno rinfrescante e anche se non siamo più bambini, i gonfiabili a forma di animale sono sempre gettonatissimi. Il mio preferito è quello a forma di fenicottero. Ovviamente ci vuole un po' di musica per intrattenere i vostri ospiti e un oggetto come la radio di ispirazione vintage di Sunny Life è perfetto. È una radio dall'aspetto retrò ma al suo interno contiene jack al quale potete collegare un lettore mp3 portatile o un cellulare e riprodurre le vostre canzoni preferite. Come decorazioni vi consiglio di utilizzare le lanterne di carta, che costano poco, sono carinissime e quando cala la sera offrono un punto luce soft, non troppo invasivo. Oltre a quello vi consiglio di utilizzare le candele, magari di forme e colori divertenti, come quelle a forma di ananas o fenicottero che vedete nell'immagine sopra. Un'idea carina per intrattenere i vostri ospiti potrebbe essere quella di procurarvi una macchinetta fotografica subacquea, anche di quelle usa e getta, i vostri amici si divertiranno a scattare foto in piscina, che poi potrete riguardare insieme. Per quanto riguarda cibo e bevande, non c'è che da sbizzarrirsi e un'ottima fonte d'ispirazione per trovare ricette di tutti i tipi è Pinterest. Direi che i ghiaccioli o gelato non devono mai mancare, così come frutta fresca e bevande rinfrescanti, limonata, thé freddo e magari qualche cocktail per l'aperitivo. Personalmente amo curare ogni singolo aspetto di questo genere di occasioni e trovo carina l'idea di mandare un invito cartaceo ai partecipanti. Un sito come Paperless Post offre una vastissima scelta di inviti per ogni occasione e vi permetterà di trovare quello che fa per voi. Sarà che ho una gran voglia di andare in vacanza ma non vedo l'ora di partecipare alla mia festa in piscina e voi?

Fall candles

I'm a candle lover and when Fall comes around I like to grab a couple new candles to set up the mood for the season. My favourite brand is Bath & Body Works and I decided to pick up two of their Mason Jar Candles. I got Leaves which is one of my all times favourites and I also got Cider Lane which smells just like apple cider and cinnamon!! So tell me guys do you like candles? Which one is your favourite?

Adoro le candele e quando arriva l'autunno ne aggiungo sempre un paio alla mia collezione, giusto per mettermi nello spirito della stagione. La mia marca preferita è Bath & Body Works e le candele che ho scelto sono della linea Mason Jar. Bath and Body works and NYX haul

Hi everyone!! During Fall I'm totally obsessed with burning candles and Bath and Body Works has an amazing selection! Unfortunately their brand is very difficult to find outside the US but I managed to find a retailer in the Uk and I decided to stock up on some of their products! The candles are amazing!! I have one more coming up and a couple of poket hand sanitizers but they're not here yet! Btw my favourite candles in this bunch is Pumpkin Cupcake, it smells just like Fall!! I also got a couple of NYX products :) I love, love, love their products and look how cute the packaging is!! Do you like candles? What is your favourite scent for Fall?

Ciao a tutti! Durante l'autunno amo accendere delle candele profumate nella mia stanza e Bath and Body Works ha una scelta di fragranze davvero incredibile! Purtroppo i loro prodotti sono molti difficili da reperire fuori dall'America, ma ho trovato un negozio online in Inghilterra che tiene alcuni dei loro prodotti! Le candele sono fantastiche!! Ne ho ordinate altre, insieme ad alcuni gel anti-batterici in versione tascabile, ma non sono ancora arrivati! Comunque la mia candela preferita, tra quelle che ho preso, è sicuramente Pumpkin Cupcake, profuma proprio d'autunno!! Ho preso anche un paio di prodotti della NYX :) mi piacciono davvero un sacco e guardate quanto sono carine le confezioni!! A voi piacciono le candele?
