I love taking care of my skin and I love to try new products so my skin care routine tends to change quite often. My latest obsession came from Selvert Thermal the famous Swiss cosmetic brand.

I had the pleasure to try their new Régéneration Absolute Line, formulated with the most advanced technologies. It contains Snail Protein Extract to help repair mature skin or skin damaged by external agents. It acts at cellular level and give skin new elasticity, structure and luminosity. Awesome right?!

The Creme Regeneratrice it’s very hydrating, perfect to use during the cooler months especially if you have dry skin. If your skin is oily or combination I recommend the gel version instead. Easy to apply, it sinks into the skin very quickly leaving it hydrated and non oily. The snail extract it’s great to soften signs of hyper pigmentation and to achive a more luminous and firm look.

The Gel eye cream is rich but not heavy, helps to softens fine lines and gently hydrates this very sensitive area of our face. The packaging is very well designed, hygienic and travel friendly.

Last but not least I tried their Instant firming vials a true must if you want to look extra glamorous for a special event! You can use them as a base for your make-up and the result is truly amazing!

Mi piace prendermi cura della mia pelle e adoro provare nuovi prodotti, quindi tendo a cambiare spesso la mia skin care routine. L’ultima novità arriva da Selvert Thermal, la famosa casa cosmetica svizzera.

Ho avuto il piacere di provare per voi alcuni prodotti della nuova linea Régéneration Absolute, formulata con le tecnologie più avanzate, che contiene Estratto Proteico della bava di lumaca. Una linea mirata a riparare la pelli mature o  le pelli che sono state danneggiate da fattori esterni, agendo a livello cellulare, donando alla pelle una nuova elasticità, struttura e luminosità. Fantastico no?

La Crema rigeneratrice è molto idratante, perfetta da usare nei mesi più freddi specialmente se avete la pelle secca, per le pelli grasse consiglio invece la versione in gel. Piacevole da applicare, questa crema si assorbe facilmente lasciando la pelle idrata e non unta. Grazie all’estratto di bava di lumaca, aiuta a schiarire le macchie lasciate dai brufoli e in generale rende l’incarnato più luminoso e compatto.

Il Gel-crema contorno occhi davvero nutriente, non appesantisce e facilita la rigenerazione cellulare, andando ad alleggerire i segni di espressione. La confezione in tubetto è igienica e comoda da trasportare se viaggiate.

Per finire ho provato le fiale flash tenseur anti rughe, un vero must per una serata speciale! Si usano come base e creano un effetto lifting istantaneo, dopo qualche minuto è possibile applicare il trucco e il risultato “wow” è assicurato!

5 NEW PRODUCTS IN MY SKIN CARE ROUTINE

I love skin care, probably even more than make-up so I’m always willing to try new products to see what’s good and what’s not. In the past months I added 5 new products to my skin care routine and I decided to share them with you.

My skin at the moment is not at its best, I have rosacea so it’s really irritated and prone to breakouts so I need to use very gentle products. I was in need of some sort of cleanser and I picked up Pschitt Magique from Garancia a foaming, micropeeling cleanser. It’s very delicate on the skin, smells amazing and it refines your complexion without irritating the skin.

I was looking for something to combact acne as well as fine lines and it looks like retion is the way to go! I chose Redermic R from La-Roche Posay and I tried to be consisten and use it every single night (you can apply up to twice a day). After a month I’m starting to see the first results and my skin appears less dull and the fine lines are not as noticeable.

If you use retionl on your skin you need to protect it from the sun so to get along with my retinol cream I got The Body Shop Skin Defence. It’s a 50+ sunscreen, very light, non sticky and it doesn’t break me out. Since the texture is so light you can apply it under make-up and the sleek packaging is perfect to throw in your purse.

Sticking with sunscreen I picked up Hydrabio SPF 30 from Bioderma a moisturizing Spf in spray form moisturizer from. I think it’s a nice alternative to The Body Shop one and the fact that is a spray is definitely more sanitary. The mist is very fine, refreshing and pleasant to apply!

When it comes to eye creams there’s always some kind of controvercy, because apparently is quite hard to see a real difference. Well I tried Patyka Radiant eye contour and although is nothing revolutionary, it worked really well for me! It has a light texture, quite liquidy, moisturizing and very easy to blend. Keeps my under-eye area hydrated, de-puffed and soft.

Amo i prodotti di skin care ancora più che i trucchi e mi piace provarne di nuovi, per scoprire quali sono i migliori (e i peggiori) sul mercato. Negli ultimi mesi ho cambiato la mia routine, introducendo alcuni nuovi prodotti che ho deciso di condividere con voi.

Al momento la mia pelle non è al top della forma, soffro di rosacea che mi causa qualche brufolo e irritazione, quindi sono obbligata ad usare prodotti molto delicati. Partendo dalla pulizia del viso, ho scelto il detergente Pschitt Magique di Garancia. È una schiuma con effetto micropeeling, ma non contiene granuli ed è delicatissima. Ha un profumo delizioso e migliora l’aspetto della pelle senza irritarla.

Stavo cercando un prodotto per combattere l’acne e qualcosa per diminuire l’aspetto delle linee d’espressione e pare che il retinolo sia la risposta ad entrambi questi problemi! Ho scelto il Redermic R di La-Roche Posay. Ho cercato di essere costante e applicarlo tutte le sere (si può utilizzare anche mattina e sera). Dopo circa un mese inizio a vedere i primi risultati e devo dire che la mia pelle appare più luminosa e compatta e le linee d’espressione sono meno evidenti.

Se si usano prodotti contenenti retinolo, bisogna applicare una protezione solare. La mia scelta è ricaduta su Skin Defence di The Body Shop. È una protezione 50+ dalla formulazione leggerissima, che non mi ha fatto venire i brufoli, non è appiccicosa ed è perfetta da applicare prima del trucco e la confezione minimal è perfetta da tenere in borsa.

Restando in tema di protezioni solari ho provato anche la Hydrabio Spf 30 di Bioderma, una protezione idratante in forma spray. La alterno alla Skin Defence e il suo formato spray rende l’applicazione on the go davvero facile, inoltre il prodotto viene spruzzato in maniera uniforme, con un piacevole effetto rinfrescante!

Quando si parla di contorno occhi, le opinioni sono sempre contrastanti ed è difficile stabilire se il prodotto in questione fa davvero la differenza. Io ho provato quello il Radiant eye contour di Patyka e anche se non è niente di rivoluzionario mi sono trovata molto bene. La sua formula leggera è piuttosto liquida e facile da applicate, lascia il contorno occhi idratato, luminoso e riduce il gonfiore.

THE BODY SHOP

I always loved The Body Shop, it reminds me of summers in London with my mum browsing through the shelves and smelling every single product in the shop. I was so sad when the store in Florence shut down and even though is not as satisfying now I shop on their website.

Every season they came up with new fragrances and the one that caught my attention was definitely Piñita Colada…sounds delicious right?! It smells like summer, like a walk on the beach, like a nice cocktail: I’m already addicted! I picked up the body butter and the shower gel both are incredible, to get along with that I also picked up the Wild Argan Oil shower gel, with is one of my favourite scents, perfect for summer and last but not least a sun screen. It’s the Skin Defence multi-protection essence a 50+ sunscreen for your face but unlike many others the formula is very thin, easy to apply and non-sticky. I’m loving it so far. The also included lots of samples that I can’t wait to get in the full size, especially Honeymania Body butter…I’m just saying.

Adoro i prodotti di The Body Shop, mi ricordano l’estate, Londra, i pomeriggi passati con mia mamma aggirandoci per gli scaffali e annusando ogni singolo prodotto. Mi è dispiaciuto un sacco quando il punto vendita di Firenze ha chiuso quindi adesso, anche se non è la stessa cosa, utilizzo il loro shop online.

Ogni stagione lanciano qualche nuova linea e quella che mi ha incuriosita di più è decisamente Piñita Colada…promette bene vero? Ha un profumo delizioso, che ricorda l’estate, la spiaggia, un delizioso cocktail: insomma un vero must! Ho preso sia il burro corpo che il bagnoschiuma e sono entrambi favolosi, ho aggiunto poi il bagnoschiuma all’Olio di Argan, una della mie linee preferite di sempre, super idratante e perfetta per l’estate. Per finire ho deciso di prendere una protezione solare per il viso. Si tratta della Skin Defence multi-protection essence ed è uno dei loro nuovi prodotti. Nonostante sia una protezione 50+ la sua texture è leggerissima, facile da applicare e soprattutto non appiccicosa. Mi sta piacendo molto e fino ad ora non mi ha irritato la pelle o fatto venire brufoli. Nella confezione che ho ricevuto c’erano anche un sacco di campioncini e ovviamente sto pianificando nuovi acquisti, come per esempio il burro corso Honeymania se vi capita, provatelo è davvero incredibile.

Lancôme Jucy Shakers

Lancôme recently launched a new range of lip products called Jucy Shakers. They look like mini cocktail shakers indeed and they're lip glosses. Like a true barista you're ment to shake them and then dab them on the lips, the consistency of this product is quite unique, it's kind of bouncy, very smooth and moisturizing. The gloss is unlike any other and it's very comfortable to wear. The shades are all very pretty and you get quite a nice selection of colors, each one have a different color and a different scent. The pigmentation is light but you can definitely see the color on the lips (especially with the darker shades). After the gloss wears off you are left with a subltle stain on your lips. I got the shade Boom-Meringue which is a lovely, sheer pink.

I think this product is really cool, another great concept from Lisa Eldridge, Lancôme creative director. Definitely go check them out and shake, shake shake ;)

Lancôme ha recentemente lanciato una nuova linea di prodotti che si chiamano Jucy Shakers. Sembrano proprio dei mini shaker per cocktail ma in realtà sono dei lip gloss. Il prodotto va agitato, proprio come farebbe un vero barista e quanto la formula è amalgamata si picchietta il prodotto sulle labbra con l'applicatore. La consistenza del gloss è davvero particolare, molto elastica, si applica in maniera facile e omogena sulle labbra con un risultato finale davvero carinissimo! I colori disponibili sono tutti molto belli e si va da colori quasi trasparenti come quello che ho preso io "Boom-Meringue" a colori più scuri, che ovviamente hanno una maggiore pigmentazione, ognuno ha una profumazione diversa. Una volta svanito il gloss, sulla labbra rimane una leggera tinta.

Questo prodotto mi è piaciuto moltissimo, un altro bel colpo da parte di Lisa Eldridge, direttore artistico della maison! Vi consiglio di provarli la prossima volta che passate in profumeria! Shake, shake, shake ;)

Shanghai where to shop: mini shopping guide 2.0

Let's talk about shopping. Shanghai is big, full of malls and to be honest after a while they all start to look the same. So depending on what you're looking for you should definitely have a plan.

If you're into beauty and skin-care you're in the right place. There are tons of different beauty shops and my favorite are Watsons, Innis Free, Tony Moly and Sephora. Sephora carries a few interesting brands that are hard to find in Europe like Boscia, Laneige, Stila as well as many widely available brands such as Lancôme, Dior, etc. but they have specific ranges of products exclusive to Asia. Most of them are sunscreens and whitening bases because having a bright, light complexion is a must in Asia. You cannot leave Shanghai without a few sheet masks in your suitcase. I mean you can find them basically anywhere!  I went a little bit crazy in that department...and I have a huge skin care post coming up so keep your eyes peeled for that!

The annoying part is that in most of the shops they don't really speak English and on the packaging there's no other language than Chinese or Korean...so it's quite hard to pick the right product for your skin...but the staff is really friendly and they'll try to help you as much as they can.

Talking about fashion Uniqlo is definitely the most popular chain there, great if you're looking for basic pieces at affordable prices but if you deeply love fashion the true gem is Xintiandi Style Shopping Center. It's not you're average Mall, there you can find an amazing selection of independent brands and really cool, unique pieces both from Chinese and international designers. If you're tired of big Malls take a stroll in the French Concession, one of my favorite parts of Shanghai. The area is filled with small boutiques, where you can find amazing jewelry, clothes, home decor as well as cafes and Bars where you can rest while enjoying a drink with your friends.

Last but not least you should absolutely check out the fake markets. There's one for technology, one for glasses and sunglasses where you can get a pair for about 30 euros and yes, you can have your eyes tested for fress!  There's also another one where you can find a little bit of everything including clothes and accessories. I went there with my friends who had been there before so they taught me a few tricks and it was really funny to found myself in such a quirky environment!

At one point I found myself in the middle of the craziest negotiation ever...one of my friends was looking for a new phone and he knew this Jimmy guy at the market...so we where there...they even gave us a bottle of water (serious business makes you thirsty) both my friends started the negotiation and after a while the counter was crammed all kind of electronics you could imagine. Then out of nowhere I became part of the game...all the three of them were tring to convince me I needed a new phone but that didn't happened in the end ;P. We went back to the hotel with Jimmy to arrange the deal and while we were sipping a delicious Mango Bellini in the lounge, he got a phone call...he sold my friend the wrong phone...so they had to go back to the market to exchange it for the right one. At that point the market was closed, but hey no big deal, you enter the empty and dark building and voilà...it all worked out fine eventually!!...for those of you who are wondering...yes one of them was Stig of course and if you enjoyed reading about our crazy stories in Shanghai don't forget to check back on blog next monday for another chapter!

Ma veniamo allo shopping. Shanghai dicevamo, è una grande città, piena di centri commerciali...e ad essere onesti dopo un po' inizieranno a sembrarvi tutti uguali. Quindi a seconda di quello che state cercando, vi consiglio di fare qualche ricerca preventiva e di prepare un piano, onde evitare di perdervi.

Se vi piacciono make-up e skin care siete nel posto giusto! Ci sono infatti tantissime profumerie e negozi che vendono prodotti di bellezza. I miei preferiti sono Watsons, Innis Free, Tony Moly and Sephora. Da Sephora troverete alcune marche interessanti che non si trovano facilmente in Italia, come Boscia, Laneige, Stila e moltissimi marchi diffusi su larga scala come Lancôme, Dior, ecc. che hanno prodotti esclusivi per il mercato asiatico, per cui vi consiglio di dare comunque un'occhiata. Per la maggior parte si tratta di protezioni solari e prodotti per schiarire la pelle, visto che in Asia avere una pelle candida è un vero must.

Ovviamente non potete andarvene senza mettere in valigia almeno un paio di maschere in tessuto. Diciamo che io mi sono lasciata prendere leggermente la mano...infatti ho in arrivo un post dedicato alla skin-care che vi consiglio di leggere se siete curiosi di saperne di più si questi prodotti!

L'unica pecca è che nella maggior parte dei negozi non parlano Inglese molto bene e sulle confezioni le indicazioni sono quasi sempre solo in Cinese o Coreano...quindi è piuttosto difficile scegliere il prodotto giusto...devo dire però che il personale si ingegna per venire in vostro aiuto e che con qualche ricerca preventiva il problema della lingua può essere aggirato.

Parlando invece di moda, la catena più popolare è decisamente Uniqlo, ottimo per trovare capi basici e di buona qulità a prezzi contenuti ma secondo me la vera perla è il centro Commerciale Xintiandi Style Shopping Center. Al suo interno troverete una selezione incredibile di capi ricercati e originali, sia di stilisti Cinesi che internazionali. Ottimo posto per scovare nuovi trend e prendere ispirazione. Se vi siete stufati dei Centri Commerciali, potete fare un giro nella French Concession, una delle mie zone preferite di Shanghai. Qui troverete tantissime, deliziose boutique che vendono gioielli, accessori, vestiti, articoli d'arredamento unici e originali. Il quartiere è pieno di café e Bar dove potrete fermarvi per una pausa e fare due chiacchiere con gli amici davanti a una birra o un caffe.

Ultimo ma non meno importante, non dimenticate di fare un salto ai vari Fake Market. C'è quello dedicato all'elettronica, quello specializzato in occhiali, dove con poco più di 30 euro vi portate via la montatura con le lenti graduate...e sì vi misurano anche la vista. Per finire c'è quello dove trovate un po di tutto, dalle valigie, alle borse ai vestiti. Ci sono stata con alcuni amici che ci erano già stati, quindi mi hanno messa in guardia sulle possibili fregature e insegnato alcuni trucchetti. Ma anche solamente per dare un'occhiata vi consiglio di farci un salto, non capita tutti i giorni di trovarsi in un ambiente così strampalato!

Vi dico solo che mi sono trovata ad assistere ad una delle negoziazioni più assurde che abbia mai visto! Uno dei miei amici stava cercando un nuovo telefono, quindi ci ha portato da Jimmy un ragazzo che lavora al mercato dell'elettronica. La cosa è andata per le lunghe e mano a mano che il tempo passava il bancone si riempiva sempre più di oggetti di elettronica di tutti i tipi: cuffie, cellulari, carica batterie, ecc. Ci hanno perfino portato delle bottigliette d'acqua (perché si sa, le migliori contrattazioni mettono sete). I miei amici erano presissimi a contrattare davanti al mio sguardo incredulo e divertito e ad un certo punto, senza che nemmeno me ne rendessi conto...in tre stavano cercando di vendermi un telefono nuovo...alla fine non ci sono riusciti ;P. Dopo un oretta tutti contenti siamo tornati verso l'albergo insieme a Jimmy per finalizzare l'acquisto e gli ultimi accordi. Stavamo sorseggiando un delizioso Mango Bellini, nella lounge quando Jimmy riceve una telefonata...aveva dato al mio amico il telefono sbagliato! Che fare quindi? Si torna al market...che però a quel punto era chiuso, ma nessun problema anche se il luogo è deserto e le luci sono spente...si entra lo stesso e in mezz'ora era tutto risolto!! ...per chi di voi se lo stasse chiedendo...sì uno di loro è Stig ovviamente e se vi è piaciuto leggere le nostre avventure a Shanghai, vi aspetto lunedì per il prossimo capitolo ;)

Potrei andare avanti per ore a raccontarvi di posti e situazioni, quindi capirete quanto è stato difficile fare una selezione. Spero comunque che il post vi sia piaciuto e di essere riuscita a darvi qualche buono spunto se vi troverete a visitare Shanghai!

Peter Thomas Roth masks

The other day I was in Sephora for my usual browse when I spotted these tiny, tiny masks from Peter Thomas Roth. I heard so many good things about them and I was looking forward to try them but the only place that sold them was Cult Beauty and didn't come around to place an order yet. Of course what I saw them in the aile of doom, I had to get them, I went for the minis so I can give you a better review once I tried them!

In the set you get a Rose Stem Cell mask, nourishing and reparative, a Pumpkin Enzyme Mask, polishing and revitalizing and a Cucumber Gel Mask detoxifying and hydrating. I'm excited to try them and of course I'll report back!! Have you tried these mask or anything from this line?

L'altro giorno ero da Sephora per il mio solito giro ricognitivo, quando ho visto questo set di maschere di Peter  Thomas Roth. È da un po' che ne sento parlare e so che in America sono un vero prodotto cult. In Europa si trovano da Cult Beauty, ma non mi ero ancora decisa a ordinarle. Ovviamente trovandole li sullo scaffale, potevo tornare a casa a mani vuote? Ho preso il mini kit, per avere l'opportunità di provarne più di una e darvi un'idea completa sulla linea!

Il set contiene la Rose Stem Cell mask, nutriente e riparatrice, la Pumpkin Enzyme Mask, esfoliante e rivitalizzante e la Cucumber Gel Mask con effetto de-tox e idratante. Non vedo l'ora di provarle e ovviamente vi farò sapere come mi sono trovata!! Voi avete mai provato niente di questa linea?

New bits from Sephora - aka mini haul

It has been a while since I last visited Sephora and I was in "need" of a browse... Well it didn't end up too badly as you can see but I still wanted to share with you what I picked up. I was intrigued by Urban Decay new brow pencil, which looks very similiar to the Anastasia brow wiz but it's way easier to find. I haven't put it to the test yet but I'll report back later with some comparisons between the two! Next I got a lipstick, which is totally Kendall Jenner inspired. I'm talking about  Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy lipstick, in th shade Insatiable Ivory, a gorgeous nude, very creamy, perfect to complete a smokey look. There were loads of new products I'd love to test out...but oh well till next time Sephora, till nex time! Era da un po' che non passavo da Sephora e l'altro giorno, non sono riuscita a resistere alla tentazione di farci un salto... Come potete vedere non è finita poi così male, ho preso solo un paio di cose, ma voglio parlarvene ugualmente. Urban Decay ha recentemente lanciato una nuova matita per sopracciglia, che somiglia notevolmente alla brow wiz di Anastasia, quindi non vedevo l'ora di provarla e magari fare un confronto tra le due. Ovviamente vi terrò aggiornati! Poi ho preso un rossetto, che confesso essere totalmente ispirato a Kendall Jenner. Parlo del rossetto Pure Color Envy di Estée Lauder, nel colore Insatiable Ivory. Un bellissimo nude rosato, piacevole da portare e dalla buona tenuta, perfetto da abbinare ad uno smokey eye. Ovviamente c'erano un sacco di altri prodotti che avrei voluto provare...ma sarà per la prossima volta! Fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate e se avete qualche nuovo prodotto da consigliarmi!

Let the count down begin!

Advent calendars reminds me of my childhood and bring back so many nice memories! So this year I couldn't resist and snapped a couple just for fun. When I was a little girl I use to have those with chocolate or little animals inside...but things have changes since then and now you get real treats inside your advent calendars! I went for L'Occitane's and Sephora's of course, they're both so pretty and festive and inside you get 24 minis including make-up, body care, skin care, etc. basically any beauty lover dream! There are so many out there but I'm pretty happy with my choice. It's something silly but it's something really nice to give and receive and try out products from a brand you love while counting down for Christmas! Share your thoughts, do you like advent calendars? Have you picked one up this year as well?

Il calendario dell'avvento mi ricorda quanto ero piccola, l'attesa per il Natale e fa riaffiorare tanti bei ricordi! Quest'anno non ho saputo resistere e ne ho presi un paio, così per divertimento! Quando ero una bambina, mia mamma mi regalava quelli con i cioccolatini o con piccoli animaletti...ma da allora direi che le cose sono cambiate e adesso esisitono calendari dell'avvento, che contengono veri e propri tesori!! Ho scelto quello dell'Occitane e quello di Sephora ovviamente, sono entrambi davvero carini e natalizi. Al loro interno troverete 24 mini prodotti che includono trucchi, skin care, prodotti da bagno, ecc. praticamente un sogno per le appassionate di make-up! In giro ce ne sono tantissimi, ma direi che sono soddisfatta della mia scelta. Ovviamente è un gioco, ma trovo che sia un modo carinissimo per provare prodotti delle nostre marche preferite, mentre si contano i giorni che mancano a Natale. My 2014

So here we are! In just a few hours it'll be the end of 2014 and today I wanted to share with you some bits from this past year. It wasn't an easy one but I have many great memories as well and I hope 2015 will bring in our lives something beautiful and exciting! See you in 2015 with loads of new posts ;)

Eccoci qui! Tra poche ore, saluteremo il 2014 e oggi ho voluto condividere con voi, una raccolta di immagini pubblicate in questo anno. Non è stato un anno facile per me e per tante persone che mi sono vicine, ma ho passato anche tantissimi bei momenti, ho visto posti nuovi, fatto nuove esperienze e conosciuto nuovi amici. Spero che il 2015 sia per tutti noi un anno pieno di cose belle e di nuove emozioni! Ci vediamo l'anno prossimo con nuovi post ;)

Liberty London goodie bag

Hello there :) Today I want to quickly share with you this awesome goodie bag I got from Liberty London...yep I spent so much money to deserve a goodie bag XD but let's just ignore that and focus on what's inside!! I got a nice Liberty's make-up bag which is in a nice water resisten material and it's big enough to fit all of my mak-up. Inside the goodie bag there was a full size body lotion in rose and lemon rind and the matching soap. I also got a sample of Sisley black rose cream mask, which promise to smooth, plump and brighten your complexion, sounds nice, ah? I altready gave this a go and it's amazing the only problem with Sisley products is they're very expensive so I don't think I'll buy the full size. Moving on I got a Lipslique (yes it's spelled like this) from Surratt a brand exclusive to Liberty, in the colour Chu-Choter a gorgeous pink. Next I found a mini Hourglass mineral primer, which I can't wait to try and a Trish McEvoy eye base essentials. The last three products are all full size and they're Eve Lom Radiance perfected flawless primer, Nars blush in Orgasm and Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara in black. Looks like I have lots of testing to do and I'll report back on these products soon so stay tuned for that! I hope you enjoyed the post and I wish you all an awesome day!!

Ciao :) Oggi voglio mostrarvi la favolosa goodie bag che ho avuto da Liberty a Londra...sì ho speso talmente tanto da meritarmi la goodie bag XD ma ignoriamo questo dettaglio e vediamo cosa c'era al suo interno!! La prima cosa è una carinissima trousse del marchio Libery, fatta in materiale resistente all'acqua e quindi facile da tenere pulita, è grande abbastanza per contenere tutti i miei trucchi. Poi c'era un bottiglione gigante di crema per il corpo nella fragranza Rosa e buccia di limone e la saponetta abbinata. Mi hanno dato anche una maschera alla rosa nera di Sisley, che promette di rendere la pelle liscia, nutrita e illuminata...niente male eh? L'ho provata e posso dirvi che mantiene le promesse anche se purtroppo, il prezzo per la confezione grande è davvero proibitivo. Un altro prodotto all'interno della goodie bag è il rossetto Lipslique (sì, si scrive proprio così) di Surratt, un marchio che si trova in esclusiva da Libery, nel colore Chu-Choter, un bellissmo rosa. Poi ho trovato un primer minerale di Hourglass, che non vedo l'ora di provare e una base occhi d Trish McEvoy. Gli ultimi tre prodotti sono tutti full-size e sono il Radiance perfected flawless primer di Eve Lom, il blush di Nars Orgasm e il mascara Smokey Eye di Bobbi Brown. Una goodie bag niente male, non pensate anche voi? A quanto pare avrò un sacco di nuovi prodotti da testare e ovviamente vi faro sapere cosa nei penso nei futuri post, quindi tornate a trovarmi. Guess who's coming to town!

For those of you who live in the Us this is nothing new but Marc Jacobs make-up line finally made it to Europe (Italy to be exact) and I'm very excited to try some of the products! I heard great things about the foundation, powders and their nail polishes so I can't wait to test them out! Have tried them? Which one is your favourite?

Finalmente esce in Italia la linea di trucchi di Marc Jacobs! Nonostante i prezzi non siano proprio abbordabili, ha riscosso un discreto successo alla sua uscita negli Stati Uniti la scorsa estate. Ho letto in giro che la qualità di alcuni prodotti tra cui fondotinta, prodotti in polvere e smalti è ottima e i colori sembrano davvero belli. La collezione è disponibile in anteprima sul sito di Sephora per i possessori della gold card e a quanto pare, sarà disponibile per tutti nella prima metà di Aprile :) Io non vedo l'ora di provare gli smalti! E voi?

Hourglass ambient lighting blush

Hello everyone! Today I got this blush in the mail and I couln'd wait to show you!! It's Hourglass Ambient Lighting blush in the shade Luminous flush. If you're not familiar with Hourglass let me give you a little background here: created by Carisa Janes in 2004 Hourglass wants to combine science, beauty and luxury in their innovative and very glamorous products! One of their most popular one is their Ambient Lighting powder, a very finely milled powder which is supposed to recreate the effect of various kind of lighting (natural, diffused, dim, etc.) on your face to hide imperfections...yes just like a Photoshop effect. In February they launched the Ambient Lighting blushes and I was really looking forward to try them. These blushers are a combination of the ambient lighting powder and a colorful blush. The effect is very luminous and so flattering. I can't wait to try more of the shades!! Have you tried any of these powders yet? I hope you like the post and I wish you all a lovely day ;)

Ciao a tutti! Oggi mi è finalmente arrivato questo blush e non vedevo l'ora di mostrarvelo!! E' uno degli Hourglass ambient lighting blush nel colore Luminous flush. Se non conoscete la Hourglass, lasciate che vi dia un po' di background: il marchio è stato creato da Carisa Janes nel 2004, con l'obiettivo di combinare scienza, bellezza e lusso in una linea di prodotti innovativi e glamour allo stesso tempo! Uno dei loro prodotti più famosi è sicuramente la Ambient Lighting powder, una cipria molto sottile, che ha lo scopo di ricreare sul viso l'effetto di vari tipi di luci (naturale, diffusa, soffusa, ecc.) per minimizzare le imperfezioni...sì proprio come se fosse un filtro di Photoshop. A Febbraio hanno lanciato gli Ambient Lighting blushes e non vedevo l'ora di provarli. Questi blush infatti combinano, la ambient lighting poweder con una polvere colorata, dando un effetto luminoso davvero bellissimo. Non vedo l'ora di provare altri colori!! My 2013 favourites

Hello everyone! Instead of doing my December favourites I decided to show you my 2013 favourites. These are products that I'd been loving through this entire year and as you can see there's quite a lot of stuff so let's jump right into it!

HAIR

When it comes to hair I like to switch up my products quite frequently because I don't want my hair to "get used" to them but Garnier Ultra Dolce almond ald lotus flower is one of my staples. It's gentle and altough it's cleansing it doesn't strip your hair and leave them very soft. I like to follow up with L'Oreal Ever Riche conditioner which is amazing and super creamy! I discovered it last summer and I fell in love with its smell and of course its conditioning power! Another one of my favourites is Phtyo 7 hydrating day cream, a leave in condioner that you can use every day to help your ends keep moist!

FACE

Even though I love my Creme de la Mer I decided to include a less expensive product which is different but as good: Embyolisse Lait-creme concentré. This is a lovely moisurizer which gives the right amount of moist ot your skin and it's nice also on my combination skin since it's not too rich. For my eyes I loved  Herborist re-energizing eye cream. It has almost a gel-like consistency, it's very fresh and does the job very well. Another Summer discovery is Clarins Gentle Exfoliator toner, as the name suggests is a toner with an exfoliating power. I love it because it's very gentle and doesn't dry my skin out. I also really loved Caudalie eau de beauté. It's just toning water that you spritz on your face but it's very refreshing, sets your make-up and has a very nice smell. For SPF the only thing I used was Kiehl's Ultra Light daily UV defense SPF 50, it's very light and you can use it as a base for your make-up. The best product of the bunch is definitely Clinique Take the day off cleansing balm! Sometimes I don't wear make up because I hate taking it off but with this cleanser all you need is 60 seconds and it removes it completely, water proof mascara included! For me it's genius!

BODY

I'm addicted to Soap & Glory Clean on me shower gel. It smells sooo good you just don't want your shower to end! Another one of my favourite is Laura Mercier Fresh fig body butter. Omg it smells so delicious and it's very moisturizing as well. For my hands I had been loving L'Occitane honey hand cream because it isn't sticky and absorbs very fast, plus I love the smell and don't even get me started on the packaging!!

I got Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream because I was curious to test if it was really as good as people says but at first I wasn't sold at all because it's very thick and oily and I didn't really know how to use it. Then I tried it on my chapped lips and did wonders so I started to use it (mainly at night) on my lips, elbows and dry skin and it really helps!

NAILS

My favourite nail polishes of 2013 are without any doubt Chanel n. 518 Cinéma a beautiful red, Opi Tickle my france which is the perfect nude and Revlon n. 028 Minted a lovely shade of mint green.

FRAGRANCE

This one was tough but my favourite fragrance this year has to be Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau so fresh. It's floral but not to overpowering I love wearing it day and night! The bottle is huge and adds a nice touch of glam to my shelf  ;)

MAKE-UP

Ok on to make-up! As you can see I have lots of products here but I wanted to include a favourite for each category so...

- Mascara: Cover Girl Lash blast volume waterproof mascara

Very black, gives my lashes volume and lenght. Max Factor False lash effect is very similar to this.

-Eye pencil: Mac Teddy

A brown pencil with a tiny bit of sparkle to line your eyes. Very beautiful and long lasting, I like to use it on my upper lash line.

- Base: Erborian BB cream au ginseng

I love Bb creams and this one is my favourite. It's not too expensive and it's good quality, gives decent coverage and has a nice lasting power. 

- Concealer: Nars radiant creamy concealer

I love this concealer so much. I use a light shade to brighten my under eye area and one that matches my skin tone to hide any imperfection.

- Eye shadow: Mac paint pot in Painterly, Rimmel Scandalize liquid eyeshadow in Rich Russet, Urban Decay Naked basics palette

When it comes to eye shadow these are my staples! I use Painterly as a primer/base and Rish Russet or my Naked basics palette to create my look. I like wearing neutrals as you can see XD

-Lips: Mac Plumful, Mac Syrup, Clinique Chubby stick intense in Roomiest Rose and NYX lipgloss in Tea Rose

I love lipsticks I have too many and I keep buying them (yes there's kindof a problem...) so I have to include 4! Syrup is a very natural shade of nude which is quite flattering, while Plumful is opf course a plum but very sheer. Roomiest Rose is pink red, very bright but not to in your face and Tea Rose is a very creamy, berry lip gloss.

-Powders: Mac Mineralize skin finish natural, Chanel Les Beiges in n. 50, Chanel blush in n. 76 Frivole

I love Chanel Les Beiges, I use it to bronzer all over and I like the natural result it gives, is not too orange or intense, it's just right! For blusher my favourite is Frivole, a very pretty pechy shade and I use Mac Mineralize skin finish to set my make-up.

- Tools: She Uemura eyelash curler

I have very flat ans short eyelashes so for my a good curl make a huge difference and I like to use Shu Uemura eyelash curler because it's the best one I've tried so far ;)

Ciao a tutti! Invece di fare un post sui miei prodotti preferiti di Dicembre, ho deciso di parlarvi dei miei preferiti del 2013. Questi sono i prodotti che ho amato durante l'anno appena passato e come vedete sono un bel po', quindi senza ulteriore indugio cominciamo!

CAPELLI

Quanto si tratta della cura dei capelli mi piace cambiare spesso i prodotti che uso, perchè non voglio che "si abituino" al prototto rendendolo meno efficace, ma quello che ricompro sempre è lo shampo Garnier Ultra Dolce alla mandorla e fiori di loto. E' molto delicato e anche se pulisce i capelli in profondità mpm lo secca, lasciandoli morbidissimi. Mi piace seguire con il balsamo L'Oreal Ever Riche, che è davvero favolosoe cremosissimo! L'ho scoperto questa estate e non me ne sono più separata. Un altro prodotto che adoro è Phtyo 7 hydrating day cream, un blasamo da usare sui capelli asciutti che aiuta a idratare le punte durante il giorno!

VISO

Anche se adoro la mia Creme de la Mer, ho deciso di scegliere un prodotto meno costoso ma altrettanto efficace, ovvero la crema di Embyolisse Lait-creme concentré. E' una crema idratante davvero ottima, che da alla pelle il giusto apporto di idratazione. Non è troppo ricca, per questo è perfetta anche per la mia pelle mista. Come contorno occhi ho adorato la re-energizing eye cream di Herborist. E' quasi un gel, molto fresco e delicato. Un altro prodotto che ho scoperto questa estate è il Gentle Exfoliator toner di Clarins. Come dice il nome è un tonico con proprietà esfolianti e lo adoro proprio per la sua delicatezza e perchè non secca la pelle. Ho usato moltissimo anche la eau de beauté di Caudalie. E' semplicemente un'acqua che si spruzza sul viso ed è molto rinfrescantem, aiuta a fissare il trucco e ha un profumo di erbe molto piacevole. Come protezione solare per il viso l'unico prodotto che ho usato è la Ultra Light daily UV defense SPF 50 di Kiehl's , è davvero leggerissima, ottima anche come base per il trucco. Il mio prodotto preferito in questo gruppo è senza dubbio il cleansign balm Take the day off di Clinique! A volte non mi trucco perchè odio poi dovermi struccare (e non vado mai a letto truccata), ma con questio prodotto ci vogliono solo 60 secondi e porta via tutto, incluso il mascara waterproof! Secondo me è un prodotto geniale!

CORPO

Sono follemente innamorata del bagnoschiuma di Soap & Glory Clean on me. Ha un profumo talmente buono che non uscirei mai dalla doccia! Un altro prodotto che adoro è il burro per il corpo al fico di Laura Mercier. E' semplicemente divino e da un'ottima idratazione. Come crema per le mani la mia preferita è la crema al miele di L'Occitane, perchè non è appiccicosa, si assorbe velocemente, ha un profumo ottimo e non fatemi nemmeno iniziare a parlare della confezione!!

Ho preso la 8 hour cream di Elizabeth Arden perchè volevo vedere, se era davvero così fantastica come tutti dicono, ma all'inizio non mi è piacuta affatto perchè è molto pesante e oleosa e soprattutto non sapevo come usarla. Poi ho provato e metterla sulle labbra screpolate e ha fatto miracoli,quindi ho inziato a usarla (soprattutto la sera) sulle labbra, i gomiti e le parti più secche del corpo, la adoro!

UNGHIE

I miei smalti preferiti del 2013 sono senza alcun dubbio Chanel n. 518 Cinéma un bellissimo rosso, Opi Tickle my france il nude perfetto e Revlon n. 028 Minted una bellissima tonalità di verde menta.

PROFUMO

Questa è stata una decisione difficile, ma il mio profumo preferito è Daisy Eau so fresh di Marc Jacobs. Ha una fragranza floreale, molto delicata e mi piace indossarlo sia di gioro che di sera! La bottiglia poi è enorme, dira un sacco di tempo e aggiunge un tocco glam alla mia libreria ;)

TRUCCO

Ok passiamo al trucco! Come potete vedere ho un sacco di prodotti di cui parlare, ma volevo includerne uno per ogni categoria quindi...

- Mascara: Cover Girl Lash blast volume waterproof mascara

Molto nero, da alle mie ciglia lunghezza e volume. Un'alternativa più facile da reperire è il False lash effect di Max Factor.

-Matita per occhi: Mac Teddy

Marrone con qualche brillantino è perfetta per sottolineare lo sguardo. Ottima alternativa al nero, dura un sacco e mi piace usarla all'attaccatura delle ciglia superiori o al posto dell'eye liner.

- Base: Erborian BB cream au ginseng

Amo le Bb cream e questa è la mia preferita. Non costa molto ma è di buona qualità, da una copertura decente e dura a lungo. 

- Correttore: Nars radiant creamy concealer

Questo correttore mi piace moltissimo, uso una tonalità più chiara per illuminare la zona sotto gli occhie uno del mio colore per nascondere le imperfezioni.

- Ombretto: Mac paint pot in Painterly, Rimmel Scandalize liquid eyeshadow in Rich Russet, Urban Decay Naked basics palette

Quando si parla di ombretti, questi sono i miei irrinunciabili! Uso Painterly come primer/base e Rich Russet o la Naked basics palette per creare il look che preferisco. Come vedete mi piaccionoi colori neutri XD

-Labbra: Mac Plumful, Mac Syrup, Clinique Chubby stick intense in Roomiest Rose and NYX lipgloss in Tea Rose

Adoro i rossetti e ammetto di averne troppi anche se continuo a comprarli (sì diciamo che ho un problema...), quindi ne ho dovuti includere 4! Syrup è un nude molto naturale e che sta bene a tutte mentre Plumful è più intenso, un colro prugna molto trasparente. Roomiest Rose è un rosso dai toni rosati, intenso ma non troppo e Tea Rose è un cremosissimo lip gloss color lampone.

-Powders: Mac Mineralize skin finish natural, Chanel Les Beiges in n. 50, Chanel blush in n. 76 Frivole

Les Beiges di Chanel è una linea bellissima, io ho preso un colore scuro per usarlo come terra e dare una scaldata ai toni del mio viso, non è troppo intenso o arancione è semplicemente perfetto! Come fard il mio preferito è Frivole, una bellissima tonalità pesca e per finire uso un velo di Mac Mineralize per fissare il trucco.

- Accessori: She Uemura eyelash curler

Le mie ciglia sono piatte e cortine, quindi per me usare un piegaciglia fa davvero la differenza! Il mio preferito è quello di Shu Uemura, perchè è il migliore che ho provato fino a oggi ;)
