Winter lookbook #1

Hello everyone! As I promised here you can see how my new hat looks on me :) I really like it, do you? I paired it with one of my favourite looks: jeans, boots and a cozy sweater! I hope you like it and I wish you all a nice weekend!

Looking for the perfect hat

Every Winter I feel the need to get a hat and no, I'm not talking about those wool hat to keep your head warm...I'm talking a full-on fancy hat that in my mind will look very chic and glamorous! Usually it doesn't take long to realize how hard it is to find a good quality hat that looks nice on me as well (duh?). Of course this year was no exception and I went crazy looking everywhere to find my perfect hat, I even got one online at Zara but I had to return it since it looked awful on... Then I remembered there is a little market stall in Florence San Lorenzo market where I use to get all my hats from. Eventually I managed to find it and surprise, surprise I came home with this which in my opinion is the perfect hat for me! Of course I'll show you how it looks on in an upcoming outfit post, so you can tell me what you think about it! Am I the only one with this hat-struggle experiences?

Ogni anno, quando arriva l'inverno, sento la necessità di comprare un cappello e no, non sto parlando di quelli di lana, utili per tenere la testa al caldo... parlo proprio di un bel cappello alla moda, che nella mia mente mi renderà chic e glamour! Di solito non ci metto molto a realizzare quanto sia complicato trovare il cappello giusto, che sia di buona qualità e che ovviamente mi stia bene. Quest'anno come avrete capito non ha fatto eccezione e la mia caccia al cappello perfetto mi ha portato a cercare davvero dovunque, ne avevo perfino preso uno da Zara online, che ovviamente ho dovuto restituire perché su di me stava proprio male... Poi mi sono ricordata che al mercato di San Lorenzo a Firenze, c'è un banco dove ho sempre trovato ottime occasioni! Alla fine l'ho ritrovato e sono tornata a casa con quello che penso sia il modello perfetto per me! Ovviamente vi mostrerò come mi sta in uno dei prossimi post, così mi direte se siete d'accordo con me! Voi che ne dite? Sono l'unica ad avere tutti questi problemi a scegliere un cappello?

November wish list

Another month, another wish list! At the moment I'm craving basic, sleek, simple pieces to incorporate into my wardrobe and I'm madly in love with those ankle boots from Dune. They're classic but with a twist, I also love that light grey coat from Zara!! I'm really into hats at the moment. I don't know why because they always end up not being worn too much but still...Another piece I love is that mini bag from Elizabeth and James, so classic and chic! A pair of statement earrings and a bold lip to complete my ideal look. My favourites right now are Nars Audacious lipsticks, with this new formula Nars nailed it! They're so creamy and pigmented I just want them all!! I hope you enjoyed peeking through my wish list and don't forget to share with me what on yours ;)

Un nuovo mese, una nuova wish list! Al momento tutto quello che desidero sono capi basici, semplici e lineari da incorporare nel mio guardaroba e per cominciare, sono follemente innamorata di questi stivaletti di Dune. Sono classici, ma il dettaglio della zip li rende senza dubbio originali, adoro anche il cappottina grigio chiaro di Zara!! Un'altra delle mie fisse del momento sono i cappelli. Non saprei dire bene perché, visto che finisco sempre per dimenticarli nell'armadio... Come non adorare poi la mini borsa di Elizabeth and James, semplice ma davvero chic! Un paio di orecchini importanti e un bel rossetto acceso completano il mio look ideale e parlando di rossetti i miei preferiti del momento sono gli Audacious lipstick di Nars. La Nars ha davvero fatto centro con questa nuova formulazione, i rossetti infatti sono cremosi e super pigmentati, in pratica vorrei ogni singolo colore!! Spero che vi siate divertiti a sbirciare la mia wish list e non dimenticatevi di farmi sapere cosa c'è nella vostra ;)

Shopping in Berlin - haul

Hi everyone! Here we are with my Berlin haul! As you can see I got a little bit crazy there and I have to admit that this isn't even all...I have a couple more things which I couldn't take home in my carry-on so my friends who are coming home for Christmas kindly offered to take them back :)

I have been to Berlin before but I didn't remember there were so many nice shops! There is literally a ton of them and so it might be a little overwhelming...My favourite shop was & Other Stories, I'd been wanting to go for such a long time that I couldn't wait to see one in person! In Berlin there are three shops all very nice and well organized. The packaging of the beauty products is so pretty that I wanted to take them all XD I loved their jewelry and clothes as well!

Then I went to KaDeWe a massive department store where you can find a little bit of everything! It was all decorated for Christmas so it was really pretty! The make-up and beauty department is amazing and I managet to find a mini Diptique candle in figuer, my favourite scent! Another place I loved was the Dussmann a book shop on Friedrichstrasse open till midight that has an amazing section of english books! Muji was next! I love that shop sooo much :) In Douglas I found most of the make-up you see above including NYX products! Last shop I'm going to mention is Aesop. I've been after their Parsley seed mask for months and I didn't even know there was an Aesop shop in Berlin! I was walking down the street in Mitte, when I saw it and I had to go inside! The lady in the store told me it opened just three months ago! Here you can find the adress if you're interested :)

Ciao a tutti! Ecco il mio bottino berlinese! Come potete vedere mi sono data alla pazza gioia e devo ammettere che questo non è nemmeno tutto...infatti ho preso un altro paio di cose che non entravano nel mio bagaglio a mano, così i miei amici che sarebbero tornati in Italia per Natale si sono gentilmente offerti di portarle loro per me :)

Ero già stata a Berlino ma non mi ricordavo il quantitavo di negozi stupendi che sono! Davvero sono talmente tanti che si ha la sensazione di non sapere più dove guardare! Il posto che ero più impaziente di visitare è stato senza dubbio & Other Stories, era da quanto ha aperto che volevo andarci, quindi non vedevo l'ora di vederlo di persona! A Berlino ci sono tre punti vendita, tutti piuttosto grandi e forniti, le confezioni dei trucchi e dei prodotti di bellezza sono  favolose, infatti volevo portarmele via tutte XD e mi sono piaciuti molto anche la bigiotteria e i vestiti!

Un altro posto dove siamo stati è il KaDeWe, un mega centro commerciale dove si trova davvero di tutto e decorato per Natale è davvero bellissimo! La sezione dedicata ai trucchi e alla cura del corpo è fantastica e li sono riuscita a trovare la mini candela al fico di Dipdique, una delle mie profumazioni preferite! Altro posto che mi è piaciuto moltissimo è la libreria Dussmann che si trova su Friedrichstrasse, è aperta fino a mezzanotte e ha una selezione incredibile di libri in inglese! Poi Muji che amo alla follie e Douglas dove ho trovato i prodotti della NYX! L'ultimo negozio di cui vi voglio parlare è quello di Aesop. Erano mesi che volevo prendere la loro Parsley seed mask e non mi aspettavo proprio di trovarlo a Berlino! Stavamo camminado per il quartiere di Mitte quando l'ho visto e ovviamente sono dovuta entrare, la ragazza dietro il bancone, mi ha spiegato che il negozio ha apero solo 3 mesi fa. Free People presents Roshambo

Hi everyone! It is no secret that I love Free People and when I saw the new video they made to accompany the launch of their February catalog I thought I'd share it with you. The short movie is called Roshambo and it tells a love story set in beautiful Brooklyn starring the actor Christopher Abbott and the model Sheila Marquez. I really love it!
