The object of my affection

You should know that every year when holidays are about to start I always feel the urge to buy something online, for example last year I ordered a t-shirt and the shop shipped it after a month almost so after waiting till the very last day before going on holiday I finally got the package...and found out that they shipped the wrong item! After that experience I decided never to buy online anything again before going on holiday. This was until I saw the classic Marinère t-shirt on sale on Petit Bateau website(it still is if you're interested)…How could I pass on that? I ordered it on the 19^th of July and I was feeling kinda safe…big mistake! The tracking of my package on Colissimo website (I ordered on the Italian website but they actually ship from France) updated on the 29th says: "your parcel was damaged. It’s currently being routed". Will it eventually get here? But the main question is will this lesson be enough for me to avoid doing it again next year? XD

Dovete sapere che ogni anno prima delle vacanze mi viene la brillante idea di comprare qualcosa online, l'anno scorso, ad esempio, avevo preso una maglietta che mi hanno spedito dopo quasi un mese e dopo aver atteso il postino fino all'ultimo, ho aperto il pacco...e avevano pure sbagliato a mandarmi la roba! A quel punto mi ero ripromessa di non ordinare più niente nel periodo vicino alle vacanze...e poi ho scoperto che sul sito di Petit Bateau c'era in saldo la classica marinère che ho sempre desiderato (che tra l'altro c'è ancora se a qualcuno interessasse)...come potevo lasciarmela sfuggire? L'ho ordinata il 19 Luglio e mi sentivo al sicuro...errore! Il sito di colissimo (ho ordinato dal sito italiano, ma spediscono dalla Francia) aggiornato al 29/07 dice: your parcel was damaged. it's currently being routed. Arriverà mai? Ma soprattutto questa esperienza mi basterà per evitare di ricaderci anche l'anno prossimo? XD
