H&M new make-up line

H&M is not a place where I usually shop for make-up, even though I love their nail polishes. Recently they re-launched their make-up line and they've definitely upped their game!
The new displays are very pretty and the selection is amazing, they have everything you might need from lipstick to nail polish, to brushes and skin care. The packaging is very sleek and elegant and basically I wanted to try everything...but I tried to resist and got just a lipstick and a nail polish both really pretty, good quality and affordable (€9.99 for the lipstick and €4.99 the nail polish). I'm definitely going back for more! Have you tried anything from the range yet?

Selvert Thermal Peptide Lift

Being the beauty addict that I am I'm always interested in new products to improve the apperance of my skin and of course keep it as young looking as possibile. So when I was invited to discover the new Peptide lift line from Selvert Thermal I was beyond excited. Selvert is a Swiss skin care brand based in Barcelona and it's been on the market for over 40 years. Thermal water and high quality ingredients are the key for they're amazing products, combined with the latest technologies in the skin-care field.
Selvert Thermal newest line contain 4 different kinds of  peptides, which are "the thing" right now. They work as a lock and key with our skin activating different processes to prevent the apperance of new wrinkles while at the same time reparing the existing ones, recovering the skin from inside-out.

They introduced three new products:
Peptide Lift-Suprême Ultra Sérum Lift Redensifiant - a super concentraded serum that contains a new generation of peptides and gives the skin an instant lift, glow and a firmer appearance.
Peptide Lift-Sérum Lift Redensifiant - Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while giving the skin an instant lift.
Peptide Lift-Crème Lift Redensifiante - Gives the skin a boost of hydration, an instant lifting effect and improves luminosity abd texture.

You can buy these products individually from exclusive Salons and Spas and for a full experience you can try their five fases treatment. Starting with a cleansing gel, a toner, a mask which is amazing (I had the chance to try it out during our meeting) and a firming cream to finish it off.

All the products are very gentle and there are lines to suits all your needs including one targeted to those with extremely sensitive skin. Experts will guide you and recommend the most sutable products and treatments for your own skin.

Since Christmas it's just round the corner, they launched a gorgeous kit to try out their product which includes the Peptide Lift-Crème Lift Redensifiante, and eye cream and some firming phials. All the Peptide lift products come in beautiful black, magnetized boxes and in glass containers.

I can't wait to try the five fases treatment and I'll continue to use Selvert products and keep you posted with my results!

A presto!

When in France - part 1 Montpellier

Hi everyone, long time no see...I know the past few months have been kinda crazy but today I'm here to share with you some photos and a few recommentations from my recent holiday in France. If you follow my blog you'd know that France is my happy place and whenever I have the chance I go back and it's always an awesome experience. This year I visited a few new places and one of them is Montpellier. Montpellier is a gorgeous city located in the south of France it has lots of historical points of interest but it's also full of young people since there are multiple universities in the city. The atmosphere is very chilled and it's the perfect place to travel to with your friends but also if you have kids. There are tons of cute little restaurants, café and bistrot where you can enjoy a glass of wine. I decided to share with you a round up of my favorites restaurants, places to visit and shops. There's so much more to see and do and overall it's a place I'd love to visit again! I hope you'll enjoy my little review and maybe it'll inspire you to visit this beautiful city someday!!

Food
Le Petit Nice - 1 place Jean Jaures
It's a bar located in a very nice Square where you can have a lovely breakfast (their fresh, pressed juices are a must), an aperitif or a drink later in the evening.

Bistrot Chez Canaille - 7 Place du Petit Scel
This was definitely one of my favorites spots. They offer you a selection of wines that you can combine with platters of cheese, cold meat, assortments of tartines or a mix of your choice.

La Casita del Barrio - 2 Rue Rebuffy
Since Montpellier it's quite close to Spain, it's not unusual to find lots of tapas restaurants and this one you cannot miss. It's again located in a very cool spot and you can sit outside to enjoy some tapas of the day, sangria or a glass of wine.

Must see
La Promenade du Peyrou
This beautiful park is the perfect place to stroll around. Its higher position gives you a wonderful view of the city and from there you can see the old aqueduct.

Antigone
If you like big spaces and architecture you must visit Antigone neighborhood. It was designed by the Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill and it's a mix between neo-classical and modern. On the other side there's a nice view of the river Lez.

La Panecée - 14 Rue de l'École de Pharmacie
It's a Center of Contemporary Culture where you can find a gorgeous space full of expositions of all kinds that you can visit for free. The purpose of this place is to encourage creativity, promote artistic research and experimentation. It's really awesome, a place I'd love to have in my own city. There's also a café that offers you a selection of tasty fresh products!

Shopping
Polygone Shopping Center - 1 Rue Pertuisanes
Here you can find a very wide selection of shops including Sephora, Le Galeries Lafayette, an awesome a very well stocked Pharmacy and a super market...which always come in handy.

Images Photo - 2 Rue des Étuves
If you love Tech this shop is would make you (or your bf) very happy. It has an amazing selection of cameras, tripods and accessories of all kinds.

YellowKorner - 24 Rue de la Loge
This shop is part of a chain so it's not exclusive to Montpellier but it's very cool so I decided to include it regardless. Basically it's a gallery where you can but the photos at accessible prices. You have a wide selection and the possibility to chose different formats. I think it's a very cool concept and it's very nice to take a look around.

I hope you find it helpful and I'll see you (soon) in my next post...I promise!! ;)

Ciao a tutti!

Shopping
Polygone Shopping Center - 1 Rue Pertuisanes

July favourites

Wow July went by so fast! I can't believe we're basically in august and I'm beyond excided for my up coming holiday!! But today I'm here to share with you some of the products I'd been loving throughout this month. First things first I want to talk about this Lush soap...omg it smells like heaven!! It's called "Honey I washed the kids!" quite a mouthful but the soap is just incredible, smells so delicious you wanna eat it! For my face I'd been enjoying the Polyphenol serum from Caudalie and a new SPF from Avène. It's from their Cleanance line, targeted for oily and combination skin and it's the best spf for the face I've tried so far. Its formula is very light, fast absorbing and has a matte finish, it hasn't break my out which is awesome and it has a nice packaging which is always a plus! For make-up I've been loving the Stila convertible color in Peony, which is a cream blush that you can use on your  lips as well and Une Breezy lip balm in the shade B02 a sheer coral both so pretty and perfect for no-make-up make-up days! Last but not least my necklace by Delphine Pariente, a gorgeous basic piece engraved with a quote, that you can personalize if you want. In case you're wondering mine says "Je ne regrette rien" ;)

-
