Clinique cleansing balm

Looks like cleansing balms are the new thing in fact of make up removers. It all started with Emma Hardie Amazing face which is the most popular clensing balm around. I heard so many good things about it but I was still reluctant to try it out because it is kinda pricy(around €42) so when Clinique released their own cleansing balm for half the price (€26,50) and when I red Caroline Hirons enthusiastic review(she's a skin care expert and if you don't know her you should check out her blog, I didn't think about it twice and got a jar!
I have to say that despite the good reviews I was still skeptical because of my combination skin but I was really pleased to discover that a product like this works great on (almost)any skin type and it hasn't break me out so far. Basically what it does is removing all your make up...I mean all of it!! The best way to use it is to scoop out a little bit on your hands and rub it gently on your face then remove it with a cloth or rinse it off with water. It really take away every little residue of make up so it helps to keep your skin in good shape. This one from Clinique doesn't have a scent and it's very gentle. I think it's a great alternative to the Emma Hardie one. Let me know what you think about it!! Have you ever used a cleansing balm?

A cosa serve? Voi avete mai provato i balsami struccanti?

  7. Never tried a make up remover balm but I'm so curious! Does it work well with mascara too? It's a pain to remove mine (and it's not waterproof...). Kisses!
