January Favourites

Hello everyone! It's time again to talk about my monthly favourites, so let's get started!

BODY 

These two products I picked up while I was in Berlin. I'm talking about Soap & Glory Flake Away body scrub and & Other Stories body lotion in Fig Fiction! I heard so many good things about Soap & glory scrubs so I was really looking forward to try one! I picked up Flake Away mainly because of its delicious smell. It's very gentle too and leaves the skin baby soft! I got Fig Fiction body lotion mainly because I'm obsessed with anything fig scented and I love & Other Stories little bottles! 

HAIR

This month I decided to try a new conditioner from Lush. It was on sale so I thought why not? It's called Happy happy joy joy and it's a nice light conditioner with orange blossom, rose and almond milk. It smells so fresh and delicious you want to eat it! The perfume lingers in your hair for quite a while but it's not too overpowering! 

FACE
Aesop Parsley seed mask is my new favourite! It's a clay-based mask that deep cleanse your skin but it's very gentle so it's good to use even if you have sensitive or dry skin! Another favourite of mine is Soap & Glory Make yourself youthful eye cream. It's not too thick but leaves your eye area soft and moist!

MAKE-UP

For make up I've been loving NYX blush in Dusty Rose and NYX lipgloss in Beige...which as you can see it's a neutral pink...luckily not beige at all XD They're both perfect to create a natural effortless look! For my brows I like to use Smashbox brow tech to go in taupe which is a creamy/waxy pencil for your brows on one end and on the other end has a light brown mascara to keep them in place, genius! The last product it a redesicovery for me and I'm talking about YSL touche eclat. I had it for a while but I wasn't really using it much, while in the past month I fell for it all over again! I like to use it to brighten up my under eye area, the bridge of the nose etc. and I'm realy loving it!

FRAGRANCE

This month I fell in love all over again with my Kate Moss Velvet our perfume! I got this a few years ago for really cheap but I love this fragrance, it's very fresh and has a spicy note that is not too strong but you can definitely smell :) Plus I love Kate Moss!

RANDOM
To wrap it up I decided to include two of my most worn pieces of jewelry: J. Crew chain bracelet and & Other Story ring. I love them both so much and I find they can add that little something even to the most boring of the ouftfits!

Ciao a tutti! Ci risiamo, è tempo di parlare dei miei preferiti del mese!! Cominciamo quindi!

CORPO

Ho preso entrambi questi prodotti mentre ero a Berlino, sto parlando dello scrub Fake Away di Soap & Glory e della lozione per il corpo Fig Fiction di &Other Stories! Ho sempre sentito parlare molto bene degli scrub di Soap & glory, quindi non vedevo l'ora di provarne uno! Alla fine ho scelto Flake Away, principalmente per il suo profumo delizioso, ma devo dire che non ha deluso le aspettative, è delicato e lascia la belle morbidissima! Fig Fiction l'ho preso invece, perchè adoro i prodotti che profumano di fichi e adoro le confezioni di & Other Stories! 

CAPELLI

Questo mese ho deciso di provare un nuovo balsamo di Lush, erano in saldo quindi mi sono detta perchè no? Ho preso Pazza Idea, un balsamo leggero che contiene fiori d'arancio, rose e latte di mandorla. Ha davvero un profumo squisito, talmente buono che viene voglia di mangiarlo e la fragranza rimane nei capelli per un bel po' senza essere però troppo intensa e quindi fastidiosa.

 

VISO
La maskera Parsley seed di Aesop è la mia nuova preferita! E' una maschera all'argilla che pulisce la pelle in profondità, ma è davvero delicata quindi perfetta anche per pelli sensibili o secche! Un altro prodotto che ho usato molto è il contorno occhi Make yourself youthful Soap & Glory Make. E' una crema non troppo pesante che lascia il contorno occhi idratato  e luminoso!

TRUCCHI

Per quanto riguarda i trucchi ho adorato il blush di NYX nel colore Dusty Rose e il lipgloss, sempre di NYX, nel colore Beige...che fortunatamente come potete vedere è un rosa naturale...niente a che vedere con il beige XD Questi prodotti sono entrambi perfetti per creare un look da tutti i giorni davvero naturale. Per le sopracciglia mi piace usare la matita di Smashbox, Brow tech to go nel colore taupe. In pratica è una matita per sopracciglia dalla consistenza cremosa/cera da un lato, mentre dall'altro lato trovate un mascara colorato per fissare il tutto. Geniale! L'ultimo prodotto di questo gruppo è una riscoperta per me, sto parlando del Touche Eclat di YSL. Lo avevo da un po' ma avevo smesso di usarlo, invece ultimamente me ne sono innamorata di nuovo. Mi piace usarlo per illuminare la zona del contorno occhi, la parte superiore del naso ecc. lo adoro!

PROFUMO

Anche questa è una riscoperta, infatti ho comprato il Velvet Hour perfume di Kate Moss, alcuni anni fa in sconto e era da un pezzo che non lo usavo. In questo mese è l'unico profumo che ho messo, ha una fragranza fresca ma con delle note speziate, non troppo forti, ma che si sentono e rendono particolre questo profumo che ador :)in più adoro Kate Moss!

RANDOM
Per finire ho deciso di includere due degli accessori che ho usato più spesso questo mese. Si tratta del braccialetto a catena di J. Crew e l'anello di & Other Story preso a Berlino. Li adoro entrambi e trovo che siano perfetti per rendere il più semplice dei look, un po' più interessante!

Alexa Chung IT

I got this book for Christmas and I finished it yesterday so I thought I'd share with you my thoughts on it! IT is a book by Alexa Chung and it's not your average book, it's more of a pin board where she mixes photos, doodles, style tips and a bunch of fun facs about her. I really enjoyed reading it, it's an easy read, something you can throw in your purse and read on the train home or before bed. It made me like Alexa Chung even more and it will definitely look awesome on your coffee table ;)

Ho ricevuto questo libro per Natale e visto che ieri sera ho finito di leggerlo, ho pensato di condividere con voi i miei pensieri a riguardo! IT è scritto da Alexa Chung e diciamo che non è il classico libro narrativo, è più una raccolta di ispirazioni dove Alexa ha mischiato foto, disegni, consigli di stile e qualche fatto divertente sulla sua vita. Mi è piaciuto molto, non è una lettura impegnativa, è uno di quei libri che si possono mettere in borsa e leggere in treno o prima di andare a dormire. Devo dire che mi ha fatto apprezzare Alexa Chung ancora di più e inoltre la copertina deliziosa lo rende un libro perfetto da esporre sul tavolino in salotto ;)

Winter days

Zara sweater; Zara Jeans; Brandy Melville scarf; Woolrich coat; Louis Vuitton bag; Black leather boots;

Hello everyone! How are you? I'm freezing >_< why it has to be so cold? Maybe because it's Winter...I know but I'm really tired of this crazy weather and I can't wait for long warmer days :) Btw today I just wanted to show you the super warm outfit I wore this past sunday for a walk! I'm obsessed with that grey Zara sweater! I managed to got it on sale and it's everything I would wear in these days! I hope you like the look and I wish you all a lovely day ;)

Ciao a tutti! Come state? Io sto congelando >_< Perchè deve essere così freddo? Forse perchè è Inverno...lo so, ma mi sono stufata del freddo e non vedo l'ora che arrivi un clima più mite :) Comunque oggi voglio mostrarvi il look super caldo, che ho scelto per fare una passeggiata la scorsa domenica! Sono ossessionata da questo maglione grigio di Zara che ho trovato ai saldi ed è tutto ciò che voglio indossare durante queste freddissime giornate! Spero che il look vi piaccia e vi auguro una buona giornata ;)

Muji storage

I'm a big fan of Muji storage system! I found their clear plastic containers so convenient and chic. There is no Muji store in Florence (yet) so when I was in Berlin I took a little trip there and found this awesome mini drawer...I was there with my friends Andrea and Matteo and they were so sweet to got this for me as a gift ^^ I love this little thing and at the moment I'm using it to display some of my make up. Obviously you can use it to store anything you want like jewelry, stationary and even candies XD I can't wait to get more of these! Do you like them too? Do you have any of these?

Sono una grande fan di Muji e dei loro contenitori in particolare! Quelli in plastica trasparente sono i miei preferiti, li trovo utili e chic allo stesso tempo. Putroppo non c'è (ancora) un negozio Muji a Firenze e anche se posso comprare online, ho approfittato del mio viaggio a Berlino per dare un'occhiata e ho trovato questa scatolina con i cassetti...ero li con i miei amici Andrea e Matteo che hanno deciso di regalarmela ^^ mi viziano sempre!! La adoro e al momento la sto usando per riporre i trucchi che uso più spesso. Ovviamente potete metterci quello che più vi piace, come gioielli, cancelleria e perfino caramelle XD Non vedo l'ora di allargare la mia collezione! A voi piacciono? Ne avete qualcuna?

Suede booties

I love the infamous Isabelle Marant suede ankle booties but as we all know they're not cheap so I was looking for a more affordable alternative and I quite liked the Ash ones.  I started looking for them but they appeared to be sold out everywhere, not my size, or too expensive. On saturday I went out with my Mom to do some shopping and when I found them on sale and in my size I was really trilled!! I love this kind of shoes, I find the go with (almost) any look, plus they're comfortable! Do you like them?

Amo i famosi stivaletti scamosciati di Isabelle Marant, ma come sappiamo, non sono esattamente economoci, quindi ho trovato una valida alternativa in quelli di Ash. Li ho cercati per un sacco di tempo ma erano sempre sold out, non della mia misura o troppo cari. Quindi immaginatevi quando sabato, durante un giro di shopping con mia mamma, li ho trovati a sconto e nel mio numero...beh non c'è bisogno che aggiunga altro vero? Per me sono davvero scarpe versatili che si abbinano facilmente (quasi) ad ogni look e soprattutto sono comodi, che per me è fondamentale! Che ne dite vi piacciono?
