January Favourites

Hello everyone! It's time again to talk about my monthly favourites, so let's get started!

BODY 

These two products I picked up while I was in Berlin. I'm talking about Soap & Glory Flake Away body scrub and & Other Stories body lotion in Fig Fiction! I heard so many good things about Soap & glory scrubs so I was really looking forward to try one! I picked up Flake Away mainly because of its delicious smell. It's very gentle too and leaves the skin baby soft! I got Fig Fiction body lotion mainly because I'm obsessed with anything fig scented and I love & Other Stories little bottles! 

HAIR

This month I decided to try a new conditioner from Lush. It was on sale so I thought why not? It's called Happy happy joy joy and it's a nice light conditioner with orange blossom, rose and almond milk. It smells so fresh and delicious you want to eat it! The perfume lingers in your hair for quite a while but it's not too overpowering! 

FACE
Aesop Parsley seed mask is my new favourite! It's a clay-based mask that deep cleanse your skin but it's very gentle so it's good to use even if you have sensitive or dry skin! Another favourite of mine is Soap & Glory Make yourself youthful eye cream. It's not too thick but leaves your eye area soft and moist!

MAKE-UP

For make up I've been loving NYX blush in Dusty Rose and NYX lipgloss in Beige...which as you can see it's a neutral pink...luckily not beige at all XD They're both perfect to create a natural effortless look! For my brows I like to use Smashbox brow tech to go in taupe which is a creamy/waxy pencil for your brows on one end and on the other end has a light brown mascara to keep them in place, genius! The last product it a redesicovery for me and I'm talking about YSL touche eclat. I had it for a while but I wasn't really using it much, while in the past month I fell for it all over again! I like to use it to brighten up my under eye area, the bridge of the nose etc. and I'm realy loving it!

FRAGRANCE

This month I fell in love all over again with my Kate Moss Velvet our perfume! I got this a few years ago for really cheap but I love this fragrance, it's very fresh and has a spicy note that is not too strong but you can definitely smell :) Plus I love Kate Moss!

RANDOM
To wrap it up I decided to include two of my most worn pieces of jewelry: J. Crew chain bracelet and & Other Story ring. I love them both so much and I find they can add that little something even to the most boring of the ouftfits!

Ciao a tutti! Ci risiamo, è tempo di parlare dei miei preferiti del mese!! Cominciamo quindi!

CORPO

Ho preso entrambi questi prodotti mentre ero a Berlino, sto parlando dello scrub Fake Away di Soap & Glory e della lozione per il corpo Fig Fiction di &Other Stories! Ho sempre sentito parlare molto bene degli scrub di Soap & glory, quindi non vedevo l'ora di provarne uno! Alla fine ho scelto Flake Away, principalmente per il suo profumo delizioso, ma devo dire che non ha deluso le aspettative, è delicato e lascia la belle morbidissima! Fig Fiction l'ho preso invece, perchè adoro i prodotti che profumano di fichi e adoro le confezioni di & Other Stories! 

CAPELLI

Questo mese ho deciso di provare un nuovo balsamo di Lush, erano in saldo quindi mi sono detta perchè no? Ho preso Pazza Idea, un balsamo leggero che contiene fiori d'arancio, rose e latte di mandorla. Ha davvero un profumo squisito, talmente buono che viene voglia di mangiarlo e la fragranza rimane nei capelli per un bel po' senza essere però troppo intensa e quindi fastidiosa.

 

VISO
La maskera Parsley seed di Aesop è la mia nuova preferita! E' una maschera all'argilla che pulisce la pelle in profondità, ma è davvero delicata quindi perfetta anche per pelli sensibili o secche! Un altro prodotto che ho usato molto è il contorno occhi Make yourself youthful Soap & Glory Make. E' una crema non troppo pesante che lascia il contorno occhi idratato  e luminoso!

TRUCCHI

Per quanto riguarda i trucchi ho adorato il blush di NYX nel colore Dusty Rose e il lipgloss, sempre di NYX, nel colore Beige...che fortunatamente come potete vedere è un rosa naturale...niente a che vedere con il beige XD Questi prodotti sono entrambi perfetti per creare un look da tutti i giorni davvero naturale. Per le sopracciglia mi piace usare la matita di Smashbox, Brow tech to go nel colore taupe. In pratica è una matita per sopracciglia dalla consistenza cremosa/cera da un lato, mentre dall'altro lato trovate un mascara colorato per fissare il tutto. Geniale! L'ultimo prodotto di questo gruppo è una riscoperta per me, sto parlando del Touche Eclat di YSL. Lo avevo da un po' ma avevo smesso di usarlo, invece ultimamente me ne sono innamorata di nuovo. Mi piace usarlo per illuminare la zona del contorno occhi, la parte superiore del naso ecc. lo adoro!

PROFUMO

Anche questa è una riscoperta, infatti ho comprato il Velvet Hour perfume di Kate Moss, alcuni anni fa in sconto e era da un pezzo che non lo usavo. In questo mese è l'unico profumo che ho messo, ha una fragranza fresca ma con delle note speziate, non troppo forti, ma che si sentono e rendono particolre questo profumo che ador :)in più adoro Kate Moss!

RANDOM
Per finire ho deciso di includere due degli accessori che ho usato più spesso questo mese. Si tratta del braccialetto a catena di J. Crew e l'anello di & Other Story preso a Berlino. Li adoro entrambi e trovo che siano perfetti per rendere il più semplice dei look, un po' più interessante!

Pamper monday

I don't really like mondays so every once in while I turn my boring monday night into a pamper night! It's such a treat and set me in a good mood for the rest of the week! I like to fill my tub and take a relaxing bath using a Lush bath bomb, tonight I'm going to use Rocking Rose! I apply a face mask and my favourite right now is Aesop Parsley seed mask, it is a clarifying mask and leaves your skin super soft and cleansed! I also like to apply a hair mask like Macadamia Natural Oil deep repaire mask that smells incredible and leaves your hair soft and nourished. The final touch is using a good scrub both on my body and lips. For my lips I use the Lush one, but you can easily do it at home with some sugar and honey. For my body I'm currently using Soap & Glory Flake Away which is very gentle and has a delicious smell! Oh before starting your pamper night don't forget to turn off your phone and to lit a candle or two if you fancy! Do you like pamper nights too?

Non amo molto il lunedì, così a ogni tanto trasformo una noiosa serata in una serata dedicata di coccole! Trovo che sia un ottimo modo per rilassarsi e in più mi mette di buon umore per affrontare la settimana! Per prima cosa riempio la vasca da bagno e se ce l'ho, uso una ballistica di Lush, stasera sarà il turno di Rocking Rose! Applico uno maschera sul viso e al momento la mia preferita è la Parsley seed mask di Aesop. E' una maschera purificante che lascia la pelle morbidissima e pulita! Mi piace anche applicare una maschera sui capelli, come la Macadamia Natural Oil deep repaire mask, che ha un profumo delizioso e lascia i capelli morbidi e nutriti. Il tocco finale è un buono scrub, sia per il corpo che per le labbra. Per le labbra uso quello di Lush, ma potete benissimo farlo in casa con un po' di zucchero e miele e per il corpo sto usandto Flake Away di Soap & Glory, molto delicato e dal profumo delizioso!! Ovvimente prima di inziate ricordatevi di spengere il cellulare e magari accendere una paio di candele per creare l'atmosfera perfetta! Shopping in Berlin - haul

Hi everyone! Here we are with my Berlin haul! As you can see I got a little bit crazy there and I have to admit that this isn't even all...I have a couple more things which I couldn't take home in my carry-on so my friends who are coming home for Christmas kindly offered to take them back :)

I have been to Berlin before but I didn't remember there were so many nice shops! There is literally a ton of them and so it might be a little overwhelming...My favourite shop was & Other Stories, I'd been wanting to go for such a long time that I couldn't wait to see one in person! In Berlin there are three shops all very nice and well organized. The packaging of the beauty products is so pretty that I wanted to take them all XD I loved their jewelry and clothes as well!

Then I went to KaDeWe a massive department store where you can find a little bit of everything! It was all decorated for Christmas so it was really pretty! The make-up and beauty department is amazing and I managet to find a mini Diptique candle in figuer, my favourite scent! Another place I loved was the Dussmann a book shop on Friedrichstrasse open till midight that has an amazing section of english books! Muji was next! I love that shop sooo much :) In Douglas I found most of the make-up you see above including NYX products! Last shop I'm going to mention is Aesop. I've been after their Parsley seed mask for months and I didn't even know there was an Aesop shop in Berlin! I was walking down the street in Mitte, when I saw it and I had to go inside! The lady in the store told me it opened just three months ago! Here you can find the adress if you're interested :)

Ciao a tutti! Ecco il mio bottino berlinese! Come potete vedere mi sono data alla pazza gioia e devo ammettere che questo non è nemmeno tutto...infatti ho preso un altro paio di cose che non entravano nel mio bagaglio a mano, così i miei amici che sarebbero tornati in Italia per Natale si sono gentilmente offerti di portarle loro per me :)

Ero già stata a Berlino ma non mi ricordavo il quantitavo di negozi stupendi che sono! Davvero sono talmente tanti che si ha la sensazione di non sapere più dove guardare! Il posto che ero più impaziente di visitare è stato senza dubbio & Other Stories, era da quanto ha aperto che volevo andarci, quindi non vedevo l'ora di vederlo di persona! A Berlino ci sono tre punti vendita, tutti piuttosto grandi e forniti, le confezioni dei trucchi e dei prodotti di bellezza sono  favolose, infatti volevo portarmele via tutte XD e mi sono piaciuti molto anche la bigiotteria e i vestiti!

Un altro posto dove siamo stati è il KaDeWe, un mega centro commerciale dove si trova davvero di tutto e decorato per Natale è davvero bellissimo! La sezione dedicata ai trucchi e alla cura del corpo è fantastica e li sono riuscita a trovare la mini candela al fico di Dipdique, una delle mie profumazioni preferite! Altro posto che mi è piaciuto moltissimo è la libreria Dussmann che si trova su Friedrichstrasse, è aperta fino a mezzanotte e ha una selezione incredibile di libri in inglese! Poi Muji che amo alla follie e Douglas dove ho trovato i prodotti della NYX! L'ultimo negozio di cui vi voglio parlare è quello di Aesop. Erano mesi che volevo prendere la loro Parsley seed mask e non mi aspettavo proprio di trovarlo a Berlino! Stavamo camminado per il quartiere di Mitte quando l'ho visto e ovviamente sono dovuta entrare, la ragazza dietro il bancone, mi ha spiegato che il negozio ha apero solo 3 mesi fa.
