Hello everyone! Father's Day is getting closer and if you're still looking for a gift for your Dad my little gift guide might came in handy. I included a little bit of everything from the most classic tie to something more adventurous. I don't know about you but my Dad is extremely difficult to please so I have to get very creative to find something he might like. So when I found out about Man Crates website I thought it was the place to be XD Basically it's a website where you can find very cool gifts for the men in your life. They have a huge selection of crates that comes in a set or that you can personalize and fill with drinks, games, food, movies...well you get the gist there's something for everyone. They have a Father's Day Gift section as well so you should absolutely check it out. 

Regardless be sure to spend a little more time with your Dad on that day because there's nothing more precious than sharing good memories with someone you love.

So cosa state pensando...la Festa del Papà è passata da un pezzo, ma in Inghilterra e in America verrà festeggiata il 21 giugno e ho pensato di fare una guida per i miei lettori stranieri. E poi diciamocelo, una guida ai regali da uomo fa sempre comodo no?! ;P Mentre cercavo ispirazione ho trovato un sito chiamato Man Crates che è davvero originale. Praticamente propone dei kit, preconfezionati o personalizzabili, che arrivano in una cassa di legno e afferma di poter accontentare qualsiasi uomo, anche quello più difficile! In effetti sul sito c'è davvero di tutto, dal set per fare la birra, al kit per il poker, ai videogiochi...insomma è davvero difficile non trovare qualcosa che faccia al caso vostro e soprattutto penso sia un'idea carinissima alla quale ispirarsi! Hi everyone, so it's monday again...and I think this is the perfect time to have some fun and show you my wish list! As you can see I'm really into black at the moment...to be completely honest with you I'm always into black XD I'm lusting over those Dior sunnies, aren't they gorgeous? I like their simple yet edgy shape and I'd love to try them on to see if the suit me, since with sunglasses you'll never know. Lace up flats are super popular right now and my favourite are Aquazzura Christy flats. I love the little, golden heel and the laces give the shoes a very sexy vibe. Ciao a tutti, è di nuovo lunedì...quindi ho pensato che fosse il momento perfetto per divertirci un po' insieme, esplorando la mia wish list! Come potete vedere, al momento sono fissata con il nero...a dire il vero, sono sempre fissata con il nero, ma va beh XD Adoro questi occhiali da sole di Dior, li trovo davvero originali, pur essendo minimali nella forma. Mi piacerebbe molto provarli, per vedere se mi stanno bene, visto che con gli occhiali da sole non si sa mai. Le ballerine con i lacci sono molto popolari al momento e le mie preferite sono le Christy di Aquazzurra. Trovo che il piccolo tacco dorato sia delizioso e i lacci diano alla scarpa un tocco super femminile. Spero che la mia wish list del mese vi sia piaciuta e vi auguro una buona giornata!

Hello everyone! Yes as you can see I'm on holiday mode...even though I'm not going on holiday till mid August I think...but oh well! I really love straw bags for summer, they have a nice vintage look to me. I like mine to be very classic, like this one from J. Crew :) I need new flip flops and I wouldn't mind these from Hollister, they look cuter than you're average flip flops don't they? Of course I need a swimsuit but for me it's always a challenge to find one that I like and that fits nicely...we'll see what I can find!

Ebbene sì, come vedete la mia mente è in modalità vacanziera...solo la mia mente perchè penso proprio che per andarci davvero in vacanza, dovrò aspettare metà agosto...ma intanto sognamo un po' no?! Amo le borse di paglia in estate, mi piace il loro aspetto vintage e per me, ne sceglierei una molto semplice, proprio come questa di J. Crew :) Ho bisogno di un nuovo paio di ciabattine da mare e queste di Hollister sono proprio carine, non trovate anche voi? Ovviamente poi mi servirebbe un costume, ma trovarne uno che mi piaccia e che mi stia bene per me è sempre una sfida...vedremo cosa riesco a trovare! Spero che la mia wish list vi sia piaciuta! London shopping guide

 

So when it cames to shopping London can be quite overwhelming so I decided to share with you a mini shopping guide hoping it may came in handy for some of you :)

My main focus when I go shopping in a foreign country is to get products that I can't really get or try where I live. In order to avoid walking a thousand miles to get from one store to another I do my research online to find where I can get the things I'm mostly interested in and where the shops are located so that I can plan my little tour. Then I write down a list of all the things I want to try/buy and leave some space for unespected purchases.

When it comes to clothing my favourite store is definitely Top Shop!  They have an amazing selection of clothes and accessories and the prices are not too high. They also offers a personal shopper service which is completely free, so relax and get ready to experience some fun! & Other Stories is always on my list :) beautiful clothes, shoes, accessories, make-up and skin care in super pretty and sleek packagings. If you're more on a budget London offers you loads of nice stores where you can go crazy without spending a fortune. The king is definitely Primark! I noticed the prices has gone up since last time I went there but they're still pretty cheap. Usually it's very busy and trying on things is not always an option so try to get there quite early to be sure to have some space to look around. Another nice, affordable store is Monki, a swedish brand, where you can find lots of fun colorful pieces! Don't forget to check out New Look and Forever21 where you can find a endless amount of clothes and accessories inspired by the most popular brands but at an afforable price.

London offers you a wide selection of American brands that in the last few years opened their first stores in Europe. We're more on the expensive side here, but in my opinion they're worth it! I'm talking about Anthropology, J. Crew and Victoria's Secret! If you've been to the States you'll know what I'm talking about and let me tell you: they're awesome stores!

Talking about department stores I have to mention my absolute favourites. Harrods is a place you just don't wanna miss! My favourite part is actually they're food hall, just awesome. Liberty's is my mom's favourite and yes, mine as well. It's a gorgeous store and has the best beauty hall ever. There you can find brands such as Hourglass, Shu Uemura and Bobbi Brown. Last one I'm going to mention is Selfridges, I love they're yellow bags :D This department store is massive and the beauty section is incredible! They also have Charlotte Tilbury's products which are awesome!

Last but not least I'm going to mention a few make-up stores. Space Nk is a just heaven if you love make-up, they have an incredible selection of unique brands in sleek, elegant shelves. Boots and Superdrug are the most popular and there you can find very affordable brands such as BerryM (awesome nail polishes), Soap & Glory, Revlon, Rimmel, Sleek, Real Tecnique, N°7, together with a massive amount of body care, hair care, etc. From time to time they do discounts or give you coupons, which is always nice.

Quando si parla di shopping a Londra, diciamo che è facile venire sopraffatti dalla quantità di negozi che ci sono. Per questo ho deciso di mettere insieme una piccola guida allo shopping che magari potrà essere utile a qualcuno di voi, se avete in programma una gita fuori porta :)

Quando vado all'estero, generalmente concentro la mia attenzione sui prodotti che non trovo o non posso provare dove vivo. Per evitare di ritrovarmi a fare chilometri per andare da un posto all'altro alla ricerca di un particolare prodotto, prima di partire faccio una ricerca online per vedere dove sono i negozi che mi interessano e per poter pianificare il mio piccolo tour. A questo punto faccio una lista delle cose che voglio prendere, lasciando un po' di posto per cose che potrei non aver pianificato.

Parlando di abbigliamento, il negozio che preferisco è sicuramente Top Shop!  Hanno una selezione di abiti e accessori davvero pazzesca e i prezzi non sono malissimo. In alcuni negozi offrono anche un serivizio, completamente gratuito, di personal shopper quindi non ci rimane che rilassarci e goderci la nostra shopping experience! & Other Stories è un altro dei miei negozi preferiti :) vestiti carinissimi, accessori, scarpe, trucchi e prodotti viso/corpo in confezioni minimal, davvero deliziose. Se avete un budget limitato, Londra offre un numero infinito di negozi carinissimi, dove potete darvi alla pazza gioia senza spendere una fortuna. Il migliore è decisamente Primark! Rispetto all'ultima volta che ci ero stata, ho notato che i prezzi sono un po' aumentati, ma sono comunque economici. Di solito è un negozio molto frequentato e provarsi le cose non è sempre possibile a meno che non vogliate affrontare lunghissime code, il mio consiglio quindi è di andarci presto la mattina per poter avere una chance di non trovarci la classica ressa. Un'altro negozio carino e a prezzi accessibili è  Monki, catena svedese, dove troverete moltissimi capi di abbigliamento divertenti e colorati! Non dimenticate poi di passare da New Look e Forever21 dove si trova una quantità infinita di vestiti e accessori ispirati a quelli di marchi famosi, ma a prezzi contenuti.

Londra offre inoltre una vasta selezione di catene americane, che recentemente hanno aperto i loro primi punti vendita europei. Ovviamente qui si parla di negozi più costosi ma a mio avviso vale la pena farci un salto. Sto parlando di Anthropology, J. Crew e Victoria's Secret! Se siete stati in America saprete benissimo perchè li adoro e lasciate che ve lo dica sono fantastici!

Parlando invece di Grandi magazzini, visto che ce ne sono davvero moltissimi, mi limiterò a parlarvi dei miei preferiti. E il primo è Harrods, una meta davvero irrinunciabile! La mia sezione preferita è quella dedicata al cibo, un vero sogno. Liberty's è il preferito di mia mamma e sì, vi confesso che è anche il mio. E' un posto stupendo e la sua sezione beauty è davvero unica. Troverete tra i tanti marchi disponibili Hourglass, Shu Uemura e Bobbi Brown. L'ultimo che menzionerò è Selfridges. Come si fa a non adorare le loro buste gialle? E' un Grande magazzino davero enorme, dove si trova di tutto specialmente i marchi più costosti e anche qui la sezione beauty è molto fornita. Tra i marchi disponibili vi segnalo Charlotte Tilbury's, bellissime confezioni e prodotti di qualità!

Per finire vi segnalo alcune profumerie. Space Nk è il paradiso di ogni make-up lover, i suoi scaffali minimal e ordinatissimi, sono pieni di prodotti unici e alcuni di questi sono difficili da trovare altrove. Boots e Superdrug sono invece i negozi più diffusi, dove troverete un sacco di marche a basso costo come BerryM (famosa per gli smalti), Soap & Glory, Revlon, Rimmel, Sleek, Real Tecnique, N°7, oltre ad una quantità incredibile di prodotti per corpo, capelli, ecc. A volte fanno delle promozioni oppure vi danno dei coupon, che è sempre cosa gradita.

A little break from my London posts (there's a shopping guide coming...I'm jusy saying...) to share with you my May wish list. It's never too late for a wish list, is it? This month I almost forgot about it but here we are!! I love that yellow dress from Zara, I'm not really sure if I can pull it of but if I see one in store I'm going to try! I'm also looking for some new Chuck Taylors these eyelet canvas are so unique but still kinda subtle, love them! Non è mai troppo tardi quandi si tratta di wish list, vero? Questo mese mi ero quasi dimenticata di postarla, ma eccoci qua! Sono innamorata di questo abito giallo di Zara, non so se mi ci vedo fino in fondo ma se lo trovo in negozio farò di tutto per farlo funzionare! Sto cercando delle nuove Converse e queste nere,cricamate sono deliziose, particolari al punto giusto senza essere troppo eccentriche! January Favourites

Hello everyone! It's time again to talk about my monthly favourites, so let's get started!

BODY 

These two products I picked up while I was in Berlin. I'm talking about Soap & Glory Flake Away body scrub and & Other Stories body lotion in Fig Fiction! I heard so many good things about Soap & glory scrubs so I was really looking forward to try one! I picked up Flake Away mainly because of its delicious smell. It's very gentle too and leaves the skin baby soft! I got Fig Fiction body lotion mainly because I'm obsessed with anything fig scented and I love & Other Stories little bottles! 

HAIR

This month I decided to try a new conditioner from Lush. It was on sale so I thought why not? It's called Happy happy joy joy and it's a nice light conditioner with orange blossom, rose and almond milk. It smells so fresh and delicious you want to eat it! The perfume lingers in your hair for quite a while but it's not too overpowering! 

FACE
Aesop Parsley seed mask is my new favourite! It's a clay-based mask that deep cleanse your skin but it's very gentle so it's good to use even if you have sensitive or dry skin! Another favourite of mine is Soap & Glory Make yourself youthful eye cream. It's not too thick but leaves your eye area soft and moist!

MAKE-UP

For make up I've been loving NYX blush in Dusty Rose and NYX lipgloss in Beige...which as you can see it's a neutral pink...luckily not beige at all XD They're both perfect to create a natural effortless look! For my brows I like to use Smashbox brow tech to go in taupe which is a creamy/waxy pencil for your brows on one end and on the other end has a light brown mascara to keep them in place, genius! The last product it a redesicovery for me and I'm talking about YSL touche eclat. I had it for a while but I wasn't really using it much, while in the past month I fell for it all over again! I like to use it to brighten up my under eye area, the bridge of the nose etc. and I'm realy loving it!

FRAGRANCE

This month I fell in love all over again with my Kate Moss Velvet our perfume! I got this a few years ago for really cheap but I love this fragrance, it's very fresh and has a spicy note that is not too strong but you can definitely smell :) Plus I love Kate Moss!

RANDOM
To wrap it up I decided to include two of my most worn pieces of jewelry: J. Crew chain bracelet and & Other Story ring. I love them both so much and I find they can add that little something even to the most boring of the ouftfits!

Ciao a tutti! Ci risiamo, è tempo di parlare dei miei preferiti del mese!! Cominciamo quindi!

CORPO

Ho preso entrambi questi prodotti mentre ero a Berlino, sto parlando dello scrub Fake Away di Soap & Glory e della lozione per il corpo Fig Fiction di &Other Stories! Ho sempre sentito parlare molto bene degli scrub di Soap & glory, quindi non vedevo l'ora di provarne uno! Alla fine ho scelto Flake Away, principalmente per il suo profumo delizioso, ma devo dire che non ha deluso le aspettative, è delicato e lascia la belle morbidissima! Fig Fiction l'ho preso invece, perchè adoro i prodotti che profumano di fichi e adoro le confezioni di & Other Stories! 

CAPELLI

Questo mese ho deciso di provare un nuovo balsamo di Lush, erano in saldo quindi mi sono detta perchè no? Ho preso Pazza Idea, un balsamo leggero che contiene fiori d'arancio, rose e latte di mandorla. Ha davvero un profumo squisito, talmente buono che viene voglia di mangiarlo e la fragranza rimane nei capelli per un bel po' senza essere però troppo intensa e quindi fastidiosa.

 

VISO
La maskera Parsley seed di Aesop è la mia nuova preferita! E' una maschera all'argilla che pulisce la pelle in profondità, ma è davvero delicata quindi perfetta anche per pelli sensibili o secche! Un altro prodotto che ho usato molto è il contorno occhi Make yourself youthful Soap & Glory Make. E' una crema non troppo pesante che lascia il contorno occhi idratato  e luminoso!

TRUCCHI

Per quanto riguarda i trucchi ho adorato il blush di NYX nel colore Dusty Rose e il lipgloss, sempre di NYX, nel colore Beige...che fortunatamente come potete vedere è un rosa naturale...niente a che vedere con il beige XD Questi prodotti sono entrambi perfetti per creare un look da tutti i giorni davvero naturale. Per le sopracciglia mi piace usare la matita di Smashbox, Brow tech to go nel colore taupe. In pratica è una matita per sopracciglia dalla consistenza cremosa/cera da un lato, mentre dall'altro lato trovate un mascara colorato per fissare il tutto. Geniale! L'ultimo prodotto di questo gruppo è una riscoperta per me, sto parlando del Touche Eclat di YSL. Lo avevo da un po' ma avevo smesso di usarlo, invece ultimamente me ne sono innamorata di nuovo. Mi piace usarlo per illuminare la zona del contorno occhi, la parte superiore del naso ecc. lo adoro!

PROFUMO

Anche questa è una riscoperta, infatti ho comprato il Velvet Hour perfume di Kate Moss, alcuni anni fa in sconto e era da un pezzo che non lo usavo. In questo mese è l'unico profumo che ho messo, ha una fragranza fresca ma con delle note speziate, non troppo forti, ma che si sentono e rendono particolre questo profumo che ador :)in più adoro Kate Moss!

Per finire ho deciso di includere due degli accessori che ho usato più spesso questo mese. Si tratta del braccialetto a catena di J. Crew e l'anello di & Other Story preso a Berlino. Li adoro entrambi e trovo che siano perfetti per rendere il più semplice dei look, un po' più interessante!

Questo è l'ultimo post della mia guida ai regali di Natale e per concludere ho pensato di fare una selezione di regalini meno costosi, infatti tutti gli oggetti che vedete costano dai 20 euro in giù!
