It's Spring and I'm a very girly mood...as you can see from my wish list. Lately I've been obsessed with Self Portrait, their clothes are so on trend right now. I love how the do girly with an edge and this mini, lacy dress is to die for!! I find you can never have enough black pumps and these Gianvito Rossi's are a true staple, perfect on every occasion and season. Mansur Gavriel new clutches are lovely, very sleek and minimal as you'd expect them to be a nice addiction to any look really. Usually I don't go crazy for sunglasses but these from Chloé are just up my street, so elegant and chic!! A nice ring like this one from Mejuri and a nude lipstick (Very Victoria from Charlotte Tilbury of course) and you'll look just fab!! April is my birthday month and if someone is looking for gift inspiration...I'm just saying... ;P

È Primavera e mi sento più femminile che mai...come noterete dalla mia wish list. Ultimamente sono fissata con Self Portrai, marchio inglese di grande richiamo. Adoro i loro capi estramente femminili ma grintosi allo stesso tempo come questo mini abito in pizzo!! Trovo che per un bel paio di tacchi in nero, non sia necessaria giustificazione e questi di Gianvito Rossi, sono un pezzo intramontabile che si abbina perfettamente a qualsiasi look. Le nuove clutch di Mansur Gavriel, sono stupende, semplici e minimali come il resto della collezione di questo brand: un vero must!

Di solito non impazzisco per gli occhiali da sole ma questi di Chloé sembrano fatti apposta per me, sono così eleganti e chic!! Un bell'anello come quello di Mejuri, un rossetto nude (si parlo di Very Victoria di Charlotte Tilbury) e il nostro look è completo!! Aprile è il mese del mio compleanno, quindi se qualcuno volesse prendere ispirazione...faccio per dire... ;P

A girly twist on your parka

Hello everyone! While I was in London I picked up this parka from Anthropologie. I was looking for some kind of a light jacket to wear during this season and I think a Parka is a great option. What caught my eye about this one are the lace details that make it looks more girly and feminine. It's not too much so it works well for me and love its slightly oversized look. This past week I wore it every single day and I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of it in September as well :) Do you like it?

Ciao a tutti! Mentre ero a Londra, ho preso questo parka da Anthropologie. Stavo cercando una giacca leggera, da indossare in questa stagione e penso che il parka sia l'opzione perfetta. La cosa che mi ha conquistata di questo modello, sono i dettagli in pizzo che lo rendono molto più femminile, ma senza esagerare e mi piace molto il taglio leggermente oversized. Nell'utima settimana l'ho indossato praticamente tutti i giorni e penso che lo sfrutterò benissimo anche a Settembre :) Voi che dite, vi piace?

VFNO - Firenze Loretta Caponi event

 

Hi everyone! Last Thursday was VFNO in Florence and I was invited at Loretta Caponi event in their gorgeous boutique in Piazza Antinori. I've been there before (see my post here and here) and for me it's always a pleasure to came back to such a magical and colorful place!

There was and exposition of five unique robes made out of the most beautiful vintage fabrics and those set the vibe for the night! The store was decorated with a retrò theme: music, food and all kinds of colorful fabrics from the 70s coming directly from Loretta Caponi amazing archive! 

Even though Loretta Caponi boutique is very high end, the atmosphere there is so cozy and you feel always welcome like you're visiting a friend home! For VFNO they also made a capsule collection  of 30 collar called Col et Plastron linking directly back to the retrò vibe of the event. The collar were made out of lace, tulle and cotton, a real work of art! Another thing I relly like are men bottom pajamas made out of vintage fabrics, they're so cool! I think with the right styling you can pull them of in day time as well and I want to get my hand on those really soon!! 

On their website www.lorettacaponi.it the recently opended a web shop where you can definitely feel their philosopy: handmade, crafts and excellent quality are their main focus; all just one click away from you! They also have a Facebook page, so be sure to check it out ;)

Ciao a tutti! Giovedì scorso in occasione della VFNO di Firenze, sono stata invitata all'evento organizzato dalla favolosa boutique Loretta Caponi, in Piazza Antinori. Se vi ricordate avevo già visitato il negozio (potete trovare i miei post al riguardo qui e qui) e per me è sempre un piacere tornare in questo luogo magico e pieno di colori!

Per la serata c'erano in esposizione 5 vestaglie in edizione limitata, realizzate con tessuti vintage davvero meravigliosi e per tutto il negozio si respirava un'aria retrò, dalla musica, al cibo, agli splendidi tessuti degli anni 70' provenienti direttamente dall'archivio di Loretta Caponi, sembrava proprio di essere immersi in una fiaba dai colori vivaci!

La cosa che mi colpisce sempre di questo negozio, è che nonostante l'ambiente lussuoso si respira un clima familiare e l'accoglienza è al primo posto! In occasione della serata il negozio ha realizzato una capsule collection di 30 colletti Col et Plastron che si riagganciavano al tempo retrò, scelto per l'occasione. I colletti in pizzo, tulle e cotone erano davvero magnifici un'opera d'arte vera e propria! Ho adorato anche i pigiami da uomo realizzati con tessuti vintage, che secondo me sono davvero originali e con il giusto styling si possono portare anche nella vita di tutti i giorni...ne vorglio un paio assolutamente!! Loretta Caponi ha da poco lanciato sul suo sito web www.lorettacaponi.com uno shop online, creato sulle note della loro filosofia, dove l'artigianalità delle loro creazioni è al primo posto e così ovviamente renderà le sue bellissime creazioni a portata di click! Hanno anche una pagina Facebook, quindi vi consiglio di dargli un'occhiata ;)

I think the beginning of a new month (and in this case we're approaching a new season as well) is always a good time to re-organize, clean out your closet and...make a wish list of course! This month I'm looking forward to wear a cool leather jacket like this Helmut Lang one which is really beautiful! I'm all about neutrals and more textured pieces but I also really love Marc by Marc Jacobs lace mouse flats, aren't they adorable?

Penso che l'inizio di un nuovo mese (e in questo caso siamo anche alle porte con una nuova stagione), sia il momento perfetto per organizzare i nostri impregni, riordinare l'armadio e...mettere insieme una wish list ovviamente! Questo mese non vedo l'ora di indossare una bella giacca di pelle come questa di Helmut Lang, che è davvero stupenda! Poi sono fissata con i colori neutri e pezzi più consistenti e strutturati, ma allo stesso tempo mi sono innamorata delle ballerine di Marc by Marc Jacobs in pizzo, non sono adorabili? Summer haul

Yesterday before heading to the pool I went for a little shopping trip and I got a few nice pieces that I wanted to share with you guys :) The jewelry it's all from H&M and it was €4.95 for each piece. I got the earrings mainly because of I wanted the knotted ones but the others are kinda cute as well ^^ Then I went to Pull & Bear and found this very bright top on sale for just €7! I think it'll look adorable with shorts!!

Ieri prima di andare in piscina, ho fatto un piccolo giro di shopping e ho preso alcune cose carine che volevo mostrarvi :) Gli accessori sono tutti di H&M e li ho pagati €4,95 l'uno. Ho preso il set di orecchini principalmente per quelli fatti a nodo, ma alla fine anche gli altri non sono male ^^ Poi sono stata da Pull & Bear e ho trovato questo top, dai colori accesi per soli €7, carinissimo da portare con un paio di shorts!!

Sales collective haul and tips

Hello everyone! It's sales time :D I have quite of a difficult relationship with sales because even though I like buying things at a reduced price (who doesn't? XD) I can't deal with the crowd! Yes I'm picky like that...I need to have my space to look at things and actually try them on or I'll totally end up with something that doesn't fit or that I don't even like! So my tips for shopping during the sales is try to look online first or go to the shop before the sales start to get a better idea of what you're looking for, then try to go very early in the morning when the shops are not super busy and you can actually look at what you're buying.

I also like to do my shopping online so I can take my time but be sure to check out the shop return policy first! Btw back to the haul, this is what I got so far :) I needed a new swimsuit and I had my eyes on the lace trikini from Golden point (see my July wish list) but in the end I decided to get the bikini which is definitely more me, if you know what I mean! Then I got a couple belts from Massimo Dutti because I needed some nicer ones and I got those like braided because I can wear them both with jeans and around my waist with a cute dress! I was also looking for some new tops and I ended up getting these three which I really like! What about you? What did you get in the sales?

Ciao a tutti! E' tempo di saldi :D devo ammettere di avere un rapporto difficile con i saldi, nel senso che, nonostante mi piaccia molto comprare cose a prezzo ridotto (a chi non piacerebbe? XD) mi trovo un po' in difficoltà a fare acquisti nella calca! Sì lo so...quante pretese direte voi eh?! Ma che ci volete fare, sono fatta così :) Ho bisogno del mio spazio per osservare bene il mio probabile acquisto e ovviamente provarlo altrimenti mi ritrovo con qualcosa che non mi sta, mi sta male o che addirittura non mi piace poi così tanto! Quindi i miei consigli per fare acquisti sensati durante i saldi è quello di guardare prima online o al negozio, ma prima che iniziano i saldi, per farsi un'idea di quello che vogliamo. Poi scegliere una fascia oraria non troppo frequentata, io generalmente preferisco andare presto al mattino, così da avere modo di fare acquisti con più calma! A me piace molto anche acquistare online, si fanno ottimi affari alle volte, ma una cosa che controllo sempre è la politica per i resi visto che non potendo provare i capi non si sa mai! Ma torniamo ai miei acquisti :) mi serviva un costume nuovo e avevo messo gli occhi sul trikini effetto pizzo di Goldenpoint (vedi la mia wishlist di luglio), ma alla fine ho deciso di prendere il più classico bikini perchè mi sentivo più a mio agio! Poi ho preso un paio di cinture da Massimo Dutti, ho scelto il modello intrecciato perchè volevo un modello versatile da portare in vita con gli abitini o semplicemente con un paio di jeans! Cercavo anche qualche top carino e ho preso questi che avevo adocchiato da un po'. E voi, che avete preso ai saldi?

Il tempo non era granchè quindi ho deciso di indossare i miei stivali ma volevo comunque un tocco femminile e visto che ultimamente sono fissata con il pizzo, ho scelto di indossare un top di pizzo nero appunto, per addolcire il look e ovviamente la mia nuova borsa preferita: la PS11 di Proenza Schouler!!
