H&M new make-up line

H&M is not a place where I usually shop for make-up, even though I love their nail polishes. Recently they re-launched their make-up line and they've definitely upped their game!

The new displays are very pretty and the selection is amazing, they have everything you might need from lipstick to nail polish, to brushes and skin care. The packaging is very sleek and elegant and basically I wanted to try everything...but I tried to resist and got just a lipstick and a nail polish both really pretty, good quality and affordable (€9.99 for the lipstick and €4.99 the nail polish). I'm definitely going back for more! Have you tried anything from the range yet?

H&M non è certamente il primo negozio che mi viene in mente, parlando di trucchi, anche se ho sempre apprezzato i loro smalti. Ultimamente hanno rilanciato la loro linea di make-up e devo dire che hanno decisamente alzato il tiro!

I nuovi display non hanno niente da invidiare a quelli delle profumerie e la selzione di prodotti è incredibile, c'è proprio tutto: dai rossetti, agli smalti passando per i pennelli e i prodotti per la cura della pelle. Le confezioni sono molto eleganti e rendono i prodotti ancora più invitanti...io ho cercato di contenermi e ho preso solo un rossetto e uno smalto, entrambi carinissimi, di buona qualità ed economici (€9,99 il rossetto e €4,99 lo smalto). Sicuramente farò un altro giro da H&M! Voi avete provato qualcosa di questa nuova linea?

Hello everyone, as you can see all I have in my mind right now is going to the beach and having a bit of time off...but I still have to wait a little more before I can go on holiday. So in the meantime I'm dreaming about all things summery as you can see from my wish list. I'm all in for a nice bikini, like this one from Marysia a pair of espadrilles a big tote and a fun nail polish on my toes! I can't wait to try these new polishes from Smith & Cult, they have lots of nice colors and the bottle is so cute. Hvae you tried them yet? Ciao a tutti, al momento il mio unico desiderio è quello di stare in spiaggia e godermi un po' di relax...ma c'è ancora un po' di tempo prima che possa andare in vacanza, quindi per ora posso solo sognare con la mia wish list. Vorrei proprio un bel bikini, come questo di Marysia, semplice ma carinissimo, un paio di espadrillas, una borsa di tela e un bello smalto colorato! Sono molto curiosa di provare questi nuovi smalti di Smith & Cult, hanno un sacco di colori carini e la bottiglietta è davvero orginale. Voi li avete provati? My top 5 nail polish picks for Fall

As Fall is slowly approaching I'd like to share with you my top 5 nail polishes for the upcoming season!

A deep dark blue like Chanel Orage is super chic for Fall, I never use to wear blue nail polish but in the past couple years it has grown on me and this one in particular is amazing! During Fall my favourite colour to wear on my nails is definitely burgundy and one of my most used polishes is Essie Bahama Mama, a gorgeous, not too dark bugundy red which is a must in every collection!

Brow polish is a trend for Fall and Essie Sole Mate is the perfect warm chocolate brown to embrace it!! If you're not into dark colours you should try a nude. My favourite is OPI Tickle my France-y a lovely nude with pink undertones. It's very polished and chic and it doesn't make your hands look mannequin-like. Since is my all time favourite colour I have to include a true red! I think it's timeless and extremely chic, my favourite is Revlon in n. 680 Revlon Red! Visto che l'autunno si avvicina, ho pensato di parlarvi dei miei 5 smalti preferiti per questa stagione! 

Un blu scuro e intenso, come Orage di Chanel, è davvero perfetto per l'autunno! Fino a qualche anno fa non amavo particolarmente questo colore, adesso invece lo adoro e questo di Chanel è bellissimo! In autunno, il mio colore preferito è il bordeaux e lo smalto di Essie Bahama mama, è decisamente quello che uso più spesso. Ha un colore ricco, non troppo scuro e si stende benissimo, per me è un must in ogni collezione di smalti! Uno dei trend per la prossima stagione è lo smalto marrone e Sole mate di Essie è un bellissimo color cioccolato che si presta perfettamente allo scopo! Se i colori scuri non fanno per voi, perchè non provare un nude? Il mio preferito è Tickle my France-y di OPI, un color nude con toni sul rosa che conferisce alla mani un aspetto curato e chic, senza farle sembrare quelle di un manichino. Per finire, visto che il mio colore preferito (in tutte le stagioni) non potevo non includere un bel rosso. È un colore senza tempo e davvero elegante, il mio preferito è di Revlon nel n. 680 Revlon Red! Si stende benissimo e dura un sacco!! Last week my friend Elisa surprised me with this mini set of Deborah Lippmann nail polishes. I own a base from Deborah Lippman but I've never tried their nail polishes so I'm really excited! I love all the colors but my favourite is "putty in your hands" the taupy one :)Have you ever tried Deborah Lippmann nail polishes? Do you like them?

La scorsa settimana la mia amica Elisa, mi ha fatto un sorpesa, regalandomi questo set di mini smalti di Deborah Lippmann. Ho una base di Deborah Lippmann ma non ho mai provato gli smalti, quindi non vedo l'ora di testarli! Guess who's coming to town!

For those of you who live in the Us this is nothing new but Marc Jacobs make-up line finally made it to Europe (Italy to be exact) and I'm very excited to try some of the products! I heard great things about the foundation, powders and their nail polishes so I can't wait to test them out! Have tried them? Which one is your favourite?

Finalmente esce in Italia la linea di trucchi di Marc Jacobs! Nonostante i prezzi non siano proprio abbordabili, ha riscosso un discreto successo alla sua uscita negli Stati Uniti la scorsa estate. Ho letto in giro che la qualità di alcuni prodotti tra cui fondotinta, prodotti in polvere e smalti è ottima e i colori sembrano davvero belli. La collezione è disponibile in anteprima sul sito di Sephora per i possessori della gold card e a quanto pare, sarà disponibile per tutti nella prima metà di Aprile :) Io non vedo l'ora di provare gli smalti! E voi?

In the mood for Christmas!

It's December and I couldn't be more excited for Christmas!! As you can see I'm all about red, glitter and decorations! I found this super cute jumper at H&M and it set the mood for a very Chrismassy look. Considering that it's freezing I thought it was about time to bring back my Uggs, they can be not everyone's cup of tea but when it's super cold nothing compares!

Siamo arrivati a Dicembre e conto i giorni che mancano a Natale!! Come potete vedere rosso, glitter e decorazioni sono entrate a pieno titolo nelle mie giornate! Ho trovato questo maglione carinissimo da H&M e diciamo che mi ha ispirata per creare un look natalizio XD Inoltre considerando il freddo tremendo di questi giorni, ho pensato che fosse arrivato il momento di ritirare fuori i miei Ugg che potranno non piacere a tutti, ma quando è freddo non hanno rivali secondo me!

How I do my nails

Speaking about the video I am no professional so keep that in mind, I just wanted to show you how I pain my nails and maybe exchange some tips with you. It was super fun to make and I'm planning on doing more beauty videos in the future! I hope you like it :D

Oh Chanel!

Oh Chanel! Why you do this to me? I almost forgot the new collection was coming out and then I just run into it and fell in love completely XD I was actually looking forward to their new cream blushes and when I saw the collection and tried some of the products I just wanted to grab them all!! In the end I picked up Présage a lovely apricot, very natural color. The texture of these new blushes is very silky and easy to blend, there are six shades all very pigmented and you can apply them lightly for a natural look or built them up for more intense look. Then I saw the nail polishes and I had to get Mysterious a deep dark khaki green, perfect for the upcomning season! Do you like them? Have you tried any of these products yet?

Oh Chanel! Perchè mi fai questo? Avevo praticamente dimenticato che stava per uscire la nuova collezione autunnale e poi per caso mi ci sono imbattuta e ovviamente me ne sono innamorata XD Ad essere sincera aspettavo con impazienza l'uscita dei nuovi blush in crema e dopo aver visto la collezione e averne provati un paio, li avrei comprati tutti!! Ho finito per scegliere Présage, un bellissimo color albicocca, molto naturale. La texture di questi blush è davvero setosa e facile da sfumare, ci sono sei colori tutti bellissimi e molto pigmentati. Si possono applicare in maniera leggera per un look naturale o costruire un colore più intenso per un look più deciso. Poi ho visto gli smalti e ovviamente ho dovuto prendere Mysterious, un bellissimo verde kaki molto scuro, perfetto per la prossima stagione! Che ne dite vi piacciono? Fatemi sapere se avete provato qualche prodotto di questa collezione!!

Mini spring haul

Hello everyone! These past weeks I didn't really had a chance to go shopping so this weekend I tried to catch up and went for a little shopping trip with my boyfriend. I had to go to my beloved Zara but I didn't really find anything apart from this scarf which is super soft and goes with everything :D I also went to H&M and got this necklace that I can't wait to wear. Last but now least I checked out the Revlon counter at a local beauty store because I was looking for their new BB cream but looks like in Italy it hasn't been releasd yet...well couln'd leave empty handed so...I got a nail polish and a lip gloss :D Do you like them?

Ciao a tutti! Nelle ultime settimane non ho avuto modo di andare a fare shopping, quindi questo fine settimana mi sono fatta un giretto per negozi con il mio ragazzo. Ovviamente sono andata da Zara, dove però non ho trovato molto, fatta eccezione per la sciarpa che vedete nelle foto. E' morbidissima e si abbina facilmente con tutto :D Sono stata anche da H&M dove ho preso questa collana che non vedo l'ora di indossare. In fine sono stata in profumeria perchè volevo vedere se era arrivata la nuova BB cream della Revlon, ma non l'ho trovata...ovviamente non potevo uscire a mani vuote quindi...ho preso uno smalto e un lucidalabbra :D Vi piacciono?

Hi guys! How was your weekend? Mine was super busy as my past week but this is finally coming to an end and I can't wait to have my life back :D 

Btw today I wanted to talk you about & Other Stories the new concept store by the H&M group. Basically it is in between Cos and H&M for quality and prices and I'd say so far so good :)

There you can find all sort of stuff from make-up to skin care, from clothes to accessories and shoes! I really like the sleek packaging of the make-up and the fun yet simple style of the clothes! At the moment you can find the stores in Copenhagen, Stockholm and London but they have an online shop too so you can buy wherever you live :)

I posted a few of my favorite items and I can't wait to get me something from their online store! What about you? Did you know the brand? Do you like it?

Ciao ragazzi! Come avete passato il fine settimana? Il mio è stato delirante come purtroppo tutta la settimana passata, ma finalmente stiamo arrivando alla fine di questo periodaccio e non vedo l'ora :D

Comunque oggi voglio parlarvi di & Other Stories il nuovo concept store del gruppo H&M. Praticamente è una via di mezzo tra COS e H&M sia per quanto riguarda i prezzi, che per la qualità e lo stile dei capi e da quello che ho visto fino ad ora non sembra affatto male :)

Vendono un po' di tutto: trucchi, prodotti per la pelle, vestiti, accessori, scarpe ecc. 

Mi piace molto lo stile minimal delle confezioni e il look divertente ma basic di abiti e accessori! Per il momento trovate i negozi a Copenaghen, Stoccolma e Londra, ma hanno anche un negozio online, quindi potete fare acquisti da qualsiasi parte del mondo :) Ho postato alcune dei miei articoli preferiti e non vedo l'ora di prendermi qualcosa!! Voi che ne dite, vi piace? Lo conoscevate?

How I store my make up

Hi Guys! I don't know if you remeber my Ikea cabinet! I use it to store my make up and jewelry and I really like it because it's a great little thing to keep things organized just how I like them :) I use three drawers for make up and the rest for my jewelry! As you can see my collection is...uhm...wide! Not huge but let's face it I'm quite of a hoarder XD In the first drawer I keep my powders, foundations and eye stuff. In the second I keep all my lip products (that as you know are my passion), together with my Naked palette and in the third one I keep my nail polishes. The drawers are quite deep so they can fit quite a lot of stuff! I put some smaller boxex inside of each drawer to keep things even neater! It works great for me because this way I have easy access to my make up and it's all hidden inside this cute little cabinet! I chose red beacause it gives a pop of color to my room!

Ciao ragazzi! Non so se vi ricordate il mio mobiletto Ikea! Lo uso per riporre i miei trucchi e i miei gioelli e lo adoro perchè è un modo perfetto per tenere le mie cose a posto, proprio come piace a me :) Utilizzo 3 cassetti per il trucco e 3 per i miei gioelli! Come potete vedere la mia collezione è...beh...diciamo ampia! Non è enorme, ma si può dire che sono decisamente un'accumulatrice XD Nel primo cassetto tengo i prodotti in polvere, i fondotinta e correttori e i prodotti per gli occhi, nel secondo i rossetti (che come sapete sono la mia passione), oltre alla Naked palette e nel terzo gli smalti. I cassetti sono piuttosto profondi, quindi possono contenere un sacco di cose! Ho inserito delle scatoline in ogni cassetto per organizzare meglio i vari prodotti e renderli più raggiungibili! Questa sistemazione per me funziona alla grande, perchè mi permette di raggiungere facilmente quello che mi serve ed è tutto nascosto all'interno del mobiletto quindi non crea un effetto disordinato nella mia stanza! Ho scelto di prendere il mobiletto in rosse per dare un tocco di colore alla mia camera! Spero vi piaccia! Vi auguro un buon fine settimana :D

Ridge filler base coat

As you may have noticed I love using nail polish but my nails are slightly ridged so for me it's very important to choose a good base. Today I want to talk you about two products I've been using for a while: Seche Vite ridge filling base coat and Deborah Lippman ridge filler nail polish. They're both pretty good in my opinion but do not expect them to get rid of the problem. Let's say it became less visible and the nail polish goes on the nail smoothly. The Seche Vite base is tinner and has a pearl finish that is not visible when you apply nail polish over. Deborah Lippman base is more tricky to work with but it's still very good and has a completely matte finish. I would recommend both of them but if you don't want to spend for the Deborah Lippman (which is definitely more expensive), the Seche Vite base is just as good! For those of you who has this problem Do you use ridge filler bases? Which one have you tried?

Come probabilmente avrete notato, amo molto gli smalti ma le mie unghie sono leggermente rigate, quindi devo prestare particolare attenzione alla base da applicare prima di stendere lo smalto. Oggi voglio parlarvi di due prodotti che sto usando da un po': la base Seche Vite ridge filler e la Deborah Lippman ridge filler, specifiche per chi ha il mio stesso problema. Sono entrambe buone secondo me, ma non aspettatevi il miracolo, le righe rimangono leggermente visibili anche se il loro aspetto è molto meno evidente e lo smalto si stende più facilmente. La base Seche Vite ha una consistenza più leggera, è molto facile da stendere ed ha una finitura perlata, che però non si vede quando applicate sopra lo smalto. Quella di Deborah Lippman è un pochino più difficile da stendere, ma è comunque ottima e ha una finitura completamente opaca. Le raccomanderei entrambe a quelle di voi che, come me, hanno questo problema, ma se non volte investire nella base Deborah Lippman (che è decisamente più cara), quella della Seche Vite è altrettanto valida! Avete mai usato delle basi liscianti come queste? Quali marche avete provato?
