Born in the early 90s in Austria Lomography is a sort of photographic art. Basically it involves a playful approach to photography; shooting with lomo cameras without worrying too much about the main technical rules
For me it’s a mania! I discovered Lomo in 2006 thanks to a friend of mine who is a photographer and I begun to collect Lomos, I have the yellow Holga you see in the first photo, a fisheye and a vintage Lc-a the one I used to shot the pics below.
With Lomo you’re back to the past developing your film and not knowing how the shot will come out until the very end of the process and I think this is Lomo charm.
Here are the 10 rules of lomography:
1) Take your camera everywhere you go
2) Use it any time – day and night
3) Lomography is not an interference in your life, but part of it
4) Try the shot from the hip
5) Approach the objects of your Lomographic desire as close as possible
6) Don't think
7) Be fast
8) You don't have to know beforehand what you captured on film
9) Afterwards either
10) Don't worry about any rules
La Lomografia è una sorta di arte fotografica nata all'inzio degli anni 90 in Austria. In pratica si basa su un approccio giocoso al mondo della fotografia, scattando con macchine fotografiche lomo appunto, senza preoccuparsi troppo delle principali regole tecniche fotografiche.
Per me è una vera mania, ho scoperto le Lomo nel 2006 grazie ad un amico fotografo che me le ha fatte conoscere e da li mi sono procurata vari modelli, la Holga gialla che vedete nella prima foto, una fisheye e una LC-A vintage che è quella con cui ho scattato le foto qui sotto.
E' un po un ritorno al passato, che ci fa tornare a portare a sviluppare i nostri scatti senza sapere fino all'ultimo cosa verrà fuori e secondo me anche questo fa parte del fascino Lomo.
Ecco le 10 regole della lomografia:
1) Porta la tua lomo ovunque tu vada
2) Usala sempre di giorno e di notte
3) La lomografia è parte della tua vita
4) Scatta senza guardare nel mirino
5) Avvicinati più che puoi
6) Non pensare
7) Sii veloce
8) Non preucuparti in anticipo di quello che verrà impresso
9) Non preucuparti neppure dopo
10) Dimentica queste regole
