Zaragoza

Hi everyone! Finally August it’s almost here and this means it is time for holidays!! This year because of my job I didn’t have time to book my holidays yet but to embrace the holiday spirit I decided to share with you some picture from an old holiday I spent in Zaragoza (Spain) so maybe my post will inspire those of you who haven’t decide where to go just like me XD

Zaragoza is situated in the North Est of Spain and it is very well connected to many other cities like Barcelona, Madrid and Bilbao (all about 300 km far) that you can easily reach by car or train.
The main influence in architecture is Mudejar a mixture between Christian and Arabian art. The most important monument (and the most famous) is the Nuestra Señora del Pilar Basilica (that you can see in my photos below), to see also The Seo Cathedral. Talking about museums I suggest both the Zaragoza museum (archeology and fine arts) and Cesaraugusta route a route of museums and monuments from the times of Caesar August!
Plaza del Paraiso is a great start for shopping, nearby you can find shops like Sephora, Zara and a couple of Malls and in the streets around the area you can find also many interesting little shops, I must add that one things that surely you won’t miss in Zaragoza are bridal shops, I’ve never seen so many in my entire life XD
Another nice spot for shopping is  Gran Casa Mall (you can reach it by bus) where you'll find lots of nice shops and if you're familiar with spanish there's also a cinema inside!
The food is delicious and the prices are great practically everywhere and I recommend you to have a dinner in the gorgeous Palza del Pilar!
I recommend you to stay at Los Girasoles where for a fair price you can rent an apartment; the building also has a pool (the water is always freezing...but still) and a gym!
The only downside? The weather! I’ve been there in August and it was insanely hot…always even at night (luckily all hotels and houses have air conditionairs) so if you can’t stand hot weather I recommend you to go in another time of the year, I’m sure Zaragoza in Spring is lovely!
I hope you liked it!

Ciao a tutti!

xoxo
