November favourites

Hello! I know we're already counting down to Christmas...but I still wanted to share with my favourites! First of all let's talk about Selvert Thermal Crème lift redensifiante. I was curious to try it but I wasn't quite sure how my super senstive skin would react, well so far so good! My skin really loves this product and although my skin is combination, it gives the right amount of moisture without feeling greasy or  just too much (read more about Selvert Thermal products here)! Moving on to make-up I adore Nuxe Bio Beauté BB cream, very hydrating and light on the skin, it provides a slight coverage which is perfect for no-make-up-make-up looks. To set it I use Bourjois Healthy balance powder, which is my new favourite powder of all times, seriously guys, you need to try it! For lipstick I've been obsessed with Caroline de Maigret collab with Lancome and the lipstick in question is n. 205 Rose de Peau Nue, a lovely balm that keeps your lips looking fab all day! Talking about nails, my favourite color for the season is burgundy and Bordeaux for H&M is such a lovely shade!!

I wanted to include a couple randoms, my silver rings, which are my obsession at the moment and Garance Doré book "Love, Style, Life". It's a beautiful book, interesting to read and to look at, full of tips, tricks, gorgeous illustrations and all in witty Garance style.

Ciao! Lo so ormai siamo vicinissimi a Natale, ma voglio ugualmente condividere con voi i miei preferiti di Novembre, anche se un po' in ritardo ;) Per prima cosa voglio parlarvi della crema Lift redensifiante di Selvert Thermal. Ero davvero curiosa di provarla, ma allo stesso tempo non avevo idea di come la mia pelle super sensibile, avrebbe reagito. Beh devo dire che per ora è amore e nonostante abbia la pelle mista, il livello di idratazione di questo prodotto è molto ben bilanciato e non ho mai la sensazione di avere la pelle unta o troppo appesantita (se volete saperne di più leggete qui). Parlando invece di trucchi, il primo prodotto che voglio presentarvi, è la BB cream della nuova linea bio di Nuxe. Ha una formulazione idratante, ma leggerissima, la coprenza leggera è perfetta per quei giorni in cui vogliamo un look naturale. Per fissarla uso la cipria Healthy Balance di Bourjois, che è senza dubbio la mia preferita di sempre. Se non la conoscete, dovete provarla, non ve ne pentirete! Caroline de Maigret ha collaborato con Lancome per creare una collezione di trucchi in stile parigino, e il rossetto n. 205 Rose de Peau Nue è stupendo. Si tratta quasi più di burrocacao, è molto idratante e quindi perfetto per le giornate fredde invernali. Parliamo invece di unghie, il mio colore preferito per la stagione è decisamente il borgogna e Bordeaux di H&M, rappresenta alla perfezione la mia idea! Per finire volevo includere un paio di cose random. La prima sono gli anelli in argento, che sono la mia fissa del momento e poi il libro di Garance Doré, "Love, Style, Life". È davvero bello, interessante da leggere e da guardare. Pieno di consigli, bellissime illustrazioni e immagini, tutto condito dallo stile di Garance.

December to me means Christmas! I'm so excited to see the streets and shops all festive and decorated and I cannot wait to celebrate with my friends and family! So to get in the spirit I put together a wish list full of things that I wouldn't mind finding under my Christmas tree ;D 

I love Chloé Faye bag, I think it's so modern and chic and you can't go wrong with a small black bag!! A pink coat would be a nice addition to my monochrome wardrobe and this one from Chalayan is to die for, right?! I find a candle is always a nice gift to give and receive and Byredo, came up with some gorgeous fragrances. Talking about make-up I had to include a highlither and my favourite is from Becca, they're gorgeous, silky smooth and very glowy! The evil eye ring from Mejuri it's adorable, I love the chain and its simple yet unique design.

Dicembre mi fa subito pensare al Natale e devo dire che vedere le strade e le vetrine dei negozi, piene di luci e decorazioni, mi mette subito di buonumore. Quindi per rimanere in tema, ho pensato di mettere insieme una wish list, piena di cose che non mi dispiacerebbe affatto trovare sotto l'albero di Natale ;D Una borsa non poteva mancare, e la Faye di Chloé è la mia preferita al momento, adoro il suo aspetto moderno e chic!! Un cappottino rosa, potrebbe essere un'aggiunta interessante al mio guardaroba monocromatico e questo di Chalayan mi fa impazzire, non è stupendo?! Trovo che una candela sia sempre un otttimo regalo, da fare e da ricevere e Byredo ha delle fragranze natalizie molto interessanti, oltre alle bellissime confezioni. Parlando invece di trucchi, non potevo non includere un illuminate e il mio preferito è di Becca, bello, dalla consistenza setosa e mai eccessivo! L'anello Evil eye di Mejuri è davvero delizioso, mi piace la catena e il suo stile semplice ma allo stesso tempo, originale.

Hi everyone, it's time for another wish list! At this point every year I start craving boots and these from Givenchy are any shoe-lover dream! I love Maje and this dress is so gorgeous I like that you can see the cut outs at the bottom of the skirt. Talking about make up I can't wait to try the new blushes from Too Faced...yes mainly because of the packaging, isn't it cute? I also love this set of pendants from Monica Vinader, you can really play with it and the letters have different styles which adds to the mix. A clutch and a pair of sunnies and the look is complete! Ciao a tutti, è il momento di mostrarvi la mia wish list! Come ogni anno, in questo periodo, mi viene improvvisamente voglia di stivali e questi di Givenchy sono il sogno di qualsiasi amante delle scarpe! Adoro Maje e trovo che questo vestito sia davvero bellissimo, le diverse lunghezze dell'abito e della sottoveste valorizzano la texture traforata dell'abito. Parlando invece di trucchi, non vedo l'ora di provare i nuovi blush della Too Faced...sì principalmente per via della confezione, non è carinissima?! Nella mia lista non potevano mancare i ciondoli con le lettere dell'alfabeto di Monica Vinader, la trovo un'idea molto carina e versatile oltre al fatto che ogni lettera ha uno stile diverso, quindi ci si può davvero sbizzarrire. July favourites

Wow July went by so fast! I can't believe we're basically in august and I'm beyond excided for my up coming holiday!! But today I'm here to share with you some of the products I'd been loving throughout this month. First things first I want to talk about this Lush soap...omg it smells like heaven!! It's called "Honey I washed the kids!" quite a mouthful but the soap is just incredible, smells so delicious you wanna eat it! For my face I'd been enjoying the Polyphenol serum from Caudalie and a new SPF from Avène. It's from their Cleanance line, targeted for oily and combination skin and it's the best spf for the face I've tried so far. Its formula is very light, fast absorbing and has a matte finish, it hasn't break my out which is awesome and it has a nice packaging which is always a plus! For make-up I've been loving the Stila convertible color in Peony, which is a cream blush that you can use on your  lips as well and Une Breezy lip balm in the shade B02 a sheer coral both so pretty and perfect for no-make-up make-up days! Last but not least my necklace by Delphine Pariente, a gorgeous basic piece engraved with a quote, that you can personalize if you want. In case you're wondering mine says "Je ne regrette rien" ;)

Wow luglio è davvero volato via! Non riesco a credere che siamo praticamente ad agosto e non vedo l'ora di andare in vacanza!! Ma oggi sono qui per parlarvi dei prodotti che più ho apprezzato questo mese. Per primo voglio parlarvi di un sapone di Lush. Si chiama "non si mangia" e direi che il nome non potrebbe essere più appropriato, ha un profumo talmente buono che la tentazione di assaggiarlo è davvero forte! Per il viso ho usato il siero Pholyphenol di Caudalie e una nuova protezione solare di Avène. Fa parte della linea solare Cleanance ed è indicata per pelli grasse o miste, devo dire che è una delle migliori protezioni solari per il viso che ho mai provato! La sua formula è leggerissima, si assorbe velocemente e ha una finitura opaca, ma la cosa più importante è che non mi ha causato strane reazioni, inoltre la confezione è molto pratica. Per quanto riguarda il trucco ho usato moltissimo lo Stila convertible color nel colore Peony, che è un blush in crema che può essere usato anche sulle labbra e il Breezy lip balm di Une nel colore B02, un color corallo davvero carino. Per finire la mia collana di Delphine Pariente, la adoro e le placchette volendo, sono personalizzabili. In caso foste curiosi sulla mia c'è scritto "Je ne regrette rien" ;)

Hello everyone, as you can see all I have in my mind right now is going to the beach and having a bit of time off...but I still have to wait a little more before I can go on holiday. I'm all in for a nice bikini, like this one from Marysia a pair of espadrilles a big tote and a fun nail polish on my toes! I can't wait to try these new polishes from Smith & Cult, they have lots of nice colors and the bottle is so cute. Hvae you tried them yet? Ciao a tutti, al momento il mio unico desiderio è quello di stare in spiaggia e godermi un po' di relax...ma c'è ancora un po' di tempo prima che possa andare in vacanza, quindi per ora posso solo sognare con la mia wish list. Vorrei proprio un bel bikini, come questo di Marysia, semplice ma carinissimo, un paio di espadrillas, una borsa di tela e un bello smalto colorato! Sono molto curiosa di provare questi nuovi smalti di Smith & Cult, hanno un sacco di colori carini e la bottiglietta è davvero orginale. Voi li avete provati? June favourites

Let's talk about favourites, shall we? You know there are months where I don't really use much new or interesting products, while others I feel like I have a lot to talk about XD but without further ado, let's jump right into my monthly favourites! I recently developed rosacea and my dermatologist recommended this cleanser by La Roche-Posay. It's a mousse and it's very gentle but still cleanses your skin without irritating it. Still talking about skin care I tried a new eye cream, it's called Crème Prodigeuse yeux and it's from Nuxe, it's a anti-aging and anti-puffines eye cream. It's very refreshing and moisturizing without beeing too rich. It has a floral smell and all though it's nice and I'm not so sure how I like my eye cream to have a scent...but it's not offensive and the product it's still awesome.  I finally decided to include the Beauty Blender, I wanted to try it out propertly before including it in my favourites and let me tell you guys it's amazing. Even for someone like me who prefer BB creams to foundation, it make an incredible difference. I'm sure you all know how it works, you dampen it until it gets bigger, squeeze it and use it to blend your foundation with gentle, bouncy, patting motions. The more you squeeze it, the most coverage you'll get but over-all the final result is gorgeous, almost air brushed! If you haven't tried it yet, go check it out because it's woth the hype. For lips I've been loving Marc Jacobs New Nudes in the shade Role Play. It has a gel texture (non sticky) that gives a gorgeous, finish to the lips. For my nails all I'd been wearing is pastels and my favourites shades are Essie Lilacism, Barry M Peach Melba and Elderberry. I think I might be addict to Byredo fragrances, they're so unique and they have the most beautiful sleek packagings ever. My new addiction is called Blanche and smells just like a dream, so fresh but soft and cozy like a sunday morning, I can't wait to try more of their scents!! Last spot in my favourites has to go to my Céline sunglasses, I love their shape and their color, it's neutral and so flattering, it goes with everything ;)I hope you liked the post and I'll see you in my next one!!

Oggi parliamo dei miei prodotti preferiti, che ne dite? Ci sono mesi che non ho molti prodotti interessanti di cui parlare, altri invece in cui non riesco nemmeno ad includerli tutti XD ma senza ulteriore indugio, cominciamo a scoprire i miei preferiti del mese! Recentemente mi è venuta la rosacea, e la dermatologa mi ha consigliato il detergente Effaclair H di La Roche-Posay. È una mousse ed è davvero delicatissima sulla pelle e la deterge, senza irritarla. Sempre parlando di skin care, ho provato una nuova crema per il contorno occhi, si chiama Crème Prodigeuse yeux ed è di Nuxe, ha una funzione decongestionante e anti invecchiamento . Devo dire che è molto fresca e idratante, senza appesantire il contorno occhi, l'unico neo è forse la profumazione...che, non fraintendetemi, è buonissima ma non sono del tutto sicura di volere una crema contorno occhi profumata, comunque l'odore non è troppo intenso e se ne va con l'applicazione. Finalmente mi sono decisa ad includere la Beauty Blender, la famosa spugnetta per stendere fonodotinta & co. prima di parlarvene ho voluto testarla per bene, per capire se davvero fosse così incredibile, e lasciate che ve lo dica ragazzi, lo è! Sono sicura che sapete tutti come funzione, la si bagna finchè non diventa più grande, va poi strizzata e utilizzata per applicare il fondotinta (bb cream, blush in crema ecc.) picchiettano delicatamente sulla pelle, con movimenti rotatori. Il finish è davvero bellissimo, naturale, quasi effetto air-brushed e fa la differenza anche per chi, come me, prferisce la BB cream al fondotinta. Se non la avete ancora provata, ve la stra-consiglio! Per quanoto riguarda le labbra il mio rossetto preferito è stato Role Play della linea New Nudes di Marc Jacobs, la sua formulazione in gel (non appiccicosa) rende l'applicazione e il finish davvero impeccabili. Sulle unghie invece è stato il trinfo dei colori pastello, i miei preferiti sono stati Essie Lilacism, Barry M Peach Melba e Elderberry. Vi confesso che temo di avere un'ossessione per i profumi della Byredo, sono fragranze così particolari e le confezoni hanno un design così pulito e minimal che adoro. Il mio nuovo amore è Blanche, che ha un profumo delizioso, è una fragranza pulita, femminile che mi fa venire in mente la donica mattina e le lenzuola appena lavate. Lo adoro e non vedo l'ora di provare le altre fragranze. Per finire, non potevo non aggiungere i miei occhiali da sole di Céline. Mi piace moltissimo la forma, ma soprattuto il colore neutro, per una volta non nero o tartarugato, che li rende originali, ma portabilissimi, infatti si abbinano perfettamente con qualsiasi look ;) Spero che il post vi sia piaciuto e vi aspetto al prossimo!!

Hello everyone! So June is almost over but there's still time to share with you my wish list! I'm obsessed with Mansur Gavriel bags but they're impossible to find...so I'm just lusting over them wishing to be able to get my hands on one someday XD I really love Isabel Marant sandals, I think they're so edgy and different. I like the little heel and the ankle strap, I know they made a flat version of them which is just my cup of tea but they're very hard to find at the moment...I've never really been a jumpsuit person but after trying on a couple I can see the point. They're so comfortable (except when you have to go to the toilet...) and easy to throw on, you look put together in seconds and during summer they're just the best! Ciao a tutti! Giugno è quasi finito, ma ho pensato di condividere ugualmente con voi la mia wish list. Sono ossessionata dalle borse di Mansur Gavriel, peccato che siano praticamente impossibili da reperire...quindi posso solo sperare di riuscire a trovarne una prima o poi XD Mi piacciono moltissimo i sandali di Isabel Marant, li trovo davvero particolari. Mi piace il fatto che abbiano un tacco non troppo alto e il laccetto alla caviglia. So che ne fanno una versione senza tacco, che mi piace ancora di più ma sembra proprio che siano impossibili da trovare al momento. Non so perché ma non ho mai particolarmente amato le tute, fino a quando recentemente, ho deciso di provarne un paio, così per curiosità e devo dire che una volta trovato il modello che fa per voi, sono comodissime (a parte quando vogliamo andare in bagno...), facili da portare e danno subito l'idea di un look ben studiato, poi in estate sono freschissime! Per finire il mio look, un bel paio di occhiali da sole, rossetto rosso e braccialetto. Vi piace? Ready for Summer?

So Summer is finally here and I couldn't be more excited! During the warmer months I feel like we should take better care of our skin and protect it from the sun. I was looking for a new BB cream to try out and I heard Chanel is doing one which has SPF 50, which sounded really interesting but as you can imagine it's quite expensive so I decided to try this one from Kiehl's which has SPF 50 as well and it's more affordable. Like (almost) all BB creams it doesn't have much coverage and the shades range is not very wide but it's still really nice and ligh on the skin and if you like a natural finish I'm sure you'll love this product. To go along with the BB cream I also got a lip balm because you likes dry lips?! I've never tried the Kiehl's one and I heard so many people rave about it...we'll see if it's really that good ;) What about you? What are your favourite products at the moment?

L'estate è finalmente arrivata e non potrei essere più felice! Durante i mesi esitiv è sempre bene prendersi maggiore cura della propria pelle e in particolare, proteggerla dal sole. A questo proposito stavo cercando una nuova BB cream e ho visto che Chanel ne ha una con protezione 50 che mi aveva incuriosito. Come immaginerete è decisamente cara, quindi alla fine ho optato per la BB cream di Kiehl's, visto che anche questa ha una protezione 50 e il prezzo è decisamente più ragionevole. Come (quasi) tutte le BB cream, non ha una grandissima coprenza e la scelta dei colori è limitata, ma ha un finish radioso e una texture leggerissima, perfetta per i mesi più caldi. Se anche voi amate il look naturale, sono sicura che vi piacerà. Visto che c'ero, ho deciso di provare anche il famoso lip balm della Kiehl's, perché a chi piace avere le labbra secche?! Ne ho sempre sentito parlare benissimo, quindi vedremo se è all'altezza delle aspettative ;) Voi che ne dite? Quali sono i vostri prodotti preferiti per la stagione?

Lace up flats

Pointy, lace up shoes and hot this season! You can see them everywhere, flats, heels, sandals, in every possible material or color, high street or high fashion. At first I was reluctant, I wasn't sure if they would suit me but in the end I cave in and got this pair of flats. They are inspired by Acquazzura Christy flats and I love them to death! They are very simple but the lace up detail gives them the right amount of edge. You can easily dress them up or down and for someone like me, who doesn't really wear heels they're the perfect pair of shoes to make even the most boring pair of jeans more feminine. Do you like them? Would you add a pair to your shoes collection?

Vi sarete accorti che sono tornate di moda le scarpe a punta, ma quello che le rende vermanete "in" al momento, sono i lacci intrecciati! Si trovano dovunque da le catene low cost, all'alta moda, basse, con il tacco, sandali, in tutti i colori e i materiali che riuscite ad immaginare. All'inizio ero riluttante, non pensavo che facessero per me, ma poi ho ceduto e ho deciso di prendere queste ballerine intrecciate. Sono ispirate al modello Christy di Acquazzurra e le adoro! Sono molto semplici, ma il dettaglio dei lacci le rende davvero originali. Sono perfette per qualsiasi occasione e per chi, come me, non porta molto i tacchi, sono un'alternativa perfetta per rendere femminile anche il più noiso paio di jeans. A voi piacciono? Vi lascerete tentare da questo trend?

May favourites

Hello everyone! It's the last day of May, can you believe that?! Well you know the drill...it's time to share my favourites, so let's jump right into it. This month I feel like I don't have very many, mainly because I'm dealing with a nasty rush on my face so I can't really use much or wear make-up on my face...but I still managed to use some bronzer. I'm talking about Chanel soleil tan in the shade n. 50, it's a gorgeous finely milled powder that gives you just the right amount of bronze without looking muddy or orange! As you can tell I had a lipstick craze going on, I eventually managed to get my hands on Mac Brave lipstick and Soar lip liner! I've been looking for them for months but they're always sold out. They're gorgeous used together or separately, Brave is a nude pink and Soar is slightly darker, perfect to cheat on your lip line a little bit. I also enjoyed using the new Clinique color pop in the shade nude pop, very pretty, quite long lasting and with an interesting texture which makes applications super easy and smooth. For my nails I loved Essie Help me grow base paired with Nails Inc by Victoria Beckham in the shade Bamboo White a super chic light pink. For random I wore my cuff from Dannijo a lot, it's so sparkly and pretty that it's the perfect accessory  to spice up a plain outfit. When I travel I like to keep my jewelry protected and I find that this pouch from Nars (it was part of a limited edition set) it's the perfect size to keep your belongings safe, plus it's adorable, right?

Ciao a tutti! È l'ultimo giorno di Maggio, vi pare possibile?! Beh sapete già cosa significa...è il momento di parlarvi dei miei preferiti, quindi cominciamo. Questo mese non ho usato molti prodotti in generale, principalmente perché ho un sfogo sul viso e non posso truccarmi più di tanto...ma sono comunque riuscita a mettere un po' di terra e la mia preferita è la Chanel Soleil Tan nel colore n. 50. È davvero bellissima, la polvere è molto sottile è scalda l'incarnato senza essere arancione! Come potete vedere mi sono sfogata sui rossetti e per primi voglio parlarvi del rossetto Brave e della matita nel colore Soar, entrambi di Mac. Se li conoscete, saprete che sono difficilissimi da reperire e quindi portete capire la mia felicità quando, alla fine, sono riuscita ad acquistarli entrambi. Brave è un nude sul rosa e Soar è leggermente più scuro, sono bellissimi usati insieme ma anche singolarmente. Un altro dei miei rossetti preferiti è stato senza dubbio, Nude Pop di Clinique, sempre un nude rosato davvero bello. La sua texture è davvero interessante, rende l'applicazione facilissima e ha un'ottima durata. Per le unghie la mia combinazione preferita è stata la base Help me grow di Essie e Bamboo White di Victoria Beckham per Nails Inc, un rosa chiarissimo davvero chic. Per quanto riguarda gli accessori, ho poratto moltissimo il bracciale di Dannijo, che con i suoi cristalli colorati è perfetto per arricchire anche il più semplice dei look. Quando viaggio mi piace proteggere i miei accessori e trovo che questa pochettina di Nars (parte di un set a edizione limitata) sia perfetta allo scopo, inoltre non è deliziosa?! Secret Garden 2015

It's almost June and Secret Garden is back for its third edition! Secret Garden is a charity event organized by "Noi per Voi per il Meyer Onlus" aimed to raise funds to help young children affected by tumors and other mortal diseases. Every year a different location, to discover the most beautiful gardens in Florence. This year the event will take place on the 5th, 6th and 7th of June in the gorgeous Villa Bardini and its gardens and from up there you'll have the most amazing view of Florence. There will be lots of fun activities, classes for adults and children, the Secret Market: a food and crafts market, food, music and much more! Siamo quasi a Giugno e anche quest'anno torna l'appuntamento con il Secret Garden, alla sua terza edizione. Il Secret Garden è un evento di beneficenza organizzato dall’Associazione Noi Per Voi per il Meyer ONLUS, volto a raccogliere fondi per finanziare la ricerca per combattere la mortalità infantile.  

Ogni anno una location diversa, per farci scoprire e apprezzare i giardini più belli di Firenze. Quest'anno l'evento si svolgerà il 5 il 6 e il 7 Giugno nella splendida Villa Bardini, un luogo davvero magico dal quale si può ammirare tutta Firenze. Il programma è davvero ricchissimo, troverete infatti un sacco di laboratori per adulti e per bambini,  il Secret Market: mercato food e artigianato, cibo, ottima musica e tanto altro ancora! Oltre e me ci saranno tante altre blogger!! Tre giorni per divertirci insieme ma soprattutto per dare un contributo importante alla ricerca, quindi spero di vedervi li, non mancate!!

Hi everyone, so it's monday again...and I think this is the perfect time to have some fun and show you my wish list! As you can see I'm really into black at the moment...to be completely honest with you I'm always into black XD I'm lusting over those Dior sunnies, aren't they gorgeous? I like their simple yet edgy shape and I'd love to try them on to see if the suit me, since with sunglasses you'll never know. Lace up flats are super popular right now and my favourite are Aquazzura Christy flats. I love the little, golden heel and the laces give the shoes a very sexy vibe. Ciao a tutti, è di nuovo lunedì...quindi ho pensato che fosse il momento perfetto per divertirci un po' insieme, esplorando la mia wish list! Come potete vedere, al momento sono fissata con il nero...a dire il vero, sono sempre fissata con il nero, ma va beh XD Adoro questi occhiali da sole di Dior, li trovo davvero originali, pur essendo minimali nella forma. Mi piacerebbe molto provarli, per vedere se mi stanno bene, visto che con gli occhiali da sole non si sa mai. Le ballerine con i lacci sono molto popolari al momento e le mie preferite sono le Christy di Aquazzurra. Trovo che il piccolo tacco dorato sia delizioso e i lacci diano alla scarpa un tocco super femminile. Spero che la mia wish list del mese vi sia piaciuta e vi auguro una buona giornata!

I like this new turn on backpacks, they're really convenient and I'm definitely into these new, sleek shapes, very minimal but so chic! Today I decided to share with you a selection of my favourites! Sono sicura che avrete notato che gli zaini sono una delle mode del momento...Nel mondo della moda succede spesso che qualcosa, considerato assolutamente da evitare qualche anno fa, subisca un restyling e diventi improvvisamente l'oggetto del desiderio di qualsiasi fashionista (vedi espadrillas, salopette, ecc.) ma è anche per questo che amo la moda, non siete d'accordo?! Questo ritorno degli zaini mi piace, sono un accessorio utile e adoro queste nuove forme lineari, molto minimali e decisamente chic! Oggi ho pensato di condividere con voi alcuni dei miei modelli preferiti. Non so ancora se seguirò questo trend o meno, ma lasciate che ve lo dica...sono tentata! Voi che ne pensate?

Reds and corals

Hello everyone! How are you doing? The weather these past few days was really awesome and warm. It feels almost like summer more than spring...so I decided to pop out my drawers a few make-up items that are definitely appropriate for the season. I love reds and corals, especially during the warmer months and my latest addiction is Chanel nail polish in the shade n. 717 Coquelicot, a gorgeous poppy red, which is one of my favourite flowers and just looking at it put me in a good mood. For lips I like to wear corals but not too brigth and Revlon lipbutter in Jucy Papya is right up my street. You can't go wrong with a coral blush and one of my favourite is Lover from Illamasqua a beautiful shade that suits all skintones! Ciao a tutti! Come state? Il clima in questi giorni è stato davvero incredibile, fa caldo e sembra quasi più estate che primavera...quindi ho deciso di tirare fuori alcuni trucchi che trovo perfetti per questa stagione. Adoro il rosso e il corallo in tutte le loro declinazioni, specialmente nel mesi più caldi e la mia ultima fissa è lo smalto di Chanel, nel colore n. 717 Coquelicot, un bellissimo rosso papavero, che è uno dei miei fiori preferiti e mi mette di buon umore soltanto a guardarlo! Per le labbra mi piace portare rossetti color corallo, ma scelgo sempre formule non troppo intense e il Lipbutter di Revlon, nel colore Jucy Papaya è davvero perfetto. Con un blush color corallo non si sbaglia mai e la mia scelta è ricaduta su Lover di Illamasqua, bellissimo, a lunga tenuta e sta bene praticamente a tutte! April Favourites

Hello everyone! So it's time to share the things I've been loving throughout April. First of all we're taking skin care. I had a major breakout at the beginning of the month...let me just tell you that it's still there but thanks to La Roche-Posay Serozinc and Bioderma face wash it's almost gone. Both these products are amazing it you have sensitive skin and like me, you suffer from ormonal/stress breakout from time to time. It seems like I'm really into fragrances at the moment and as I told you I got this Byredo perfume in the scent Gipsy Water. It's such a gorgeous, unique scent, it has notes of lemon, pepper, juniper berries, incense, pine needle, vanilla and even though I'm sure it's not a perfume that everyone likes, if you get it's charme you'll completely fall in love with it! For nails I'd been loving Nails Inc by Victoria Beckham in the shade Bamboo White a lovely, creamy light pink. My lipstick of choice has been Essence Natural Beauty, a super cute pink nude, very moisturizing and quite long lasting, plus it's just about 3 euros so...Last but not least my bracelets, one if from Philippe Audibert and the other I got at a local market.  They're super easy to wear but they make the difference! Ciao a tutti! È il momento di parlare dei miei preferiti del mese di Aprile. Per prima cosa parliamo di cura della pelle. All'inizio del mese mi è venuto uno sfogo terribile...e purtroppo è ancora qui, ma grazie al Serozinc di La Roche-Posay e il gel detergente di Bioderma se ne è andato quasi del tutto. Questi due prodotti sono entrambi fantastici se avete la pelle delicata o facilmente irritabile e come me soffrite occasionalmente di sfoghi ormonali/da stress.  Ultimamente sono fissata con i profumi e come vi dicevo nei post precedenti, ho preso Gipsy Water di Byredo. È una fragranza davvero unica nel suo genere, ha note di limone, pepe, bacche di ginepro, incenso, aghi di pino, vaniglia e anche se probabilmente non è un profumo che piacerà a tutti, vi consiglio di provarlo se vi capita, perché se è nelle vostre corde, ve ne innamorerete perdutamente! Per quando riguarda gli smalti ho usato moltissimo Bamboo White della collezione Nails Inc in collaborazione con Victoria Beckham, è un rosa chiarissimo, molto elegante e dalla consistenza cremosa. Il mio rossetto del mese è stato senza dubbio Natural Beauty di Essence, un delizioso rosa nude, idratante e dalla buona tenuta, poi se considerate che costa circa 3 euro...Per ultimi i miei braccialetti in metallo, mi piace portarli insieme e pur essendo davvero minimal, fanno la differenza! I know April is almost gone...but it's never too late for a good old wish list isn't it?! Can we talk about that pink backpack please?!? I'm in love, it's so simple yet stylish. Backpacks are really in at the moment and I'm sure this sleek number would be a staple in my collection for years to come. I don't know why but lately I've been into boyfriend jeans...it's something I usually never, ever wear...I'd like to style them with pumps and a smart looking top, like that gorgeous black one from Helmut Lang. I can't wait to try the new Pop lip colours from Clinique but when I got to the counter they're never  there...I'm not giving up tho and I'll report back on them!! Lo so, Aprile è praticamente finito...ma non è mai troppo tardi per parlare di wish list, giusto?! Possiamo soffermarci un attimo sullo zainetto rosa?!? Lo adoro, è così semplice e d'impatto allo stesso tempo. Gli zaini sono davvero di moda adesso e sono sicura che un modello dalle linee così pulite sarebbe un'ottima aggiunta a qualsiasi collezione, che negli anni rimarrà comunque portabilissimo. Non so perché ma ultimamente mi è venuta voglia di provare i boyfriend jeans...non ne ho nemmeno un paio...ma mi immagino di metterli con un paio di tacchi e un bel top elegante, come questo nero di Helmut Lang. Sono curiosissima di provare i Pop lip colour di Clinique, ma ogni volta che vado in profumeria sono finiti o non sono ancora arrivati...poco male, prima o poi saranno miei e ovviamente vi terrò aggiornati al riguardo!! Kendall Jenner

I've never been into the Kardashian-hype till I found out about Kendall Jenner. She's one of the younger sisters of Kim & co., she started her own career as a model and she quickly became one of the most popular girls on the runway. Unlike her sisters she likes to wear more basic pieces and I find her style really polished, fresh and classy so I decided to share with a few of my favourite looks. As you can see she's a skinny jeans and boots kinda gal...so how could I not love her?!

Non sono mai stata una grande fan delle Kardashian, fino a che non ho scoperto l'esistenza di Kendall Jenner. È una delle sorelle più giovani di Kim & co., ha iniziato la carriera di modella ed è presto divenata una delle ragazze più popolari in passerella. A differenza delle sue sorelle, ha un look più semplice, meno carico e le piace portare pezzi basici, trovo il suo look molto pulito, fresco e moderno, quindi ho deciso di condividere con voi alcuni dei miei look preferiti di Kendall. Come potete vedere ama indossare skinny jeans e stivali...quindi come potrei non adorare il suo stile?!

I love flats and Charlotte Olympia makes some of the cutest in this department. She's launching a new series called ABC that you can customize to suit your taste! You get a pair of plain flats (you can choose from a variety of colors) and a set of 52 leather adhesive stickers that you can use to make your shoes unique, fun and different every single time! I'm really excited to get my hands on a pair. They're launching today so be sure to check them out before they're gone!!

Adoro le scarpe basse e Charlotte Olympia, è sicuramente uno dei marchi che preferisco. È appena uscita con una nuova linea che si chiama ABC e permette di personalizzare le sue più classiche ballerine, rendendole davvero uniche! Nella scatola troverte un paio di scarpe semplici (ci sono un sacco di colori diversi da scegliere) e un set di 52 stickers in pelle da applicare sulle scarpe, per renderle originali, divertenti e diverse ogni singola volta che le indossate! Non vedo l'ora di procurarmene un paio. Questa nuova linea esce oggi, quindi vi consiglio di dargli un'occhiata prima che sia esaurita!!

March favourites

March is over so it's time to share with you the things I'd been loving through this past month! Let's get started!!

SKIN-CARE 

This month I started using a new night cream. It's from Caudalie and it's their Cell renewal night cream from the Vinoperfect line. It's a very lovely moisturizer which helps with pigmentation and it's not too thick. Since I have combination skin I still need some hydration and this cream is great for that.

HAIR
I got The Wet brush a few months back and I forgot to include it in my favourites before but it's awesome so I wanted to share :) First of all it has a handle, which makes it more convenient than my Tangle Teezer. It's designed to be used on wet hair, detangling them and not causing breakage. It is definitely a staple in my hair-care routine! 

MAKE-UP 

I started using bronzer again and my favourite was Chanel Les Beiges in the shade n. 50. Easy to blend, not muddy or orange! For my lips I've been lining them with Rimmel Exaggerate lip pencil in n.063 Eastend Snob, a lovely pink. Looks adorable by itself, under a lipstick or a lip gloss like Overprotected by Marc Jabcobs, for a gorgeous but still natural look. My favourite brushes are mainly Real Tecniques or Zoeva but last summer I decided to splurge and get a blush brush from Bobbi Brown. It's so soft and overall a really good brush, I washed it multiple times and it hasn't lost its shape or shed. It's pricy but the quality it's definitely there!

FRAGRANCE
I already showed you this perfume in a previous post but I had to put it in my favourites sice it's all I'd been wearing lately. I'm talking about Viva la Jucy! It's a throwback for me but I still really like it. It's definitely sweet but not too overpowering, I find it very feminine and sexy. If you've never tried it, give it a sniff next time you walk by a Jucy Couture counter.

RANDOM 

I love polaroids and my Fuji Instax mini is such a cute little camera to bring with you and play with! I'm obsessed with HRH Collection jewelry and I haven't took off my set of bracelets since I got them. All the jewelry is handmade by Alexandra and in her shop there are lots of cool, edgy pieces. You should absolutely check it out!

Siamo alla fine di Marzo, quindi come sapete, è il momento di condividere con voi i prodotti che più ho amato durante questo mese! Scopriamo insieme quali sono!!

SKIN-CARE 
Questo mese ho iniziato ad usare un nuovo prodotto di Caudalie e si tratta della crema da notte Cell renewal, della linea Vinoperfect. Mi piace moltissimo, perché a differenza di tante creme da notte non è troppo pesante e la sua funzione schiarente, aiuta a liberarsi delle macchioline lasciate dai brufoli. Per me che ho la pelle mista è il compromesso perfetto! 

CAPELLI

Qualche mese fa ho deciso di prendere la Wet Brush e non so perché non ve ne avevo ancora parlato! È fantastica e il fatto che abbia il manico la rende ancora più comoda del Tangle Teezer. È fatta per essere usata sui capelli bagnati e serve per liberarsi dei nodi, senza danneggiare il capello. Ormai è un must nella mia hair-care routine! 

MAKE-UP 

Ho ricominciato ad usare la terra e la mia preferita è stata la Chanel Les Beiges nel colore n.50. Facilissima da sfumare, opaca, senza essere troppo polverosa o arancione! Per le labbra invece ho usato moltissimo la matita di Rimmel nel colore n.063 Eastend Snob, un rosa carinissimo. Deliziosa se usata da sola, come base per il rossetto o sotto un gloss come Overprotected di Marc Jacobs, per un look favoloso ma naturale. I miei pennelli preferiti sono principalmente Real Tecniques e Zoeva, ma la scorsa ho estate ho deciso di provarne uno più costoso e ho preso un pennello da blush di Bobbi Brown. È molto soffice e in generale lo considero un ottimo pennello, l'ho lavato un sacco di volte e non ha perso nemmeno una setola o la sua forma, è costoso ma la qualità è ottima! 

FRAGRANCE

Vi avevo già mostrato questo profumo in un post precedente, ma visto che non ho praticamente usato altro, dovevo inserirlo nei miei preferiti. Sto parlando del profumo Viva la Jucy! Per me è un po' un tuffo ne passato, ma devo dire che questo profumo dopo anni, mi piace ancora molto. È sicuramente dolce, ma non stucchevole e lo trovo molto sexy e famminile. Se non lo conoscete, vi consiglio di provarlo se vi capita l'occasione. 

RANDOM 

Amo le polaroid e la Fujifilm Instax mini è davvero una macchinetta deliziosa da portarsi dietro e le mini polaroid che fa sono carinissime! Ultimamente sono fissata con i gioielli di HRH Collection e quelli che vedete nella foto non hanno mai lasciato il mio polso. Tutti i gioielli sono fatti a mano da Alexandra e sul suo sito ci sono un sacco di pezzi carini e originali. Vi consiglio di dargli un'occhiata!

Hello everyone! I'm here to share my March wish list :) I'm madly in love with Chloé Drew bag, it's so chic and modern. As you know I love stripes and this top from Zara has just enough of a Brigitte Bardot vibe, to justify its purchase! I need a new pair of black skinny jeans...because you never have enought of those and I'm super curious to try the new NailKale nail polishes from Nails Inc. They contain real kale and they're supposed to be good for your nails as well! I have a thing for all things Chanel especially with their brooches. They're not crazy expensive (at least not all of them) and they can make your most boring top look fabulous. I know it's kinda soon to wear sandals but when I saw these from Valentino I start craving Summer, they're just gorgeous, aren't they?!

Ciao a tutti! Oggi parliamo della mia wish list di Marzo :) Sono follemente innamorata della borsa Drew di Chloé, la trovo così chic e moderna. Come sapete adoro le righe e questo top di Zara, mi ricorda Brigitte Bardot e non ho niente di simile nell'armadio...insomma direi che posso giustificarne l'acquisto, non pensate anche voi? Ho bisogno di un nuovo paio di skinny jeans neri, giusto perché non se ne hanno mai abbastanza e sono curiosissima di provare i nuovi smalti NailKale della Nails Inc. Pare che contengano cavolo nero e che siano meno dannosi dei normali smalti, voi li avete provati? Adoro Chanel e in particolare le loro spille, non sono costosissime (almeno non tutte) e rendono favoloso il più noiso dei top. So che è un po' presto per i sandali, ma quando ho visto questi di Valentino, ho cominciato a desiderare ardentemente che arrivi l'estate. Non sono stupendi?!
