February favourites

February is almost over so you know it's time to talk about my favourites! Let's jump right into it! 

SKIN-CARE 

You know I love my clenasing balms and this month I started using the one from Emma Hardie. It's her moringa cleanser and smells like heaven but the best part is removing it with the muslin cloth you get in the box. It takes aways all of your make-up and it make it a pleasant experience!! I'm also trying a new eye cream, it's from Benefit and it's really nice. It's not too rich or heavy and gives just the right amount of moist. 

BODY

I love the idea of a moisturizer that you can apply while you're in the shower and I was using the Lush one, which I love but it's kind of expensive. So I was really pleased to find a cheaper alternative from Nivea. This moisturizer smells nice and leave your skin super soft!

HAIR
I like those mini kit from Bumble and Bumble, they allow you to test out a product before committing to a full size. My favourite this month was from their Hairdresser's Invisible oil range and it's the heat protecting primer. It's very light, doesn't built up in your hair and protects them from heat, plus it smells really nice! 

MAKE-UP 

I love Eyeko mascaras! This one if from Alexa Chung collab and it's great! It has a huge wand, that lenghtens and separates the lashes for a gorgeous and chic look. A new addition to my make-up bag is the Silkissime liner from L'Oreal. I enjoyed using the brown one to thicken my lash line or smudge it for a slightly smokey effect. These eyeliner are very long lasting and a great deal for the price! I had to include a lip product and my lipstick of choice for this month is from Nars Audacious lipsticks in the colour Anita, a beautiful nude pink, very creamy and comfortable to wear!

RANDOM 

I rekindle my love for my House of Harlow 1960 necklace, it's such a gorgeous piece of jewelry! It looks great on any outfit! I also been loving wearing tiny little earrings preferably non matching XD

Febbraio è praticamente finito, quindi come sapete, è tempo di parlare dei miei prodotti preferiti del mese! Cominciamo!!

SKIN-CARE 
Sapete che adoro i miei cleansing balms e questo mese ho iniziato ad usarne uno nuovo. Si tratta del Moringa cleanser di Emma Hardie. È un ottimo prodotto, ha un profumo buonissimo ed è davvero un piacere rimuoverlo con il panno che trovate nella confezione. Porta via il trucco in una passata e rende il tutto un'esperienza decisamente piacevole!! Sto provando una nuova crema per il contorno occhi, è di Benefit e mi piace molto. Non è troppo ricca o pesante ma idrata alla perfezione questa zona super delicata del nostro viso.

CORPO

Adoro l'idea di una crema idratante da usare sotto la doccia e fino ad ora ho sempre usato quella di Lush, che è favolosa, ma decisamente cara. Quindi sono stata felicissima di trovare un'alternativa di Nivea, che costa molto meno e che funziona allo stesso modo. Ha una profumazione piacevole e lascia la pelle morbidissima! 

CAPELLI

Mi piace provare i mini kit di Bumble and Bumble, sono un ottimo modo di testare un prodotto prima di comprare la versione grande. E proprio testando il kit della linea Hairdresser's Invisible oil, ho scoperto un prodotto davvero fantastico. Si tratta dello spray heat protecting primer. È leggerissimo, non appesantisce i capelli e li protegge dal calore del phon o della piastra, inoltre ha un profumo buonissimo! 

MAKE-UP 

Amo i mascara di Eyeko! Quello che vedete in foto è della collezione che hanno fatto, in collaborazione con Alexa Chung ed è favoloso! L'applicatore è davvero enorme, allunga e separa le ciglia per un look super chic. Ho finalmente provato le matite di L'Oreal Silkissime. Sono fantastiche, hanno una tenuta di tutto rispetto e il prezzo è ottimo! Questo mese ho usato moltissimo quella marrone, per scurire l'attaccatura delle ciglia o sfumata per un leggerissimo effetto smokey. Per finire, non potevo non includere un rossetto e la mia scelta questo mese, ricade su Anita dei Nars Audacious lipsticks, un bellissimo nude rosato, molto cremoso e facile da portare! 

RANDOM

Questo mese ho riscoperto la mia collana di House of Harlow 1960, è davvero un oggetto supendo e sta bene con tutto! Un'altra mia passione del mese, sono stati gli orecchini piccoli da portare possibilmente spaiati XD

November favourites

Hello everyone! November is gone and we're one step closer to Christmas, which is my favourite time of year! Btw today I'll be sharing with you my monthly favourites so let's get started!!

SKIN-CARE

I heard do many good things about Oskia renaissance cleansing gel that I had to try it! It's a gel cleanser but when you apply it on the skin it turns into an oil, so it's good to remove impurities and make-up. Although I still prefer my Clinique cleansing balm to remove make-up this is a very lovely product that makes your skin glow and keep it break-out free!

MAKE-UP

This month the only blush I used was Benefit Majorette blush ( you can read a more in-depht review here), it's so pretty and easy to work with! Believe it or not but I rarely use to apply a primer before trying the Smashbox photo finish primer. This little guy is amazing, it's non greasy and helps your make-up to stay put all day! I finally decided to try a new mascara and I went for Maybelline The Rocket volume express. I love it! It lenghtens, define and even holds a curl so is my new obsession in the mascara department!

 

RANDOM

I love dainty jewelry so I could not fell in love with Monica Vinader collection! I want every single piece! I got this rose gold bracelet and it hasn't left my wrist since. I also loved Gone Girl a book by Gillian Flynn. It's a very good thriller so check it out if you like those. There is also a movie based on the book but I haven't seen it yet! Last but not least a decide to include my favourite snack. It's Tiger muesli bars with nuts and chocholate, so yummy and kinda healty as well!

Ciao a tutti! Novembre è finito e ci stiamo avvicinando sempre di più a Natale, che è il mio periodo preferito dell'anno! Ma oggi parleremo dei miei prodotti preferiti del mese, quindi cominciamo!!

VISO

Ho sempre sentito parlare molto bene dell'Oskia renaissance cleansing gel, quindi ho decido di provarlo! È un detergente per il viso in gel, che a contatto con la pelle diventa un olio, quindi è perfetto per rimuovere le impurità e il trucco. Vi confesso che per rimuovere a fondo il trucco, preferisco sempre il mio balsamo di Clinique, ma questo prodotto è davvero fantstico e rende la pelle pulita, luminosa e tiene lontani i brufoli!

 

MAKE-UP

Questo mese l'unico blush che ho usato è il Majorette di Benefit (trovate una recensione più dettagliata qui), è davvero carinissimo e facile da applicare! Credeci o no, ma prima di provare il Photo Finish primer di Smash box, non usavo affatto questo genere di prodotti. Questo fa davvero la differenza, diminuisce l'aspetto dei pori e delle imperfezioni e la sua formula non oleosa, aiuta il trucco a durare tutto il giorno. Finalmente mi sono decisa a provare un nuovo mascara e ho scelto il The Rocket volume express di Maybelline. Lo adoro! Allunga e definisce le ciglia e riesce anche a tenere la piega che do con il piegaciglia, che per me che ho le ciglia piattissime è davvero fantastico, quindi è la mia nuova ossessione per quanto riguarda i mascara! 

RANDOM

Amo i gioielli dall'aspetto semplice e delicato, quindi non potevo non innamorarmi della collezione di Monica Vinader. Vorrei ogni singolo pezzo! Ho preso questo bellissimo braccialetto in ora rose e non ha più lasciato il mio polso. Questo mese vi voglio proporre un libro che mi sta piacendo moltissimo, si tratta di Gone Girl di Gillian Flynn. È un ottimo thriller, quindi se vi piace il genere ve lo consiglio assolutamente. Hanno fatto anche un film basato sul libro ma non l'ho ancora visto, voi? Per ultimo voglio includere uno snack. L'ho preso da Tiger e sono delle barrette al muesli con nocciole e cioccolato, sono buonissime e sono fantastiche da mettere in borsa per uno spuntino!!

Benefit Majorette blush

Hello everyone! Today I want to talk you about Majorette, a new blush from Benefit. The main reason I was attracted to it was the packaging of course...isn't it adorable? Well let me tell you that the product inside is just as good. Is a cream-to-powder formula, which is super smooth and easy to blend both with your fingers or with a brush and it's quite long lasting as well. I find its texture quite interesting, mainly because it almost blurs the imperfections even if you're not wearing foundation underneath. You can find it at Sephora and it retails for € 33.50 for 7.0g of product which is quite expensive but it's a very lovely product and quite unique as well. So if you like the colour I'd recommend you to check it out! I hope you find this useful and I'll see you in my next post ;)

Ciao a tutti! Oggi voglio parlarvi del nuovo blush di Benefit, Majorette. La principale ragione per cui ha attirato la mia attenzione, è la confezione ovviamente...non è deliziosa? Beh lasciate che vi dica, che il prodotto al suo interno è altrettanto interessante. È una formula in crema che a contatto con la pelle diventa più simile ad un prodotto in polvere, è davvero facile da sfumare sia con le dita che con il pennello e la durata è altrettanto valida. Trovo la sua texture davvero interessante, principalmente perchè tende a nascondere le piccole imperfezioni, invece che enfatizzarle come farebbe un qualunque fard, anche se non si applica il fondotinta. Lo trovate da Sephora al prezzo di € 33,50 per 7g di prodotto, che a mio avviso è un po' caro, ma c'è da dire che è davvero un prodotto originale e che il colore è bellissimo! Se vi piace, vi consiglio di provarlo la prossima volta che passate da Sephora! Spero che il post vi sia stato utilie e vi aspetto al prossimo ;)

June favourites

Oh yes! It's June's favourites time :D

HAIR

I know, I know, you're probably sick of hearing me talk about Organix products but I love them so much I cannot help myself! This month I'd been loving their Argan oil of morocco conditioner. It's very rich without being thick or heavy and it has a lovely smell that lingers in your hair all day! Another nice product I want to mention is Dove dry shampoo. It's a clear spray which is great and the smell is very fresh. If you need to quickly fix your hair and you don't have time to wash it this is a great trick that would get the job done!

SKIN CARE

I already talked about this product here but I could not mention it in my favourites! I'm talking about Benefit Dream screen. It's great, very light sunscreen and doesn't break me out! I also loved Aesop chamomile mask. It' very soothing and it's a nice to use once a week to keep your pimples at bay or to calm things down if you have a major blemish situation!

MAKE-UP

This month I was really all about Hourglass and I get a very good use out of their Opaque rouge liquid lipstick in the shade Rose, a beautiful natural rosy color that is very long lasting. I love the matte finish and that it doesn't smudge even if you drink or eat but on the other hand it can be quite drying so keep that in mind. Another favourite was the Ambient lighting blush in the color Dim Infusion. It's a gorgeous peachy shade, very pretty on my pale skin and I'm sure it would look even more gorgeous with a little bit of a tan!

NAILS

I finally had the chance to try BarryM nail polishes and they're very nice! My favourite color is this pastelly blue in the shade Elderberry. It's one of their Gelly hi-shine polishes and it has a thick gel-like consistency (check out my instagram to see how it looks on the nails).

RANDOM

I got a new case for my phone from Garance Doré online shop. I fell in love with this multi-color checked design and I have to say the cover it's very good quality. I also been enjoying this set of three rings. It's a set of three pastel green rings connected to one another and to put them on you roll them down your finger.

Oh yes! È tempo di svelarvi i miei preferiti del mese di Giugno :D

CAPELLI

Lo so, lo so, probabilmente non ne potete più di sentirmi nominare i prodotti della Organix, ma che posso farci se mi piacciono così tanto?! Questo mese ho usato moltissimo il balsamo Argan oil of morocco. È molto nutriente ma non appesantisce i capelli e ha un profumo buonissimo che resta a lungo! Un altro prodotto che ho molto amato questo mese è lo shampo secco di Dove (che purtroppo in Italia non si trova). Ha una formula trasparente che non lascia residui nei capelli e un profumo molto fresco, perfetto per dare una ritoccata alle nostre chiome, quando si è di corsa e non c'è tempo di lavarsi i capelli! 

VISO

Ho già parlato di questo prodotto qui, ma non potevo non inserirlo nei miei preferiti! Sto parlando della protezione solare di Benefit, Dream Screen. È molto leggera e soprattutto non mi fa venire i brufoli! Un altro prodotto che ho usato moltissimo è la maschera alla camomilla di Aesop. Ha una funzione calmante che è perfetta per tenere a bada pelli impure, come la mia o se già avete dei brufoletti, è ottima da utilizzare per farli sparire più velocemente! 

MAKE-UP

Per quanto rigurda il trucco, questo mese, le mie attenzioni sono state tutte per i prodotti Hourglass. Voglio quindi parlarvi del rossetto Opaque rouge liquid lipstick nel colore Rose. È un bellissimo rossetto a lunga tenuta, dal finish opaco, che non sbava e dura veramente molte ore anche se mangiate o bevete qualcosa. Proprio per questo però tende a seccare un pochino le labbra, quindi tenetelo presente se siete interessate ad acquistarlo! Il colore poi è un bellissimo rosa, molto naturale. Un altro dei miei preferiti è l'Ambient lighting blush nel colore Dim Infusion. Un delizioso fard color pesca, che sta bene sulle pelli chiare come la mia ma che, a mio avviso, risulterebbe ancora più bello con un filo di abbronzatura!

NAILS

Finalmente sono riuscita a provare gli smalti della BarryM e devo dire che sono davvero carini! Il mio colore preferito questo mese è stato senza dubbio Elderberry, un grazioso blu pastello. Questo colore appartiene alla linea Gelly hi-shine e ha quindi una consistenza piuttosto corposa, appunto come un gel, ma è semplice da stendere e bellissimo sulle unghie (venite a trovarmi su instagram per vedere il risultato).

RANDOM

Ho preso una nuova cover per il cellulare sul negozio online di Garance Doré. Mi sono innamorata di questa a quadrettini multicolore e devo dire che è di ottima qualità. 

Ho usato moltissimo il set di tre anelli che vedete in foto. Sono concatenati fra loro e quando li mettete al dito scorrono uno sopra l'altro creando una sorta di intreccio, che mi piace molto.

E questo è tutto ragazzi, per quanto riguarda i miei prodotti preferiti di Giugno :) Spero che il post vi sia piaciuto e se anche voi avete qualche prodotto del quale vi siete innamorati durante questo mese, non dimenticate di condividerlo con me!!

Let's talk about sunscreen!

I tend to wear sunscreen all year round but during Spring and Summer I pay even more attention to this step in my skin care routine. Sun lotions are usually quite thick and when it comes to face my combination skin doesn't like them at all...I always end up breaking out! After trying quite a few I came across these two and let me tell you, they're amazing!

Kiehl's Ultra light daily UV defense SPF 50 - If you follow me you'd now how much I love this stuff. It's not oily and easy to blend, you can apply make-up on top without looking overly shiny! The packaging is nice a compact, perfect to trow in your make-up bag or to carry with you on the beach or the pool!

Benefit Dream screen SPF 45 - This newer to me but as soon as I tried it I fell in love! This product has a very light consistency, you really can't feel it or see it. Its texture is liquid but when you apply it onto your skin it almost disappears. Perfect to wear during hot summer days, plus it's oil free and gives a lovely matte finish to your skin. Cerco di usare la protezione solare tutto l'anno, ma in Primavera e Estate mi assicuro di non dimenticare questo passaggio nella mia skin care routine. Le lozioni solari sono solitamente piuttosto ricche e la mia pelle mista non gradisce affatto, infatti tendo a riempirmi di brufoli! Dopo averne provate diverse posso dirvi che queste due sono le mie preferite!

Kiehl's Ultra light daily UV defense SPF 50 - Se mi seguite regolarmente, saprete già che la adoro.  E' una crema a base non oleosa, che si stende facilmente e crea una base perfetta per il trucco, senza lasciare la pelle unta! La confezione compatta è perfetta da mettere in borsa o da portare sulla spiaggia!

Benefit Dream screen SPF 45 - Questo invece è un prodotto per me più nuovo, ma del quale mi sono innamorata appena l'ho provato! Ha una consistenza davvero leggerissima e non si sente, né si vede sulla pelle. Questa protezione solare è molto liquida ma si assorbe molto velocemente e in maniera del tutto invisibile. E' perfetta da usare nei caldi giorni estivi e la sua formulazione oil free lascia una finitura matte davvero carina.

Secret Garden

Hello everyone! I'd been invited to Secret Garden a benefit event that will take place on the 7th and 8th of June in Florence in the beautiful Giardino Torrigiani. It's a benefit event organized by Noi per Voi Onlus to help Meyer Hospital to raise funds for the research of new ways to cure leukemia in kids. I think it's a beautiful project and I'm so happy to have a chance to give my contribution. At the event you'll find a little market, food, music and so much more! I'll be there on the 7th and I can wait to mee other bloggers and maybe some of you guys too!

Ciao a tutti! Sono stata invitata a partecipare all'evento di beneficenza Secret Garden, che si terrà il 7 e l'8 Giugno al Giardino Torrigiani a Firenze. E' un evento di beneficenza organizzato dall associazione Noi per Voi Onlus che servirà a finanziare il progetto dell'ospedate pediatrico Meyer "Identificazione di nuovi marcatori molecolari per il disegno di stategie terapeutiche nelle leucemie acute del bambino". Lo trovo un progetto davvero importante e sono felice di avere l'opportunità di prenderne parte :) Durante le due giornate ci sarà un mercatino, cibo, musica e molto altro! Io sarò li nella giornata di venerdì e non vedo l'ora di conoscere altre blogger e magari alcuni di voi! Che ne dite, ci sarete?
