The mask edit

When it comes to skin care, face masks are definitely one of my favourite items and I really enjoy trying and discovering new ones! So today I want to share with you a selection of some I tried quite recently and some old favourites of mine.

GlamGlow Super-mud clearing treatment: This is definitely a staple in my stash. It's a mud mask that has a gritty texture but it's not too harsh on the skin. It's great to unclog pores and clear your skin without stripping it. If I feel like my skin is irritated I just use it on certain areas (like nose, chin and forehead).

Caudalie Purifying mask: I think I'm on my third tube and this mask is a must in my skin care routine. It's extremely gentle and clears the skin without irritating it or stripping it. You can use it twice a week and you can really see a difference and it's great to calm irritated, spotty skin.

La Roche-Posay Hydraphase Intense mask: This is great if your skin need that extra bit of moisture. It's clear, very hydrating and portable so it's amazing to use on long flights or when you're traveling.

Boscia Luminizing black mask: I pick this up when I was in Shanghai and I'll be sad when it's gone. It's a thick, black, peel-off mask. Great to minimize pores, remove impurities and make your skin more radiant.

Peter Thomas Roth mini masks: This mini set of three masks is great to test the brand out and my favourite is definitely the  Pumpkin Enzyme Mask. It smells great and has a grainy texture that is not too harsh on the skin but it cleanse and brightens it. The Cucumber Gel Mask is perfect for the warmer months, it's refreshing and de-puffing while the Rose Stem Cell mask has a nice jelly texture and hydrates, firm and plump the skin.

Talking about sheet masks my favourites are the ones from When. They have a almost gel-like feel and they really are a quick fix after a night out or a long flight. Next time I get the chance I'll be sure to stock up on them. Next I have Innisfree masks, for the price they're very nice but in store they don't have any other writing than Korean on the packaging so it's quite hard to figure out what you're getting so I recommend you to look them up online. The ones I got are Hyaluronic acid one and clarifyng one both really nice. Even though I don't have the packaging left to show you (but you can see it here) I tried the Rice mask from Tony Moly. I love the brand and this mask is supposed to brightens and tightens your skin and it did a really nice job on mine, plus is very gentle which is always a bonus.

There you have my round up on masks guys! I hope you liked it and let me know your favourite so I can try them out!!

Face masks

During my holiday I decided to try to take better care of my skin! This of course involved trying out some new products and today I'm gonna talk you about three masks I'd been enjoying lately :) So let's get started! The first one is Caudalie purifyng mask and I actually got this in France. Even though it's a purifyng mask it's ment for all skin types, it has a nice herbal scent not too overpowering and it has a nice smooth texture. It comes out of the tube white and after applying you have to leave it on for 10 minutes and then rinse it off. It leaves your skin clean, soft and more radiant. It's very gentle as well and you can use it up to twice a week. The second mask is another purifyng mask but this one is from H.Q. This is a clay mask so it's aimed for people with combination and oily skin. It helps to clean out the pores and really clense your skin so I wouldn't use it more than once a week or once every two weeks. It leaves your skin feeling nice and clean and more compact. Out of the three the mask from Inca Rose is by far the one that impressed me the most. I knew the brand which is all natural and I spotted this mask at the drugstore so I decided to give it a go. It's again a clarifyng mask and it's one of those sheet type kinda masks that you apply on your face and has holes for your eyes, nose and mouth...yes it's not one of the most flattering things to put on your face but well...I decided to try it on my first night in Cannes because I was super stressed out from my job and I had a huge pimple on my forehead. Well the next morning the pimple was GONE! I mean completely and my skin was looking very nice too. It's very soothing so it's perfect to use even if you have blemishes, I wouldn't recommend to use more than once a week though!
Let me know if you use masks too and tell me which one are your favourites!! I hope you liked it ;)
