My cleansing routine

My skin is far from being perfect but I find that when I'm consistent with my cleansing routine it definitely looks better and it's less prone to blemishes. So I decided to share with you my top cleansing product and maybe get you inspire to find your own cleansing routine!
I wash my face day and night and when I'm not wearing make-up I use Bioderma Cleansing gel for sensitive skin. It's very gentle and doen't dry your skin out. I alternate with Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel, you apply it onto dry skin and it turns into an oil, then you add a little water to emulsify and remove it with a muslin cloth. When I'm wearing make-up I always use a cleansing balm to take it off and my favourites are Clinique take the day off and Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm. The Clinique one is unscented and it's extremely gentle on your skin while the Emma Hardie has an amazing and luxurious moringa scent and it's really good as well but if your skin is very sensitive I'd recommend the Clinique. Another way to cleanse your skin and remove make-up is to use a cleansing oil, my favourite is Camomile silky cleansing oil from The Body Shop. You apply it onto dry skin and when you add water it emulsify and gently remove even waterproof make-up! I end my routine with a swipe of Bioderma Sensibio micellar water and apply my skin care products.
I hope this was helpful and let me know what are your favourite cleansing products!

Say bye bye to dry, flaky lips

During the cooler months our skin tends to get dry and our lips are facing this issue as well! To me this is one of the most annoying things ever especially when I want to wear lipstick. Over the years I've tried many different tricks to keep dryness at bay and I came up with this routine which won't completely solve the problem but will definitely improve the look of your lips if you keep up with it. Believe it or not a good scrub is the base to avoid your lips to get dry and flaky so be sure to do that once a week. I use Lush scrub but you can use any kind you like or you can make it at home, mixing a tsp of sugar with a tsp of honey. You can also use a thick moisturizer and rub it onto your lips with a cotton bud. Rinse it off and apply a good lip balm. My favourites are Elizabeth Arden 8hr cream, Nuxe Rêve de Miel (you can use those as an over night treatment as well) and Burt's Bees honey lip balm that you can keep in you purse and apply on the go. To me this an easy and fast way to keep my lips nice and moist all year round :) I hope it was helpful and i wish you all a nice day!
